  8. Item: Cambridge Audio CXN Network streamer/DAC/Preamp (V1) Location: Canberra Price: $899 firm, plus postage if required Item Condition: New Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only (PayPal preferred) Extra Info: I purchased this CXN after reading review after review giving it 5 stars, but secretly I had my heart set on the higher model Cambridge Audio Azur 851N. I purchased the CXN because I found it for a really, really good price and I hadn't found an 851N.. and I knew it was going to be great. I took it home to Canberra, plugged it in and updated the firmware, had a listen for about 20 minutes (and was impressed), and then went to bed. The next morning I found an 851N on SNA and snapped it up! (thanks again Jyojo). Now I've got this shiny new CXN sitting here waiting to be loved. I purchased it on 26/09/18 for $899 and will supply the receipt so you can register it and receive the two years warranty from that date. I'm not looking to make a single dollar here, I'm happy to pass on the great price that I received to someone that will appreciate this excellent piece of kit. Pick up in Canberra or I can arrange for a courier at the buyers expense. Also, I'm heading back to Melbourne on 12/10/18 and would be happy to deliver it to someone down there or on the way. If it doesn't get snatched up before then I'll take it down and refund it. Any questions feel free to ask Pictures:
  9. Item: SOTM SMS-1000D with 2TB HD Lots of Music inside Location: PERTH SOR Price: $900 firm Item Condition: as new 9.5/10 Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: This is one amazing streamer with tons of flexibility. Addicted to Audio is selling the exact same model with analog output for $4199 (mine is the digital version) https://addictedtoaudio.com.au/products/sotm-sms-1000a-high-end-media-server-and-player. This is what 6Moons review says: " I ultimately was impressed with this server’s revealing yet easy engaging playback plus ability to handle all current formats including DSD completely glitch-free. It was indeed superior to any regular computer (PC or Mac) setup I have heard not to mention most CD players/transports. I also learnt a great deal about Linux and VortexBox and can certainly appreciate their popularity not just because they are free but because of the great deal of flexibility and user customization they afford us. I still feel that I just brushed the surface of what this slick machine is ultimately capable of." I don't have the box but can safely box it for shipping. Perth people can audition this at my place :-) Pictures:
  10. Item: Pioneer N-70A Location: Perth Price: $900 (Plus shipping) Item Condition: Used (9.5/10) only because it's used. The N-70A has balanced outputs, which are phase adjustable in terms of selecting either pin 2 or 3 as hot. It can do Airpay and is DLNA Certififed. It plays everything from Spotify Connect, DSD, and whatever format u fancy. Has all the connections too: wired, wireless, USB etc. It's hard to get in Australia as it's sold out everywhere. RRP is $1999. https://www.digitalcinema.com.au/pioneer-n-70a-network-audio-player.html Read the full specs here: https://www.pioneeraudio.com.au/products/n-70a Read this real user review: "I sold my beloved EAR Acute CD player with a view to get the Pioneer as a bridge player to get me into Computer audio. The plan was to upgrade to a higher end Network player later on, and perhaps the Accuphase DP600 CD player. Great was my surprise when the Pioneer in my system sounded notably better than the Acute in almost all aspects, better detail retrieval, a more natural top end, bigger soundstage, tighter and deeper bass, and a more energetic presentation. I was even more surprised, using my Michell Gyro SE, Oracle 345 tone arm, Benz Micro Gullwing SHR as a reference and could hardly hear a difference in tonal balance. The turntable is slightly more sparkly on top, with a tiny bit more bass punch. The Pioneer sounds utterly natural. I cannot stop listening to my system." Read the full review here: https://www.audioaficionado.org/archive/index.php/t-30749.html Pictures: the photos with the image of Norah Jones on the display are the actual unit I'm selling. The rest is from the internet. Edited July 11 by SoundGuy

Item: SOtM SMS200 Location: NE Melb 'burbs Price: $390 Item Condition: excellent Reason for selling: upgraded Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: I recently upgraded to the 'Ultra', and now passing this on. I purchased this from SNA several months back in, and it performed faultlessly I used it as a Roon Endpoint, but it's good for HQPlayer, etc. Original packing in excellent condition, and comes with the original wallwart. But of course these units are improved by using LPS. I've been using one from Clay, but have retained it for the Ultra For newbies to computer audio, @Snoopy8 thread is great help setting this up Pickup preferred, but can post if required. Pictures:
  13. Item: Cambridge CXN Network Streamer Location: Melbourne, NE suburbs Price: $900 Item Condition: Excellent - 9/10 Reason for selling: Upgraded Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: I purchased this unit from an SNA member a couple of months ago, but I rapidly found that I rarely used it & tended to stream direct the amp. Apart from investigating the DAC (yes, it’s pretty good), and the balanced outputs which makes a significant difference to the SQ, Its rarely been used. Now I’ve upgraded to streaming to a SOtM & a Chord 2Qute this needs a new home. For the money, these units are great value - The unit is excellent condition. I can’t see a scratch on it. It comes with remote, Bluetooth dongle, power lead. It’s double boxed so it can be shipped pretty easily at purchaser's expense. However, prefer a local buyer if possible. There are many reviews out there, and they a rightly supportive https://www.whathifi.com/cambridge-audio/cxn/review http://www.trustedreviews.com/reviews/cambridge-audio-cxn Pictures:
