  1. Purchased March 2012 therefore balance of 5 year warranty With remote. No box. Paired to B&W 804ds and only a few hours of usage and as new condition. Reason for sale is that we don't consume enough high bitrate media to warrant owning this amazing piece of equipment. Located in Brisbane and will consider postage. Price $3,800 or best offer
  2. Item: Linn Majik Isobarik in Rosenut Location: Sydney Price: $3900 $3300 (RRP $8795) + shipping costs if not picked up (around $110 to major cities) Item Condition: Excellent, apart from some minor marks on the base plate, and the one corner has a slight imperfection. (See pictures) Reason for selling: Moving towards a different colour and price band. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Bank Transfer, Paypal (+$80) Extra Info: These go very deep and have low bass distortion due to the isobaric configuration. An omni-directional bass output makes the speaker less sensitive to placement. They would suit someone who wants a speaker for a larger room, or for both music and home theatre; you wouldn't need a subwoofer. I've tried them without issues on the following amplifiers: (in 4 ohm as these as 4 ohm speakers) Naim Nait XS2 (100W) Rotel RB-991 (300W) Musical Fidelity A3.2 CR (225W) Cyrus Stereo 200 (325W) DIY push pull Kt150 tube (100W) These speakers have the option to be upgraded either to active, or partially active. In partially active only the bass drivers are active, and could then be driven on a much smaller amplifier. In passive mode they can be quad amplified, with four separate binding posts per speaker. I have the boxes and can ship, but local pickup can also be arranged. Information from Linn: http://small.linncdn.com/product-catalogue/documents/Linn_Majik_Isobarik_Product_Information.pdf

  4. Item: Linn Majik Isobarik in Rosenut Location: Sydney Price: $3900 $3800 $3700 $3600 (RRP $8795) + shipping costs Item Condition: Excellent, apart from some minor marks on the base plate, and the one corner has a slight imperfection. (See pictures) Reason for selling: I'd like to only have cherry or black gloss coloured speakers from now on. Also the bass is too strong for my room. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Bank Transfer, Paypal (+2.6%) Extra Info: These go very deep and has very low bass distortion due to the isobarik configuration. They can sound a bit heavy in a room smaller than around 5m x 5m, but balance out in rooms around that size or bigger. An omni-directional bass output makes the speaker less sensitive to placement. They would also suit someone who wants a speaker for both music and home theatre; you wouldn't need a subwoofer. I have the boxes, but shipping might cost a lot as they are 34kg each. Local pickup is possible too.
