Item: Herron VTSP-3 Tube Linestage, no phono, with original remote control Location: Redfern Price: $3000 Item Condition: 8/10 only for age but feels like 10/10 Reason for selling: Maybe upgrades Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Back Transfer, PayPal +3% Extra Info: I bought this wonderful linestage from a friend in September 2016. It has been working superbly without any hiccups. Cosmetically it looks brilliant, not even a tiny scratch I could see, except a tiny wear on the remote which you could see in the picture included. I contacted Herron Audio with the serial number for the latest upgrades. Keith Herron himself replied the email and confirmed that could be done to VTSP-3A(r03) through Audiophile Utopia in Hornsby. But not the VTSP-360 as this is a completely new design, according to Keith Herron. I am now in two minds about the upgrades. If someone buys this, it would make it easier for me to try something else as I love how brilliantly this linestage has made my system sounds. Besides the sound, I also love the mono switch and the balance control! The Electro Harmonix 6922 stock tubes were replaced with Russian 6N23P which I bought from this site. I thought they added quite a bit of muscle to the bottom ends without losing the airiness and transparency. Here is a nice review of the original VTSP-3: https://positive-feedback.com/Issue35/herron_vtsp3.htm *Happy to demo if you are in Sydney. *No box from the previous owner but happy to pack safely for shipping if required. The postage fee should be low as this linstage is quite light. Pictures:
