Hi all, Wanting to know what others are using as an illumination method for a turn table. And where to get it from? Requirements: Very tiny LED light ( dimmable is better) Goose-neck type system to adjust the position of the light Re-chargeable battery ( to minimise RFI) Searching the web found quite a few - ranging from $30 to $250 Wanting to find out what forum members are using. Cheers.

So the MOWAF has requested/demanded that I install "clappy lights" in our theatre room so when a movie has finished she does not have to get up to turn the lights on - last time she tired to navigate off the riser in the dark she fell off, which of course was my fault.. . I did instruct her to turn everything off after she got to the light switch but that suggestion was just met with a look that would have curdled milk... So I'm looking into getting my main lights remote controlled if possible (bugger clapping lights) and I'm just after some advice. Currently I have 6 led downlights installed with a manual dimmer control on a single switch. TBH I don't think I've even dimmed them since I got them installed so I don;t really care if they are dimmable or not I've found this Clipsal product that looks exactly what I am after: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/280879694030?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT but if anyone has any advice or thoughts it would be appreciated. Note that I am using a Logitech Ultimate setup with the hub, so either RF or IR are fine. I would prefer RF so line of sight is not needed but beggars can't be choosers, hey? Cheers.
