  6. Picked up a pair fo the JBL 4312M II Compact Monitors as part of the group buy below, Some official info below, I understand these were destined for the Japan market and we managed to get a few for ourselves aswell, not quite the classic wood and blue JBLs just the black versions ... but hey they'll still sound the same am sure Arrived promptly ... and did a quick unboxing... seem to be packed pretty well, from the manual can see was destined for Japan market... Getting them out of the box these are far more sturdier than expected. Quite solid actually. The dials for adjusting mid and tweeter move either side of 12 O'clock in notches either way... Grills velcro on so easily removed, nicely finished behind the grills, amazing for a 3 way speakers of this little size.... good binding posts and overall look pretty smart in the finish... with rear threaded mounting points as would expect for a monitor... Hopefully others can chime in with thoughts... and also listening experience and how these are in ownership....
  7. Hi. I can pick up a Sonique SAV4, speaker home theatre system. Two SAV4 and the C1 Basically replacing my fronts and my centre. I currently have two JBL Balboa 30's as my fronts and the three way jbl Northridge ec35 as my centre. Pairing with a Richter Krakatoa sub and Jenson ceiling speakers with a denon x1300 as the amp. Basically will the Sonique SAV4 be an upgrade over my current JBL system? Thanks for your help and insight.
  8. Further information: Hardly used and basically in new condition. These beauties need to find a home where they'll be put to better use than I've ever put them too. They sound to good to be sitting in a box hiding away. Enquiries and questions welcome. The JBL 4312 E studio monitor is the direct descendent of the legendary Model 4320, the original JBL monitor that forever changed audio recording, introduced in 1968. As you would expect of a true JBL studio monitor, the 4312 E delivers crisp, powerful bass at all listening levels with a massive 300mm (12-inch) woofer driven by a Differential Drive (U.S. patent no. 5,748,760 and other patents pending) dual 75mm (3-inch) voice-coil assembly. A 125mm (5-inch) pure-pulp cone and 25mm (1-inch) copper voice coil with Kapton® bobbin realistically reproduce the full dynamics of vocal performances with low distortion, even at the highest listening levels. A 25mm (1-inch) tweeter with a magnesium/aluminium alloy dome extends HF response far beyond the audible range of the human ear. Built in mirror-image pairs to create the detailed, coherent stereo soundstage that studio monitors must, the JBL 4312 E exceeds the expectations of critical listeners and music professionals alike, providing a listening experience of such richness and subtlety that it cannot be compared to anything but a live performance. 10. Hi guys, trying to find a new front tower speakers for my home theatre system and seem to have found a JBL "S 311 II". but cant seem to find any information about them. The only thing is that it seems to have is "250 - 400Watts" on the sticker. size is the 1200h X 200w X 410D Would anyone have any information about them? Would anyone know how they compare to the Axis LS-38/LS-88? Would it be better a Yamaha NS-F51 or a DALI or JAMO ? Will be using mainly for movies and some light music listening. Thanks
  11. Item: JBL L26 speakers Location: Sydney Price: 150 Item Condition: Used Reason for selling: NLR, paying bills Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, COD Only Extra Info: Still working well, they were semi retired after my move (1.5 years ago) but now I think it best just to find them a new home. I have had them for 2+ years now ( I thought it was 1 year, time flies!) I wanted to keep them longer but life throws curve balls at you constantly and I’m starting to pay attention to the big picture and slowly adjusting myself (under duress). Happy to demonstrate. 12. Item: JBL L26 speakers Location: Sydney Price: 250 Item Condition: Used Reason for selling: A bit too big for my room (most definitely too big) Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Extra Info: I have had these for over a year now, love the orange grille on them that screams 70’s. Sadly after our move I can’t really use these as they are too wide for my place and as they are not being used I feel it’s a waste, so with much sadness here they stand warts and all. Now the foams have been glued to the front of the woofers (previous owner) and they are sitting on mini stands. Also they could do with a sand and oil but I’ll leave that to the new owner as some people want to use their specific oil that they trust. I will donate if they sell here!

  16. Extra Info: First owner, I've had these for approximately 18 months. One of the few speakers I've owned that ticks so many boxes. Big soundstage, huge dynamics, ability to do home cinema as well as stereo. There's many reviews out there. If you're a JBL fan, then it doesn't get much better than this. Note: I've had these professionally vinyl wrapped in a Porsche metallic silver - can't remember the exact name of the colour. It is completely reversible which will reveal the original Rosewood Wood Grain timber finish. You'd have to look hard up close to see evidence of the wrap. It's very well done and much better than the 6-month and $6,000USD charge for custom colours. If you've got a small to medium sized room, and like to listen loud, there's probably nothing better. Yet, dial it back and you've got the refinement and detail that takes it to the best of speakers I've heard around the globe. I can organise shipping of these with insurance etc - which can be discussed for serious purchasers. Photos:
  17. Item: JBL Authentics L8 Location: Sydney, Alexandria (or office at Greenwich on weekdays) Price: $500 (prefer pickup but happy to ship at buyers expense) Item Condition: Perfect used condition Reason for selling: No longer used Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Used as my office speaker before purchasing the Naim Mu-So i also have advertised. Has been sitting in storage for about a year finally gotten around to clearing it out. No issues at all with the unit and the sound is great for a smaller room or even as a sound bar. The amount of bass is also quite surprising for the size. Comes with all original accessories and original packaging. More info on the speaker here: https://eu.jbl.com/AUTHENTIC+L8.html?
