  11. Item: Integra DHC-80.3 9.2ch AV Processor Location: Melbourne Price: $1400 firm Item Condition: 9/10 Has spent it's entire life in my AV cabinet (apart from warranty work) so assume virtually unmarked except perhaps some rear scratches from inserting HDMI cables etc. Reason for selling: Upgrade Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: 1st owner and comes with original packaging and accessories. Bought from Audio Trends March 2013, so comes with 17 months of warranty remaining. I'm almost certain there was 5 years warranty on these even though I'm told Integra warranty is now 3 years. As this is permanently in my HT room with projector set up it has had an easy life, probably only getting used a couple of times a week. To be 100% open in description, Integra/Onkyo had a few issues around time of release with faulty HDMI boards and this unit has had the entire processor board (which houses the HDMI board) replaced under warranty as a large % of them have, but I'm told by Ambertech the new boards simply do not fail. So better than new! This was basically the 2nd best processor available at the time (at sane prices), the Marantz 8801 being the best at time of purchase but much more $$$. Past that you were looking at 5 figures. Couple this with a good 5/7ch power amp and take HT to amazing new highs. 9.2 channel processor Audyssey XT32/Pro THX Ultra 2 Certified Dual monitor out if wanting to run TV & projector set up Basically it's quicker to tell you what it can't do, which is throughput 4K video but can upscale DVD or Bluray to 4K. I use this with a UHD player but video goes direct to my projector and sound to processor. Also does not decode ALAC music files but happy with FLAC Mp3 etc etc The features list is too long to quote so check here for full spec http://www.integrahometheater.com/Products/model.php?m=DHC-80.3&class=Preamplifier&source=prodClass Price based on this. The new DHC-80.6 added atmos/4k passthrough but lost Audyssey, so for most people this is still the premier Integra processor. http://www.avaustralia.com.au/integra-dhc-80-3-9-2-channel-thx-network-av-preamp-with-4k-scaling-used/ Pictures: More in post further down

  14. Up for sale here is my Integra DTR-7.9 AVR. This is a great amp and has performed flawlessly over the 3 years that I have owned it. Would be a great buy for anyone getting started that doesn't need the very latest 4k hoopla. This amp is of the older school, it weighs 17kg and has a max power consumption of 780 watts! It's THX Ultra 2 Plus certified and is pretty packed with features. I still have all original packaging and accessories, and the unit is in near perfect condition. It has always lived on a dedicated rack in a well ventilated, climate controlled room. If you are looking for a budget solution with excellent ultimate sound quality then this is a good option. Located in Perth, however will ship at shared cost with buyer. Can provide photos on request. Price: $550 http://www.integraho...ss=Receiver&p=f http://63.148.251.13...=dtr-7-9-sm.pdf Cheers, Drew
  15. Item: Onkyo PR-SC5509 Location: Perth (would prefer pick-up but will post at your expense and instructions) Price: $2,200 Condition: Excellent, have never had an issue and is used lightly Reason for selling: Wife expecting, renovating house, surplus to needs Hi guys, little introduction needed for this item (Integra 80.3 equivalent). Received this as a birthday gift couple years back. I believe it was purchased in Singapore. Being a gift, I don't have the receipt so probably no longer under warranty. The item works perfectly. Inspection is welcome. This was part of a HT project I was working towards but 2 years on and I've made little progress. Includes manual, Audessey microphone. Feel free to ask questions. http://www.intl.onkyo.com/products/av_components/av_separates/pr-sc5509/index.html
  16. Hi All, I have: Integra HDC 9.9 Pre-Pro Anthem PVA-7 Amplifier B&W 683 in a 5.1 configuration The Integra supports Bi-Amping when in a 5.1 configuration. Is it worth my while in investing a additional speaker cable to bi-amp my B&W's. For an additional 20m of speaker cable, is it worth the investment?
  17. Hey All, I am Currently running a set Whatmough Floorstanding speakers, large rears and sub in 7.1 from an Integra DTR-30.1 AV receiver in my main lounge. As I now have a 1 year old son who wants to destroy everything he can get his hands on i've decided to move the Watmoughs to my "man cave" and purchase a modest set of 5.1 sub/sats to run on the integra amp so I can mount them out of reach. This area of the house is mainly used for TV/Movie watching ,very little music (as I have a nice set up for music elsewhere in the house). I live in the country so it is hard for me to get to dealers to audition sub/sats systems. Does anyone have any advice on sub/sat packages up $1500 that they can recommend?? Cheers Michael
