  2. Item: Infinity RS4000 Speakers, black, 8" three way, with Emit K tweeter Location: Sydney - Hills District Price: $175 Item Condition: very good, see photos Reason for selling: too many speakers Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, Direct Debit Extra Info: These are quite heavily built cabinets and host an 8” three-way design with EMIT K ribbon tweeters, hence the extended upper frequency range to bat levels, 45kHz. The sound is clear and spacious, the bass tight and down to 45Hz. Recommended power covers a wide range from 25-125 watts, and at 89dB efficiency you have a fair bit of leeway. I'd tend towards the upper third of that range. Nominal Impedance: 6 ohms Power Recommended: 25-125 watts RMS Sensitivity: 89dB @ 1 watt, 1 meter Crossover Frequencies: 800Hz and 3,500Hz Frequency Response: 45Hz-45kHz +/-3dB Dimensions: 57cm(H) x 31.75cm(W) x 26cm(D) There’s a tone adjustment on the back to fine tune for room acoustics. According to the included manual there’s a protection circuit for the tweeters. Probably get best sound when used with short stands (maybe 250-300mm) but they can be floor standing and still work well. Update: I have an old pair of metal stands about the right height that can be added for $25 the pair - no time to photo at the moment. Freight: ask me about this. No boxes at the moment. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.

I have tested them in Gamma mode with a servo controller & they fully functional with the Original Servo woofers still in them. You can find all of the RS model infinitys and Kappas, for sale. They are bridgeable . They are Lovely speakers These refurbished vintage beauties will outdo most modern speakers 5 times their price. I love these speakers , Its like a concert in your room with the rear firing super tweeter giving excellent staging & presence. Im only selling them because I bought a pair of Betas at double the price for negligible difference. be warned They are a very detailed speaker & will tell tales on poor quality equipment. These need Amps to be stable down to 2 Ohms I also have a vintage Aragon Amp for sale. The Aaragon can run these on its own , I highly recommend Bi amping with a tube amp running the top end for maximum enjoyment When I first set these up I heard details I never heard before in albums I'd listened to for years! 4. Unfortunately the IC board for the powered subwoofer for one of my Infinity Overture 3 Compositions speakers has failed. If anyone can assist with sourcing a replacement IC board OR obtaining a copy of V0 of the Service Manual (not the V1 5/2005) readily available on the net, so that he can repair the existing board, I would be most grateful, as my technician is unable to do the repair without the correct manual version. It appears that 2 versions of the IC board were produced (1st prior to 2005) & the other from 2005.
  5. Item: LH Labs Pulse Infinity Dual Mono Balanced dac/amp WITH Linear Power Supply Location: Inner West Sydney Price: A$SOLD including express postage Australia wide (RRP US$3500) Item Condition: 9/10, works perfectly Reason for selling: Surplus, downsizing Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: The Infinity unit is the highest tier unit in the LH Labs Pulse line-up. Definitely a league above the much loved Xfi. **** I am open to trades for high end over-ear closed headphones **** I've bought a Chord DAVE. And so, need to sell this beauty of a DAC/headamp. It has balanced/unbalanced amp outputs, and also 4pin XLR and 1/4" jack for headphones. The LH Labs Infinity DAC is not to be confused with the cheaper models: the lower tier Pulse X or mid tier Pulse Xfi models. I have found the Infinity to perform in line with the Schiit Yggdrasil, and certainly superior to the Schiit Gumby. The amp is also great - though I preferred pairing the Infinity with my Cavalli Audio Liquid Gold. The Linear Power Supply (LPS1, which is included in the asking price) adds an even greater level of blackness, crispness and image clarity. Just supreme solid state performance. See here a review of the mid-tier Xfi model, and the LPS4 power supply: https://www.audiostream.com/content/lh-labs-geek-pulse-xfi-linear-power-supply-4-lps4 The new cost of the Infinity DAC/amp is US$2499 (though now out of production), while the LPS1 alone would set you back US$599. So the asking price of A$SOLD including shipping is very reasonable. Paypal extra. This is as good as it gets in the <$4000 realm of DACs! I have all the original packaging and can ship to anywhere. I will throw in the aftermarket RAL cable for free. Note - the other items pictured are NOT for sale (including the Focal Utopia, Hifiman HE-1000v2, the Chord DAVE, and the Cavalli Audio Liquid Gold). Pictures: See below.
