Hi Guys, We are having a GTG listening session at my place in Castle Hill, NSW on Saturday, 13 June 2015 to introduce Redefy ONE, hORNS Mummy and Arte Forma products. Here are some details about the system and speakers : 1. Redefy ONE, 92db 3way stand mount. 2. hORNS Mummy, 94db 2way Floorstander. 3. Arte Forma Thalia 6SN7 Tube Preamp. 4. Arte Forma Due Volte SET 35w with 805 tubes. 5. Esoteric SA-60 SACD. 6. Class D NCORE NC400 in stereo. 7. AudioGD Master5 Solid State Preamp. We thought it would be fun to have an afternoon listening with 2 completely different speakers with possible comparison on high power SET and high power Class D (400w @4ohm) , i personally welcome critique and honest opinion on the system of the day and for the ONE and Mummy specifically . We are aiming to start around 1pm, nibbles, snacks and "moderate" alcohol will be served. The room itself comfortable for 8people but can accommodate up to 12 . BYO music are welcome as i know lots of SNA'ers got a great music collection, as for my demo tracks, it could be somewhere from Trentmoller to Dave Brubeck... Item: OCELLIA Calliope 30 Silver Speakers (Full Range 12') Location: Perth Price: $4,550 ono (priced to sell as were 11,000 Euro new) Condition - Immaculate Reason for Selling: No Longer Required Payment Method: Cash, Bank Deposit, Wire Transfer, Paypal (add 3 %). Extra Info: Manufactured by Ocellia in France and truly unique!/ The driver is a rare French made 12" full range (drivers alone are valued at $5,500), alnico magnet, silver wire coil, paper cone, cast bell bronze housing. This model was made by Bernard Salabert, who is no longer with us. The piezo tweeter in the middle is paper cone also. It is a bi-wire version and accepts banana plugs. Internal wiring is solid core silver. The cabinets are immaculate with no marks dings or scratches. Comes with original boxes to ensure safe transport. Each speaker weighs about 30kgs each. The cabinets are made of musical instrument grade spruce. These speakers are ideal for tube amplifiers. I have played these on 6w Single Ended Triode, and they produce ample volume to fill a large room. The are 16 Ohm and 98db sensitivity and are truly unique and impressive and no longer available new.
