  1. Further information: Bought new from Duratone Hifi more than one year ago, so no more warranty. Just tried in few hours and then put it back in the box since then because I preferred open back headphones as Hifiman. Even not burn in yet. All accessories included as in pictures but not the headphone hanger. Price is included shipping in Oz. 2. Further information: I’d always been keen to hear these, NAD’s first headphones, especially as they were designed by Paul Barton from PSB Audio using the Roomfeel tecnology he developed and received many rave reviews on their release, particularly from Tyl at InnerFidelity who spoke of them as a successor to the HD600 [sadly nearly all his archives seem deleted from the web now, a great loss]. So finally purchased these new 1 month ago and I’d have to agree with the consensus that these are wonderful phones at their price point, to my ears very slightly on the warm engaging side of neutral with great tonal balance across the spectrum, fantastic soundstage for closed cans, with really good detail, separation and instrument placement. I’m only letting them go because they are too similar IMO to the Messe 99 Classic which I already own and I’m trying to keep my possessions to a minimum. They’ve had maybe 20hrs use absolute max, so are in immaculate condition, come with all original accessories and packaging and postage is included in price. Any questions please ask, here’s a selection of reviews. https://audiophilestyle.com/ca/reviews/nad-viso-hp50-with-roomfeel-headphone-review-r720/ https://www.headfonia.com/nad-viso-hp50-unique-headphone/2/ https://www.soundstagexperience.com/index.php/equipment-menu/572-nad-viso-hp50-headphones Photos:
  3. Further information: It's pre-2019 version (I call it Marble ver). Purchased in July 2019 from A2A (RRP $448), still in warranty for around 1 year. The condition is mint, no scratch or dent. Listened for around 100-150 hours. Also got Dekoni Elite earpads (RRP $115) from A2A in June this year, so it's still quite new. I throw in a 2m customised 4-pin XLR cable (RRP $50) with gotham cable and Neutrik connector. Hence, original price for this combo is about $610. Comes with original box and accessories. I prefer to sell them as a whole. IMO, HD600 is one of the most popular and classical model at this price range. The balanced cable is made of gotham high purity OFC wire and 4-pin Neutrik connector. 4. Further information: I've used this for about a year and a half. The leather on the headband is cracking a little (pictured below) but it's in good condition otherwise. The ear pads have been washed. I have a Zen DAC if you wish to audition it. Photos:
  5. Selling my Audio-Technica ATH-A900X's. Hi, I'm selling my Audio-Technica ATH-A900X's, they've seen some use over the years, and have a little wear and tear (as pictured), but otherwise sound great still. I've replaced the original pads recently with Dekoni Elite leather pads, and also replaced a broken 3D wing with a 3D printed model, and superglued it in place, as well as modified the headphones to have a tighter clamp-force, as they usually require constant adjustment to prevent from falling off one's head (unless you have a ginormous head). Available for pickup, or postage at buyers expense, feel free to message me for further details.
  6. Further information: All 3 items are in immaculate condition and are rarely used (this is my second headphone set up). Headphone amp comes with 2 set of tubes. Plenty of information and good reviews on the internet. Headphones and music player come with original boxes and accessories. Headphone amp doesn’t have box. Price includes postage (flat rate) Australia wide. 7. I picked up a Hifiman Arya yesterday from Minidisc, upgrading from a Sennheiser HD660S. In the lead up to buying the Arya, I brought my HD660S in and demoed it side by side with the Hifiman Ananda, Focal Clear and the Arya, and picked the Arya. The Ananda was pretty close to the Arya, but the Arya was ultimately a bit clearer and smoother. The Clear felt like an entirely different beast and I can see myself wanting to add a Focal one day in the far off future (perhaps a Utopia or a Stellia?), budget allowing. At the moment, I have it booked up to a Schiit Modi 3/Magni Heresy stack and it sounds excellent. I was thinking of upgrading the stack to a Drop THX 789 and a Schiit Modius, but after hearing the headphones on my own gear, I decided to hold on to the Schiit stack for the moment. I'm no audiophile so take my comments on sound with a massive grain of salt. To me, the Aryas are open, airy, detailed, fast and have surprisingly good bass extension (but not impact/punch) to my (untrained) ears. The treble is very sweet and just sparkles. That said, the mids are not as sweet as the Sennheiser and I can definitely now see why people have multiple headphones in their collection. While the Arya has many advantages over the HD660S, there are a certain things the Sennheiser does that the Arya (nor the Clear) don't do as well. The Arya in no way makes the HD660S redundant. I'm selling the Sennheisers, but maybe I'll try to replace them down the road with some ZMFs... It's such a dangerous road! Appearance wise, the Aryas look more stupid/outlandish than the HD660S which look like a model of an architectural concept. Also, it annoys me that the Arya's cables are about a third of the length compared to the HD660S and the unboxing experience is not as nice. I would be very interested in your thoughts on whether upgrading my amp to a 789 or 887 while still using single ended would make a noticeable difference to sound quality (noting that the Heresy has more power for single ended). Or alternatively, whether I would notice any difference upgrading my DAC.
  8. Further information: I've owned these headphones for a bit under 6 months and they are in excellent condition and work perfectly. I thought I wouldn't have GAS again for a while. Unfortunately, I walked into Minidisc and made the mistake of trying the Arya, and I can't get it out of my head. Hopefully I can resist trying amp and DACs the next time I'm there... Pick up in Chatswood, NSW. 9. I am buying a set of STAX L700 headphones and energiser. My question is how do I incorporate these pieces into my current system which is MacBook Pro running Audirvana into Arcam irDACII via USB which is connected to Arcam A39 integrated amp by twin RCAs and to Arcam CDS27 streamer/CD by coaxial (ie to DAC). Will I connect the energiser to my DAC or one of the other pieces? I've searched but couldn't find an answer to this. And if it's blindingly obvious, sorry.... Thanks
  10. Further information: Bought from Addicted to Audio. Still sealed in box. No longer needed. Had a change of circumstances so have no use for it. Photos:
  11. Further information: Hello all, I bought this Focal Clear from Minidisc only a couple of months ago (can provide receipt if needed) and would like to sell it as I'm not getting enough use out of it to justify the price. It is in like-new condition and I have bought headband protectors that I will include. These are a stunning set of headphones and are wonderful to listen to. They come with all original packaging, all 3 sets of cables (6.3 mm, 3.5 mm, and XLR) along with the hard carrying case. This is a fair price IMO as it is currently retailing for $2200. 12. Further information: only 3 months old. Still under warranty. I have the original box and the receipt for 2 year warranty. Purchased on 31/03/2020 at Addicted to Audio Newtown. Only 157 hours played. Still looks and feel brandnew. 14. Further information: Bought just 2 months ago. Sticker on left side is torn off by me (in order to grab the right side to put it on without take a look) as photo shows, others are prefect. All accessories included(bag is unused), comes with receipt. BTW the impedance is 470ohms, sensitivity is 98db, so don't purchase it when you don't have an amp Can post but I can only cover $10 for postage, but this headphone is a light-weighted one tho. If you're interested please PM. Cheers Photos:
  15. Further information: I bought this unit in September 2015. I then purchased a much more substantial headphone amp and this was left in its packaging at the back of the cupboard. I have only taken it out once, which is to take these photos attached. It has decent reviews for a USD200 unit: https://www.cnet.com/news/upgrade-your-headphones-sound-with-musical-fidelitys-v-can-amplifier/ It is available for pick-up or else if you would like it posted to you, that can be arranged at extra cost (let's say $10 within Australia), it will come in its original packaging. 16. Hi everyone, I'm am selling my new Master & Dynamic MW65 Wireless Headphones. 17. I'm looking to get some good headphones and a headphone amp to connect them to. I could just plug headphones into my Yamaha R-N602, however I want to explore and hear the differences in various set-ups. Also my Kefs don't have the bass for a lot of my 90s and 00s music I'm finding. Trouble is I have no idea where to begin or what to look for. My local hifi are pointing me at a second hand $450 Musical Fidelity X-Cans headphone amplifier, but I'm not sure if that's the right brand and device to go for. Not to mention, would still need some headphones to go with it. Budget is in the $1-2k range.

  20. Further information: Make and Model – Definitive Technology Symphony 1 Closed Back Wireless Headphones: Barely used; No longer being made; Wireless and active noise cancelling; Can be used wired; Has microphone Background: After seemingly losing my Bose QC25 Headphones (they were behind the couch) I went on a search for a replacement and discovered Hi-Fi. However, sitting in shops for hours on end for testing wasn't working. I decided to buy (when on sale so I didn't lose too much on the resell) and do AB testing at home to find the sound signature that I liked the most, both for an everyday/out and about pair and a high-end at home pair of headphones, along with associated DAC/amps. This process has lasted approximately a year and I'm now selling off most of what I have. Sound: None of what I'm selling are in and of themselves poor performers. If I'm selling any set of headphones or DAC/amps it's because I prefer a different sound signature. Condition: I've done the hard yards and all headphones and amps I'm selling on StereoNet have been burnt in for at least 50 hours. For the most part the burn in process has occurred when playing throughout the day when I'm at work, rather than on my head (no comment on whether burn is a thing or not). Naturally they've all spent a number of hours on my head but have all been wiped down as per the manufacturer's instructions and are in essentially new condition unless stated otherwise under the make and model below. I cannot claim to be able to re-wrap/pack cables as good as those in the factory, and some items plastic protective films have been removed, but I can't remember those that have. They may have minor amounts of dust present no matter how hard I tired with physical and air dusters. Shipping: Is not included in the price unless stated otherwise or any negotiations take place. If you choose to pick up directly, the price is the price and there will be no drop due to the item not having been posted (unless stated otherwise). Shipping is just within Australia. For express post items I can't guarantee next day delivery due to my working hours, but I will endeavour to get them to you ASAP.
