From the Webpage : " No HDMI 2.1 receivers were officially announced at CES 2020 but Yamaha's 2020 line-up of Aventage receivers will seemingly be one of the first to arrive with HDMI 2.1. The Yamaha RX-A8 (11 channels), RX-A6 (9 channels), RX-A4 (7 channels) and RX-A2 (7 channels) were detailed in a now-removed video and summarized in German Hi Fi forum." Hi, I’m in the market for a new Oled TV (4K not 8K) and I want to consider hdmi configuration options, and cables that meet the spec without costing too much. My source is an Oppo 203 (modded power supply), and my AVR is a Cambridge Audio CXR200. The current configuration is: HDMI from Oppo to AVR HDMI from AVR to (current) TV toslink from TV to AVR (for free to-air TV) Should I replicate the same setup (with HDMI taking out the Toslink) or change it up by going OPPO to TV as well?
