  2. A very superficial/brief description if I may: This product transmits content from a portable device to your earphones via a Bluetooth codec referred to as aptX-HD. aptX-HD is desirable over the standard SBC codec as it allows a higher bit-rate of 576 kbit/s and supports high-definition audio up to 48 kHz sampling rates and sample resolutions up to 24 bits. The below outlines the inbuilt amplification and digital-to-analogue converter specifications I've taken from the Amazon listing: 24bit Bluetooth receiver designed to deliver studio-quality sound through your ears WIRELESS - using your existing wired headphones, earphones or even speakers. Dimension 1 x 2 x 0.5 inch / Weight 20g / 14 hours of continuous playback / Dedicated app featured with 10 band EQ and Ambient mode / USB audio playback / device firmware update Including 2 independent Hi-fi DACs and Amplifiers (Asahi Kasei AK4375a) – the optimal Dual DACs/AMP design for both single-ended and full-differential outputs Analog volume control allows to keep the optimal audio performance even at low volume level using Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA) which is known for the best way to control the volume. Built-in microphone supports answering calls while using earphones without a microphone I currently have one en-route (via ShopMate as it doesn't ship directly to Australia) and wanted to raise awareness/start a discussion on this relatively new product as it looks quite promising. *I've hyperlinked the important stuff
  3. Hi I'm moving out and have no room for this fantastic projector. The W3000 is the latest from BenQ and has got fantastic reviews with a 'Best Buy' endorsement. It's rare in Australia due to it only being available from one dealer. It has ISF certification and it has been calibrated to Rec709. Cost over $3200 in August this year and I will include 2 BenQ 3D glasses worth $89 each (used once - seriously). Still under full warranty. Asking for $2500 and open to offers. Great way to save off a new unit. Location is Mount Eliza Victoria. Please contact me for shipping details http://www.benq.com.au/product/projector/w3000
  4. Hi, Acquired new in Feb 2014 and never utilised for its potential having played under 10 Blu-Ray movies in it's life. If interested i'm moving it on for $4.5k. Mint condition and by electronics standards barely run in. I live in Brisbane and happy to help facilitate shipping at buyers expense. It comes with all original accessories and I believe I still have the original boxes in storage. An exhaustive list of 5 star high-end reviews and accolades on the google. But i'm sure you already knew that. Cheers, Bev
  5. Since at least Good Friday, I've been able to watch all of Foxtel's HD channels except for Arts HD, even though I'm on the non HD package. Has anyone else been getting this? Is Foxtel doing an HD promo?

  7. Hello, I'm new here so I trust this is the correct forum to add this news. I have been reading this forum for years. I rang Setanta today to cancel my account because I could not fathom why I was paying 20$ a month for picture quality that looked like it was from YouTube in 2006. I rang and told them and the representative told me: - Setanta has doubled the bandwidth on their channel which allowed for better picture quality (I'm paraphrasing) - Setanta Sports on Foxtel will be in HD by the start of the 2014-2015 European football season - At that time the cost of the channel will increase but existing customers won't be paying more Is this just dodgy salesmenship or are their whispers that this is occurring? Could this even occur?
