They can be used for support any electronic equipment even as feet to turntable. Made of combination of ebony and brass. No soft damping material such as sorbothane that can dampen the music. Plenty of knock offs but this is the real deal. Come with original packaging. Good condition with a few scratches on the top surface. Retail close to $1000. Harmonix by Combak corporation of Japan have been around for a very long time. Also the maker of JVC XRCD and Remiyo dac. Google for further information. https://positive-feedback.com/Issue14/harmonix.htm https://highfidelity.pl/@main-564&lang=en
  2. Item: Combak Harmonix RF909x spike base, 2 sets, Made in Japan Location: Melbourne Price: $250 per set of 4 or 450 for both sets plus paypal and shipping Item Condition: Used in very good condition. Reason for selling: surplus Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, bank transfer Extra Info: http://www.combak.net/feet&bases/FEET_and_BASES.html I have 2 sets of Comeback Harmonix RF909x spike base from Japan for sale. Harmonix have been making tuning devices for over 3 decades. They are also the designer and manufacturer of Reimyo electronics and engineers for XRCD. They work differently to Stillpoint or Finite Elemente which dampens vibrations. Harmonix devices are made of metal and timber. Resonances are not dampened but tuned to more natural frequencies that reduces their impact on the music. One of the few equipment feet that actually works. I used them under my Tannoy dual concentric speakers. The feet can each take substantial weight. The feet come in their original boxes. In very good condition, minor scratches on the surface only. I have Black Diamond Racing cones that I used with them that I can sell with the bases. Pleas ask if you are interested. Review: http://positive-feedback.com/Issue14/harmonix.htm They are selling for US$1400 for 2 sets on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/special-NEW-Combak-Harmonix-RF-909X-Spike-Base-2-sets-BLACK-/182068983171 Pictures:
