Item: Eclipse TD-M1 Speakers Location: Darlinghurst Price: $400 firm. Lol I think this is a great price. Item Condition: Used. Very good condition. Reason for selling: Surplus (I have another set in white!) Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal Extra Info: https://www.whathifi.com/eclipse/td-m1/review According to Forbes (lol) these are Possibly The World's Most Exclusive Computer Speakers. I really love these. The imaging is really cool, the speakers certainly disappear. Great for a desk or small space. Not suitable for your lounge room or home theatre. When friends listen they say "oh wow... but where's the bass". There's not really any provision to easily add a sub into the mix here. One brilliant decision the designers made was the speakers broadcast a wifi signal and host a website for configuring access to your router. This means that when the speakers are long forgotten by the manufacturer you'll still be able to connect them to your network. Even when the iphone or android app is no longer supported. Speaking of the iphone app. One fairly average decision they made was not to include a physical remote. Settings (volume etc) can be controlled by touch sensitive controls on the right speaker or via an app. The touch controls work great. But the iphone app was always flakey and I don't think it will be supported for much longer. Volume can also be adjusted remotely via Airplay, which these support. I've found I can connect to them via usb just fine without drivers, at least in MacOS. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
Hi All, Am really struggling with stereo imaging with my Osborn speakers. I have put them in similar place to my old speakers (slightly further out from rear walls) and didn't have too much issue with getting vocals slap bang in the middle. Currently it is slightly skewed to the left. EDIT: (However, just now listening to Tim McGraw - Southern Girl I think.. after slightly toeing in the right speaker a bit more it seems to have improved.. could be the way I am sitting though? is that even possible? 1) Can I have recommendations of vocal tracks which are mixed with the vocals coming slap bang in the middle. Best way to test Then 2) Ideas for ever so slight repositioning of speakers (at 45kgs each it's a bugger and I have the spikes on them) also my wife is out so if I can do it before she gets back then play dumb if she asks have they moved I can just say no.. no. Thanks Roh
