  2. Item: AMR DP777SE with Gemini cable Location: Brisbane Price: 4700 ONO Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: Not used Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Bank Transfer Extra Info: Ive now got a pair of avantgarde zeros so the amr is redundant. I was going to keep it for a second system but I doubt I'll ever get around to it so it time to let it go Ive had a couple of questions about which version this is so just to clarify, this is the "signature" edition. Some people seem to think the version with the quad board upgrade or USB board upgrade is the SE "signature" edition, it isnt. The signature is a complete overhaul of the previous version which was the base model with a quad board upgrade. Pictures:

Very well looked after and has been connected through filtered UPS power since new. Primarily used as a USB DAC and for blu-ray playback. Recently upgraded to an Oppo 203 and external DAC combo. It has been a fantastic unit and I love the sound. I had planned on keeping it but the reality is I've no room for a second system, as such have finally decided to part with it. There is a slight mark on the top as shown in the picture. Includes the remote, USB wireless adapter and power cable. 5. Item: (Relisted) LH Labs Pulse XFi Infinity DAC (chassis 1) and LPS1 optional Linear Power Supply Location: Forestville NSW Price: $850 + postage Item Condition: Used, no scratches Reason for selling: Too many DACs and need to rationalise Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal Extra Info: For sale is my LH Labs (originally known as Geek) Pulse XFi Infinity, and the optional Linear Power Supply. It is the original chassis version. I purchased this via the Indiegogo launch of this product. The Indiegogo project is notorious for its delays and missed deadlines, but in the end I feel they delivered a great product. It has a ESS 9018AQ2M DAC. I'd picked all the upgrade options to make it the Infinity version, which includes a Femto clock. Balanced and single ended headphone out, happily used all headphones I threw at it (LCD3, AKG Q701, Bayer T90). The LPS provides the 12V required for the Pulse. It also provides 5V with USB connector - you can either have your main USB with passthrough the LPS to clean up the power, or use the 5V with a split USB cable to provide the "handshake". Another option which is handy is to use the 5V to power another device (USB to barrel connectors are easy to find). I'd include the after-market power cable I purchased from Revelation Audio, plus a LH Labs Lightspeed 1 USB cable (1m length) Link to the user manual https://support.lhlabs.com/support/solutions/articles/5000547879-owner-s-manual-geek-pulse For disclosure purposes, there is a small chip on the plastic power output cable holder - not really a problem, but just be aware that the clip on the cable can wobble if knocked. Update since last listing: I replaced the plastic clip holder with a barrel connector (work done by Kimil Electronics whilst I was doing other repairs) which works much better. I have a different Revelation Audio barrel connector cable which I will include instead. And a reminder it comes with an Apple remote, Pictures:
  6. Need a bit of advise, my current setup consist of an integrated amp with in-build DAC. It accepts the following connections: - AES/EBU input - S/P Diff coaxial input X2 - Toslink input - USB input I am not interested in hooking up a laptop/nuc/mac mini with the integrated DAC. What are my options? I do have a Cambridge Stream Magic V2, Normally I just use the App on Android to: 1.) Stream Spotify 2.) Browse my Plex DLNA library and stream flac files I can do the above via Bubble UPNP or the native Cambridge app. The streamer is connected to my amp via balanced out. It also have coaxial/toslink out as well. So, is it possible to connect the streamer to the in-build DAC via Toslink or coaxial and let the streamer handle the fetching and control? Not sure the Cambridge DAC will process any incoming stream. Ideally it should pass thru the stream and let onboard DAC in the amp to do all the D/A conversation. So, all I left to do is a nice clean interface on the phone or tablet app. Not a big fan to constant tweaking/updating/maintenance of a PC. The other option I am thinking is to acquire a Raspberry Pi and install Volumio or other similar distribution with have DLNA and Spotify functionalities. Volumio app is also available for on Android platform I think. No daughter board DAC with the Pi just plan old "mini PC" with USB to external DAC. Doable?

Basically a M-DAC that also plays CD's as a bonus rather than a traditional CD player. 2x Optical inputs, 2x Coaxial inputs, 1x USB input, Balanced or RCA output. I have almost exclusively used this as a DAC, it would be lucky to have seen a dozen CD's in its life as I had ripped my CD collection to HDD the year before purchase. I use a Harmony universal remote so this remote may have only been used for the first couple of days then stashed away.
