Hi everyone, I'm looking to buy a micro hi-fi system for my bedroom and I've narrowed down my search to two models: - Denon D-M40 DAB (w/ SC-M40 speakers) - RRP $999, Best price $877 - Yamaha MCR-N560D (w/ NS-BP182 speakers) - RRP $849, Best price $569 I'm leaning toward the Yamaha given its cheaper price, plus it has network functionality that the Denon doesn't. However if the Denon offered significantly better sound quality over the Yamaha, I'd lean back toward paying the extra for the Denon. Does anyone here have any hands-on experience with either of these systems, or have an idea of what the difference in sound quality might be between the two systems? Or is there a better model, or alternately a better option altogether, that I should be looking at instead? Here are my requirements: - Reasonable sound quality. - Digital radio. - Decent quality line-in (from computer - for listening to MP3/FLAC, watching movies, etc). - Ideally priced around $750 or less. - Compact size. Ideally no wider than 20cm or so. The following would be nice to have, but aren't deal breakers: - Play MP3/FLAC from external HD/network. - Internet radio / streaming. - Play CDs. Any advice anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hi all, Our little Signature i90 seem to have been a big hit at the Australian Audio & AV Show in Melbourne. Thanks for all the feedback and the positive posts in that thread. Those who experienced them already know how good they are, however we are getting lots of enquiries about from people who haven't heard them yet but have heard the 'buzz' about them. Their regular price is $999each in black or white. On orders taken from the 3 days between right now up to and including this Friday 8 Nov I'll do them for $699each. So why am I doing this? Well, firstly because it's my company and I can. Secondly it would be good if a few more owners could help those who haven't heard them yet do so. Pictures & data sheets attached. Taking orders on Signature i90 for $699 each for 3 days. Go. FreeCall 1800 818 882 or email email@example.com Philip EMAIL - Signature i90 & i49.pdf EMAIL - Signature i90 Preliminary Information.pdf
Hello SNA members! Finally, after lengthy contemplation, decided to put these up for sale. Got the upgrade bug!! Damn expensive hobby this They are in immaculate condition, had them for about six months. So they are just run in now. Have the original box, instructions and receipt. They've always sat on top of some Atacama SL600 speaker stands on Atacama gel pads, so the underside of the speaker is as immaculate as the top and sides. They've been in my room in a pet and smoke free environment. My price is firm, so please no offers. I'm happy to deliver anywhere in Melbourne, for country Victoria and the rest of Australia, postage is at your cost, and your responsibility. Outside of Australia, sorry, I won't sell overseas. $25 dollar donation to SNA when I get payment for the speakers...
