Up for sale is my beloved CD-94 MK2 CD player with the legendary Philips TDA1541A S1 Single Crown DACs (pictured.) To all audiophiles and Hi-Fi enthusiasts this DAC model will have meaning as it is one of the best DAC chipsets ever produced to this day. This 16bit DAC has an incredibly smooth sound and is the reason I purchased the unit in the first place. This is a black player with glossy black timber side panels and is in superb condition for a player of this age. It is in perfect working order and is in great physical condition (8 out of 10) with no major marks or scratches and the LCD display is bright with all segments are working beautifully. The product is supplied with the original instruction manual and remote control, both of which are in superb condition. Grab it before I change my mind!!! Well what can I say... except that it's a thing of beauty. You know the saying, they just don't make 'em like they used to. Well that goes for this classic Marantz tuner. Had it running last night and it has a warm sound while casting a wide soundstage with lots of detail. I was surprised how good it sounds. Haven't listened to it for ages and my system has improved dramatically since I bought this tuner. It's in great condition considering its age. A few light marks on top and a couple of small bumps in the top edge of the fascia, but not really noticeable unless you're looking for it. Most importantly, all the lights on the display work, including the needle which is used for tuning. This would look great on your equipment rack next to other classic Marantz gear, or a nice tube setup! Pictures:

Further information: Altec 605b 15 inch dual concentric classic speakers in large boxes built by cabinet maker. Some scratches to paintwork but still present well. One driver has a very slight repair(see pic). I imported these from the U.S. separately and are hard to find in Australia. Comes with the n-1600 crossovers. They can come with stands to raise them 25 cm. Pictured but not included in this sale are GPA crossovers that can be purchased for $300 extra. Pick up essential unless you want the drivers only and then I would consider posting. Impressive sound .

Limited-edition 180gm translucent red & orange 2LP vinyl. Audio from 2014's remaster of the original stereo masters. Includes 12 page booklet containing photographs, lyrics, and credits. Brilliant copy with only damage along the bottom edge (one large 2cm chunky bump and hole at left, one smaller centrally to the right) through the shrink. Further information: Today, we have for sale an immaculate Pro-Ject The Classic turntable in the Eucalyptus finish, with an Ortofon 2M Black attached. First off - I'm willing to separate these. Absolute classic series. The original Macross what this was based upon predates Transformers. This series was responsible for the anime/manga boom in the 90's. I've included Macross Plus as well. Item: Yamaha PF-800 Turntable, immaculate, boxed w/ manuals. 3 cartridges, 100+ nice LPs Location: Penrith Area Price: $1500 ONO Condition: Excellent Description: Here we have a Yamaha PF-800 turntable in immaculate condition. It comes boxed with manuals. One of the finest turntables that Yamaha ever produced, with a fantastic float suspension system and a 2-part platter, consisting of an aluminium outer platter and a zinc inner platter (combined weight is a tad over 2kg). Basic automatic features, but very reliable (I could name a few classics which don't fare too well in the reliability department!). There are very few pieces of gear out there that actually appreciate over time: the PF-800 and the PF-1000 were never released widely, so numbers are scarce. Numbers in this sort of condition would be miniscule. The difference between the two models is very subtle: The PF-800's inner platter is Zinc, while the PF-1000's inner platter is Gunmetal. They also had different colour options. They're virtually interchangeable, quality-wise, and both are among some of the finest vintage turntables available today. You'll see plenty of discussions about these models online; many prefer it to choice models from the period, including the Linn LP-12. What's included: --- The turntable, boxed with manuals in fantastic conditon --- a Shure V15 IV phono cartridge, boxed --- a Shure V15 V-P phono cartridge, boxed --- an Audio-Technica AT33e cartridge, boxed ---Two well-kept crates of LPs. Item: B & W DM 17 Boofkshef Speakers Location: Mosman NSW Price: 350 Item Condition: used but well restored and look amazing! Reason for selling: Too may speakers!!! as exclaimed by she who must be obeyed! Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: This pair of DM17 's has been lovingly stripped back and shellacked from the black ash veneer it once had. Also, as far as I could tell from the photos taken, and the sticker on the back, these were internally professionally rewired with monster cable. All else is original. The crossover network is like nothing I've previously seen, occupying virtually the entire base area of the cabinet. There's plenty on the net about these and in particular their smooth yet precise response across the whole spectrum. The base of the cabinets have pre-drilled 1/4" threaded holes which were used for securing to the original stands. I found a set of spikes which fitted perfectly so can include if you can use them These are not much larger than your average bookshelf, but they are HEAVY so I'm afraid it's for only those that can pick up.
