  5. Further information: Up for sale is a Chord Mojo amp/DAC purchased in February 2020. It is in excellent condition, and has always been used in a Dignis leather case (which is included in this listing). Never used while charging (this creates excess heat on the battery from the FPGA chip, leading to shorter battery lifetime). Also included are two hard to find interconnects: a sturdy USB A to Micro USB cable with ferrite choke to reduce EMF inteference (the Mojo picks up buzz from mobile phones easily), and a hard to find Astell & Kern USB C to Micro USB cable. Both cables are hard to find and were imported from Japan to make the Mojo easier to use with portable sources. Original micro-USB cable and packaging not included as they were lost. RRP of included items: Chord Mojo: $799 Dignis Laetus Leather Case: $119 A&K USB Type-C to Micro 5pin OTG Cable (PEE12): Approx. $40 Elecom USB A to Micro Cable w/ ferrite choke: Approx $15 Items will be shipped by Australia Post Express with insurance.
  6. Further information: Purchased new this highly regarded & reviewed DAC/Headphone amp after initial RCA positioning issue rectified. Some original accessories included, power unit, optical digital & USB cables No original packaging but unit is easily boxed for transport per Australia Post standard freight including insurance. 9. No pickup or audition available - shipping only. I have included an allowance in the price which should cover shipping and insurance. Further information: I have enjoyed listening to music via roon using the Hugo M Scaler paired with the Hugo TT2 DAC on my main system for several months. However recently I added an Antipodes EX server and tried the Antipodes built-in analog outputs, despite Antipodes themselves suggesting the use of a separate DAC (I quote from the Antipodes website: “We have added one notable feature to the EX, a good sounding stereo analog output. Customers moving from a CD Player can start with the EX and play direct to their amplifier, and leave adding a high quality USB DAC till later.”) After a few weeks of comparison I ended up concluding that the "good sounding" Antipodes analog output was equal to the Chord combination, in my personal opinion, and so therefore I could potentially simplify my main system and remove two units from the signal path. As a result I will be keeping the TT2 as a headphone amp for roon via bluetooth APTX, and the M Scaler is now surplus to my requirements. I purchased the M Scaler new just over 1 year ago. It will be shipped with original packaging (box in a box with foam supports) including mains power adaptor, dual BNC cables, IR remote control, and an optical cable. I will also include two BNC to RCA adaptors which can be used for BNC S/PDIF Coax to non-Chord DACs. There was no paper manual when I purchased it, as the manual is on the Chord website: https://chordelectronics.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Hugo-M-Scaler-User-Manual.pdf. Features: Connectivity (input): 1x Galvanically isolated Type-B USB, 2x Coax BNC and 2x Optical Connectivity (output): 1x Galvanically isolated dual BNC (enables upscaling to the maximum 768kHz), 1x BNC S/PDIF and 1x Optical Dual BNC connectivity only with Chord DACs Can be paired with non-Chord DACs, however upscaling limited to 384kHz from 192kHz input, however pass-thru remains up to 768kHz . PCM support: 44.1kHz, 48kHz, 88.2kHz, 96kHz, 176.4kHz, 192kHz, 358.8kHz, 384kHz, 705.6 and 768kHz – 16 to 32bit Driver support: Driverless with Mac OS X and Linux, driver required for Windows OS FPGA: Xilinx XC7A200T Filter tap length: 1,015,808 WTA taps Dimensions: 4cm (H) 23.5cm (W) 23.8cm (D) Weight: 2.55kg Adjustable sample rate output (with pass-thru mode) - four settings with different results depending on source and connectivity options Video mode (for lower latency) Auto video and source selection Dimmable lights (2 light levels) Remote Control for input selection, output sample rate, video mode and mute. 15. Extra Info: I purchased this from a SNA member around Christmas 2019 to drive my headphones. But I also bought a Woo Audio dac/amp at the same time. So I need to sell some Dac to get funding. The RRP was $6,800, and currently having a sale on Apollohifi for $4,499. I am priced it for sale. This unit is heavier than it looks like and packaged with a lot of high tech. 21. Item: Chord Chorus 2 XLR Interconnect cables (3 x 1 metre pairs) Location: Kariong 2250 (i.e. Central Coast, 25mins drive north of Sydney's Wahroonga up the M1) Price: $220 for each 1m pair, or $600 for the lot Item Condition: V.Good Reason for selling: Surplus to requirements. Redirect funds towards other gear (it never ends, you know what it's like) Payment Method: Pickup - Cash (from Kariong, Pymble or North Sydney), Paypal, Australia Parcel/Sachel Post Extra Info: I have 3 x pairs of these to sell. Each pair is 1 metre in length. Can't find any fault with these cables, i.e. outer sheath, XLR connectors etc all look fine. Little bit of fading of the Chord Chorus 2 lettering but of course that is simply superficial and expected over time. Made a significant improvement in sound quality when used with my Cary Audio Cinema C12 Prepro / 7.250 Power Amp. I have upgraded again since to much more expensive cables (well of course, you know how it is). Years ago these use to be list price: $950 per 1m XLR pair (Source - Google: Synergy Audio Price list Dec. 2008). Surplus to my needs and I will be liquidating more gear to redirect funds towards other gear (well of course, you know how it is). One option is you might want to purchase all 3 pairs and use them for your Home Theatre Prepro/Power Amp if it has all balanced channels. Will offer them for less in that case ($600 for all 3 x pairs). There is only 1 x box. I think the boxes for the others were thrown out accidentally when moving house over a year ago as I cannot locate them. I'm sure the boxes will turn up unexpectedly a week after it sells. Probably with the other boxes mounted on top of each other all over the garage. That's how life is. The 1st pair that sells will get the box, the others will be wrapped/packaged using Australia Post (Parcel/Satchel) or shipper of buyer's choice since the buyer will be paying for shipping. Box isn't in great condition anyway. Came out 2nd best against the other much bigger boxes. More than happy for buyer(s) to pickup from either Kariong 2250, Pymble 2073 or North Sydney, 2060, the latter 2 being my work locations and thus office hours pickup. Cheers Jim Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
