  1. Bought with my Yamaha PF800. Great sound, it is as they say musical. Then I changed my phono stage and tried some MC cartridges and am now looking to upgrade to next level. Comes with a Cartridge container for safe shipping. 2. In as new condition, Cartridge has done less than 20 hrs of play time. Always played on clean records. It was installed on my second arm. I will add a close up stylus photo later today
  3. Further information: EMT's cream of the crop cartridge. Sound is clear, precise, and beguiling. Like the clouds went away and the sky is crystal clear and the sun in shining. Heavy unit at 18g. Diamond, alnico, gold plated. Purchased new about 3 years ago from Australia supplier - first installed 11/2/17. Last installed was 9/12/19. Total logged hours is 536 hours (yes written down and recorded for this unit since purchasing) - but listening hours would be far less - probably half of this - say 300 real hours of listening. Not used often enough. Burn in happened around 75 hours - so at 300ish hours of use its not far off new. This cart is east to setup and align given its design. EMT is one of the great analog companies with a rich and long history of great achievements. I fell in love with the company after obtaining this cart. Item is complete as shown in the pics. Photos:
  4. Further information: An early example of Kondo design Audio Note io mc phono cartridge. I purchased this from Japan and had the cartridge checked and retipped by ANA Mighty sound in France. Retipped with Van del haul stylus. Damper have been checked and suspension rebuilt. Coil is silver original. So this is literally a New cartridge. Played for about 20 hours for testing since rebuilt. They are quite rare and hardly come up for sale. The cost of the rebuilt alone is in excess of $2000. I have quite a few cartridges so just have to let go some to better home. Known as one of the best low output mc cartridge designed by Kondo san. Output 0.1 mv with 1 ohm impedance so will work with a minimum of x30 step up ratio and high gain phono stage. ANA mighty sound is highly reputable cartridge repairer and builder in France. Their Sculpture A3 cartridges were used by Thomas Schick, Frank Schroeder in Sibatone (western electric), Vitus and Thrax demo rooms among others in the recent 2019 Munich high end show. Additional info for those interested: http://anamightysound.com/ https://www.tonepublications.com/analogaholic/ana-mighty-sound/ François from Ana mighty have repaired and rebuilt Koetsu and SPU for me previously. They are always careful to ensure the original sound signature of the cartridge design are retained, especially for the classics like koetsu and AN/Kondo. Note: headshell Not included in the sale. 5. Further information: For sale is this fantastic cartridge that offers an insight into the incredible work an MC cartridge can do, even to those whose preamp only supports MM. I purchased this cartridge new ($680 USD) and then it had about 150 hours on it before I accidentally bent the cantilever. I sent it away for retipping by one of the world's preeminent tippers - Peter Lederman at Soundsmith in the US ($350 USD). He installed the Ruby Cantilever with Nude Contact Line stylus, definitely an upgrade from the original. While it was away I bought a temporary replacement (Ortofon 2M bronze - recently sold to @joz.) At the same time I ordered an AT 33 PTGii based on reviews on best cartridge for my new turntable - a VPI Prime courtesy of @Krispy Audio along with the Manley Chinook I bought off @WhoRu?. The DV came back from the upgrade in the States (when international travel was safe...!!!) and I used it very sparingly as I had already changed my turntable and phone preamp, and chosen a cartridge that rocked my system. This particular cartridge has roughly 100 hours (see pics). Grab yourself an extraordinarily capable and entrancing cartridge. I'm aiming much higher up the MC chain so am told by my wife to let go of my many audio 'spares'. Happy listening. Muzz Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.

  7. Further information: Bought this cartridge when I purchased a MoFi UltraDeck turntable less than 2 years ago. The cart and cantilever are in excellent condition. The stylus will need re-tipping. It's had about 900hrs of use and starting to show. This cart goes for around $899RRP. $190 is very reasonable. Retipping will cost around $160 - $220 UltraTracker Highlights UltraTracker extracts immense amounts of detail, dynamics, tone, and texture from LPs. Literally made to live in records’ grooves, the configuration gives this cartridge innate advantages few others can claim at this price. MoFi cartridges are designed by looking at where a record starts: On a cutting lathe like the model used at Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab. UltraTracker features a V-Twin dual-magnet generator that mirrors the layout of the cutting head that originally makes a record’s grooves. Employing two low-mass, powerful magnets aligned in a V formation parallel with the record grooves, this cartridge features excellent tracking ability. V-Twin dual-magnet generator Nude Elliptical stylus Well-damped billet aluminum body 3.5mV output WELL-DAMPED BILLET ALUMINUM BODY The well-damped billet aluminum body controls resonances for tight, accurate bass reproduction. UltraTracker delivers finely tuned wide-bandwidth audio, with extension at both frequency extremes and no smearing of detail. NUDE-ELLIPTICAL DIAMOND STYLUS By using a nude-elliptical diamond stylus, UltraTracker easily tracks complex dynamic passages. You’ll hear superb detail and experience musical emotionalism that will send shivers down your spine. 8. Further information: Great Sounding cartridge, but I’m no long playing Vinyl. Price includes postage Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  9. Further information: has done less than 30 hours as it was a backup to my existing cart. Decided to upgrade my existing cart and use it as backup. I found the E3 to be very close in sound and performance to the Ortofon 2m Blue I used to have and left the Nagaoka MP-110 in the dust detail wise. 10. Extra Info: purchased this from SNA. Since the purchased I haves added a phasemation pp1000, miyajima Shilabe and a shelter mono to my cart collection. So it have been played very little. The 200 hrs play time is probably an overestimation . Played on Thales simplicity arm and Briefly on Ortofon 12 inch arm. All my records are cleaned with KL Audio RCM. The Kuzma Car cartridges are presumed to be make by My Sonic Labs in Japan. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  11. Item: High end MC Cartridge: Ortofon or Brinkmann/EMT or equivalent Price Range: 2Kish Item Condition: Low hours in top condition Extra Info For a Brinkmann LaGrange Turntable/arm
  12. Item: Garrott P77 Cartridge with headshell Location: Perth, free postage Price: 220 Item Condition: looks ok Reason for selling: amps inbuilt phono not really compatible Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, Direct Deposit Extra Info: I picked this up with a turntable with the intent to install it on my main rig. Unfortunately the amps inbuilt phono stage doesn't play nice with it's low output and i don't have any means to adjust. I don't know exactly how old it is. I have tried it on another system and it sounds great. I will throw in a headshell from my old turntable to ensure that is safely shipped in the box for the new cartridge I bought. 13. Item: Technics EPC-100c MM cartridge Location: Terang Vic Price: $1300 firm, including postage Australia wide. Item Condition: Excellent, the only flaw is a small crack in the clear stylus guard, shown in the photo. Reason for selling: Does not fit my linear tonearm. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: I sent this cartridge to VDH late last year for re-tipping. It has a brand new VDH type 1 nude diamond in a new Boron cantilever. Van den Hul himself uses an EPC-100 as one of his reference cartridges they are that good. I discovered this while talking to Nick from Carlton AV who is the Aussie VDH cartridge dealer. It is unused as I had moved to a linear tonearm before the cartridge arrive back. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  14. I have a Rega Planar 25 turntable that I bought second hard years ago from someone who is a bit of an audiophile. It doesn't get a lot of use, but eventually the day will come that I need a new stylus. I suspect that day is fairly close. I have absolutely no idea about this stuff, and what it's got is hardly plug-and-play. There's not even any sort of make/model code on it as far as I can see. Looks like it would have to be very manually removed and reinstalled, and has some very small fiddly looking copper(?) connectors. Don't know how many pics I can attach. Going to try all six I took earlier today to show it from as many angles as I can. I'm in Wellington New Zealand. Where would I go for a new stylus? How would I describe what one (or type of one) I need? What sort of price am I looking at? Then there's the question of actually trying to remove the current one and install the new one. Looks like I'd have to remove the arm as there's not enough room to work with to unscrew whats there and screw in a new one. I can't see any other way to do it. So, as I said and as you can tell, I've got absolutely no idea about this stuff. Seems to me that I don't have a terribly easy turntable when it comes to this. Thanks in advance for whatever useful info anyone can provide. Glenn

Item: Kiseki NS Blue Moving Coil Cartridge Location:Melbourne Price: $1500 (RRP $3000) Item Condition: Used, Perfect condition, about 30 albums Reason for selling: upgraded Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, direct deposit Extra Info: I've had this on my secondary deck for about six months, that's why its low on hours. Not even properly run-in I'm selling it because I got the opportunity to get a factory rebuilt Ortofon Jubilee. Forced upgrades, what can you do? Its a thing of beauty and one of the fastest sounding carts I've came across, at any price. My favorite bit of Kiseki trivia- the diamond is polished using a human hair.
