Further information: This cartridge has had somewhere between 100 to 150 hours use and is in perfect condition. I can't remember the exact retail price when purchased new but from memory it was around $2500 give or take. I'm selling simply because I decided to upgrade to a different cartridge. This wasn't due to any outright criticism of the Pi itself but simply due to that never ending "itch" to always try and improve on what you've got! IMHO it's a fantastic all round cartridge - nicely balanced and superbly detailed. As you can see from the photos the cantilever is in perfect condition. Included are the stylus cleaning brush, standard fastening screws which come in two lengths and a pair of washers. Specs from Brinkmann website: Type Moving Coil Weight 14 g Stylus microridge, radius 3 µm Compliance 15 µm/mN Tracking force 1,8 g Vertical tracking angle 23° Output voltage 0,15 mV (velocity 1 cm/sec) Output impedance 20 Ohm Load (recommended) 600 Ohm Frequency response 0 Hz....30 kHz Frequency intermodulation 0,5 % Crosstalk 25 dB (1 kHz) Photos: PLEASE READ If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you are advertising multiple items, you must post one bulk price only, or post seperate ads for each item If you don't include photographs of the actual item being sold, your ad will not be approved You understand that a reasonable donation for selling fees is expected upon successful sale of your item - if you have previously sold items and not made a donation, your advertisement may not be approved.

Further information: I bought this a year ago, put about 10 hours on it and have never used it since. Why is this you ask? It's not a good match for my Clearaudio TT, especially with the isolator, I can't get enough height on the arm. And seing as I have sold the bulk of what was my main hifi I ended up sticking this in the drawer and forgetting about it. I did then take off the isolator and tried it on my Sony Linear Tracking TT but it seemed a bit overkill for the TT and the phono amp Im using it with. This model is about $3,000 new so pick up a bargain for half of that. Always has excellent reviews: Review Extracts " ...The Classic’s balance of natural timbre, realistic stereophony, and simply spell-binding replication of the What and How of instrumental playing leads to a musically communicative immersion into the art of the music that is unparalleled in my 34-year history with phono cartridges...'. "...The MusicMaker Classic is the exemplar for communication of the artistic intent, musical expressiveness, and true-to-life sonic reproduction of musical performances. As such, its value is priceless. Its $1750 USD price, allied to the fact that ancillary components of roughly similar price will reveal its stupendous abilities, means that true music lovers will actually be able to own and experience it without the irrational “Soak the Rich” perversities of The High End." ... the MusicMaker Classic is a true masterpiece. It is a privilege to introduce this wonderful cartridge to all music lovers. It is a classic in all senses of the word. Paul Szabady , Stereo Times. Photos:

Item: Benz Micro Glider SL Location: Lane Cove, NSW Price: $850 plus postage Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: Upgraded to different cartridge Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: I purchased this cartridge second hand off StereoNET member scuzzii a few years ago. It had very low usage when I bought it and I only used it for a few weeks while waiting for a new cart to arrive. I would say playing time is less than 60 hours, probably closer to 50. After this brief period of usage by myself it has been in a cupboard in its box. As you can see in the photos it comes in original factory packaging and all the bits and pieces. If you require any further info please don't hesitate to get in touch. Pictures:
