  1. Hello friends, Started using Fiio E17 as DAC to my stereo listening with vintage Rotel Amp. Currently connected mobile using 3.5mm jack out from to Fiio AUX in to fed source from Tidal. Which is 14/48khz Now wish to fed from mobile 3.5 mm jack/ android USB C to Fiio S/PIDF in. So it will fed 24/96. Do we have wire with like 3.5mm to S/PDIF in or USB C to S/PDIF in. Along with DAC I got few connectors attached images Any help will be much helpful. Excuse me if it's a invalid question. Thanks
  2. Hello Geoff, I have noticed you stock Fibbr cables! I just wanted to say G'day and tell you that I have used these cables before , when using long HDMI cables (10m +) there is always the unknown and the last thing you want is a cable that drops picture every now and then because you are pushing the limits of the bandwidth when playing 4K content, the Fibbr cables are amazing, not only are they extremely robust with an incredible bend radius, they just don't drop out! Anyways, thought I'd add my 2 cents, BTW - have you got some specials on ATM? I will be down your way soon and I might pick up some cables when I visit the new store
  3. Item: Focal Clear + Questyle CMA400i + Questyle stand + 1.2m aurealis 24 gauge litz xlr cable + matching XLR to 2.5m adaptor + 5m audioquest evergreen USB cable. Location: 2030, Sydney Price: $2200 AUD + $100 for postage and paypal fees if delivery needed Item Condition: 9/10 - Pads a tiny bit darker than stock but have been regularly cleaned. Reason for selling: Introduced to Vintage Stax Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: The focal clear was originally purchased 24/05/19 (invoice available at request). Both drivers were replaced in the focal clear on 19/10/19 due to rattling in the left driver when playing tracks with low frequency content (rma and image of box available at request). Questyle CMA400i originally purchased 26/08/19 from minidisc (invoice available at request). Questyle Stand originally purchased 14/10/19 from minidisc (invoice available at request). Aurealis cable (UPOCC copper Litz 24 awg. Amphenol 3.5 mm TRS at headphone end, Amphenol 4-pin XLR (AX4M) at source end) Originally Purchased 25/10/19 Aurealis xlr adaptor (UPOCC copper Litz 24 awg with matching amphenol xlr connector) purchased some time after the regular xlr cable. Invoice unavailable. Audioquest USB cable was purchased soon after the Questyle CMA400i. The Questyle did not come with a stock USB cable. The focal clears have a nice sound-stage. Not artificially wide like the HD800, but not narrow either. It has a laid back and relaxed sound that you can listen to for hours without being fatigued. They are quite easy to drive which makes them quite portable, easily runs off a DAP. The sound is quite spectacular in this pairing. I spent quite some time demo'ing various amplifiers at minidisc before settling with the CMA400i. It has a very beautiful and emotional sound to it, easily driving the clears with its Current mode tech. Please note, all three of the stock cables broke with audio missing from one channel. Reading online, this was a very common occurrence and frankly the stock cables were extremely irritating to use in the first place. New value of this package is $2200 + $1300 + $100 + $355 + $85 + $140 = $4280 Kind Regards, Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  4. Being an audio visual and technology fan, one tends to have many devices and of course lots of cables to go along with it. So in my listing/watching entertainment unit i have a mess of cables behind. I tried once before to reorganize and manage them better but it's still a disaster back there and over time i have added and removed devices making it even more of a mess, not to mention the potential for interference between cables etc. due to coils. Therefore i believe that the best course of action is to pull every cable out and start over. So my question is would it be best making all cables custom myself to the exact lengths? As to remove all excess. If so is there like a universal type of connection method? Or am I going to have to buy a termination tool for each type of connection? ie. Hdmi, usb, rca, power, ethernet etc. Or is there some better way to organize cables that I'm overlooking? What do you do to organize your cables? Or is it out of sight out of mind type thing? Thought i would ask you guys before i started researching about cables and connectors and the tools to terminate said cable's/connectors. Thanks in advance. i will now commence the Googles while i await your replies 😁

  7. Item: Graham Slee Lautus interconnects (RCA), 1.5m pair with ground (1.5 is sold) and 4.5m pair. Location: Perth Price: $180, free post within Aus. Donation to SNA. Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: no longer needed. Payment Method: EFT, PayPal Extra Info: I had both of these cables made up for me by Graham Slee in England. The Lautus is an OFC cable with ferrite nodes along the length. The website will tell you more about how they’re built. I don’t know how the magic of the ferrite nodes work, but I like them. In my system, I found these cables to be be very open, with a warm mid to lower mid that really suits vox and acoustic instruments, and crisp, light, airy highs. A really deep and wide soundstage. They are a little more relaxed than some of my other cables. Nothing harsh or boomy or in-your-face about them at all IMO. The 1.5m was made up for my turntable at the time, and it has a grounding wire, but it can be used in any position in the chain. It’s not a specialty turntable cable. (1.5 is Sold) The 4.5m suited a run I needed between a phono stage and amp (but now don’t). The cable suited that long run well. The insulated silver wires make up a cable where conductors are formed in [tri:form]â„¢ geometry and connected in balanced single ended configuration (for RCA terminations) or balanced configuration (for XLR /Cannon terminations). The pure silver is tested after forming into the wire for purity at an independant laboratory, and must be at least ten thousand times more pure than pure sterling silver to conform to OPENâ„¢ interconnect cablestandard. Each cable set has a certificate of silver purity, issued after the metallurgical tests for each batch, currently carried out at Boeing Aerospace laboratory. The importance of using pure silver is that silver is the best conductor at room temperatures, providing the least resistance to the signal transfer. The extraordinary purity of OPEN silver gives unrestrained and uniform propagation of electric field and to flow of electrons within the conductors. OPENâ„¢ - the closest conductor to no conductor at all. The insulator around the pure silver wire is genuine Teflon (trade mark of Du Pont). Use of genuine teflon material gives assurance of continuous high quality from batch to batch. All insulators inhibit fast change of voltage within conductors, and consequently affect the sound in audio cables.Teflon has one of the lowest influence on the sound (together with dry paper, dry cotton and polypropylene). OPENâ„¢ - the closest insulator to no insulator at all. [tri:form]â„¢ cable geometry provides very low interaction between conductors, giving the least influence to transfer of audio signal. This feature is measured as cable capacitance, and measures 30pF per meter of OPEN cable. We do not know of any other cable that has such low capacitance. OPENâ„¢ - the closest to having no capacitance at all. All OPENâ„¢ interconnect cables are shielded from interference that may be present in the surrounding space, in order to provide fine resolution and detail to even the quietest music passages. OPENâ„¢ - the closest to no background noise at all. Balanced single ended configuration means that both signal and signal return conductors are treated as signal wires (and not as signal and ground), and both are made from pure solid silver. Most other cables are of coaxial design, which is best suited for antenna cables. For audio, the best RCA design is OPENâ„¢ balanced single ended. OPEN â„¢- designed for audio. Balanced signal consists of two signal wires, and above listed [tri:form]â„¢ features are ideal for XLR / Cannon interconnect cables. All OPENâ„¢ interconnect cables are very flexable, despite being made from solid silver, thanks to [tri:form]â„¢ geometry.

  21. Item: Monitor Audio Gold Reference 20 Rosewood Location:Casino Price: $2500 firm Item Condition:Excellent Reason for selling:Downsizing speaker size Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Just seeing if there is anyone out there interested in a pair of Monitor audio GR20 floorstanders. These are the Rosewood version with 2 ceramic mid and bass drivers and their ceramic gold tweeter, in pretty much as new condition complete with boxes, toolkit, and associated bits. These are a very desirable speaker on the second hand market, just look online. Whilst this speaker came with spikes I don't use them in favor of black marble plinth each weighing 30kg that sits underneath each speaker. These cost $200 each and put the speaker at the right height. I will also include two 2.5 metre lengths of the Audio Principe's top of the range cable. I have owned everything from Magneplanar to Duntech and settled on these. I'm only selling them as they will not suit the renovations we are having and had to downsize to Strada 2's. I also have a ProJect Ds2 100wpc power amplifier which I will list seperately. However both the speakers and amplifier can be has as a set for $3000 firm. If there is interest I will post pictures.
