The preamplifier has the optional Valve output stage module (along with solid state outputs), and 2 x balanced inputs and 2 x unbalanced inputs. Various optional modules are available including a Phono Stage, DAC and more inputs / outputs. I would prefer to sell as a complete set, which creates a beautiful synergy that works across all speakers I have used in this system. German designed and built by Udo Besser. I trialled many, many amplifiers before deciding on these and they're truly world class. You don't hear much about AVM in Australia, however in Europe they are most highly regarded. Gauder Akustik uses them exclusively with their speakers, and at Munich High End this year I counted no less than 6 x loudspeaker manufacturers using this Pre/Power combination to showcase their speakers. I highly recommend them. But as is always the case in this hobby, something presents itself and you get an itch you just have to scratch. Further information: This is unquestionably high end. It was my reference pre-amp along with the matching mono amplifiers which have also since been sold. Being modular in design, there are eight input and two output module slots. Note: I am selling the unit with 1 pair x XLR output, 1 x pair x RCA output, and 1 pair x XLR input only. You can then purchase your additional inputs/modules as required. I have confirmed with the new AVM Audio distributor in Australia that the new modules are now available. The PA8.2 model has recently been released which other than a headphone jack, is essentially just a firmware update - the clever thing about this is that by purchasing any of the new .2 modules, as soon as you plug one in it will update the main unit's firmware to the new .2 version also.
