  1. Extra Info: looking for Proac standmount - D2, D1, DB1, 1sc - though any considered. I would consider exchange for Proac D18 if anyone is interested.
  2. Further Information: Here's your chance to own a one owner pair of Proac Studio 125 speakers in great condition. A small scuff on one speaker as illustrated in the last pic.. furniture polish will easily sort. They are very musical, there's plenty of positive reviews online so no need for me to add any further. I bought these for rears to some ProAc Response 3.8's in a .1 SACD setup but I soon went back to stereo as I'm a bit of a vinyl junky so they've spent magority of their life in storage, they're about 18 years young. They sound great with either tube or solid state gear. I dont have the boxes so shipping isn't an option, collect sale only thanks.
  3. Further information: Lovely little speakers that are not getting the use that they deserve. I purchased these speakers via these classifieds and never really gelled with them. They do however have an almost cult like following amongst many users and consequently much information regarding their character is available online. Like all Proac Speakers these are British made from premium materials and components and their condition is excellent. These are the most recent, sealed (non-ported) version which can happily be placed against a rear wall. I'm selling these to feed another equally expensive hobby, mountain biking. 4. Hello fellow members, I'm thinking of swapping my ProAc K6 ebony with a pair of Magico S3 (Mk I or Mk II, add cash on either side depending on model) just to try a different kind of sound. So the price in the ad is added just because it's required. The speakers have been treated with as much love as one can since new and I have the original boxes, front grills and pallets. It's the K6 premium finish (ebony, came at higher price). 5. Item: ProAc Response 1SC in cherry Location: Clayton, Melbourne Price: $1350 $1250 $1200 plus postage Item Condition: 7/10 - see below for details. Reason for selling: Making space Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, Direct Deposit Extra Info: The venerable ProAc 1SC. I purchased these last year from another forum member. They are in reasonably good condition, but do have some minor marks scratches on sides and top of both speakers (only visible up close). There is no damage to any of the drivers or rubber surrounds. I'll post my detailed review soon, but in the meantime I'll say that these are a very capable standmount speaker with a sound that is enticing. The speakers do not have their original box, but will come safely packed. Auditions and pickup welcome, shipping within Australia should be $40-50. 6. Hello everyone and anyone. I have joined this community because I'm passionate about music being beautifully reproduced. Less than two years ago, I bought a pair of Proac D40 speakers and an Ecko valve amp, WV55SE but I've decided to go on a long trip and rent my house and so I'll sell my gear and cop the inevitable loss. I'll post an ad on the classifieds <snip> Cheers, Nick
  7. Item: Harbeth Super HL5 30th Anniversary Edition (Rosewood premium finish) PLUS Matching Skylan 18†Speaker stands Price: $old as a package (OR $old for the speakers and $old for the stands) Item Condition: As New. In Pristine/Perfect condition with all original packaging and documentation Location: Sydney (Inner West) Reason for selling: Moved to Active Setup with EQ to address significant room issues + plans to build dedicated music room have now been shelved Payment Method: Local Pickup - Cash, Paypal, Bank transfer. Extra Info: I purchased these new in June 2011 after hearing them at another member’s place and falling in love with the sound. The Skylans were purchased new in August 2011, assembled and then filled with about 20kg of rice (medium grain). The rice will be included, but no claims as their current edibility. The SHL5’s are magic and to my ears the absolute bees knees within Harbeth’s current range, with an effortless and majestic sense of scale that most smaller monitors cannot quite achieve, no matter how sorted. The proviso is that they need space in order to breathe (Caveat: have heard all bar the 40.1’s). They unfortunately did not work as well in my small room. They have been carefully boxed up and stored in the guest bedroom since January this year. (Original plan was to renovate and build a dedicated music room but those plans have now been canned.) I have just taken them out of the box to take these photos here and as you can see, they are in perfect condition, probably hardly run-in. The Harbeths and Skylans partner perfectly and are the recommended solution by Harbeth's Alan Shaw. I highly recommend this pairing and would much prefer to sell them together as a package. Review Link: http://app.audiogon.com/listings/full-range-harbeth-shl5-best-harbeth-for-classical-and-rock-2012-10-30-speakers-80109 Note: Pick up preferred. I can however help arrange couriers for Interstate buyers at cost. Pictures:

  9. Item: ProAc Studio 110 speakers Location: Clayton, Melbourne Price: $900 pickup or buyer pays postage Item Condition: Very good - a few marks on the corners (see pics) Reason for selling: Didn't suit my tastes Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, Direct Deposit Extra Info: I bought these a few weeks ago from another SNA member to try out but it seems they're not quite the sound that I was after. They're beautifully-made speakers; solid, heavy and good-looking. The sound can best be described as pleasant; nothing jumps out at you but they're enjoyable to listen to. They have a nice relaxed sound with a beautifully sweet treble response. This was one of those speakers where I realised that I'd been listening for an extended period without noticing - they just don't draw attention to themselves. These will come packaged in their original boxes (one for each speaker). Pictures:
  10. Have been bitten by the upgrade bug and am searching for new floor standers. Currently have a Vincent SV236MKii integrated valve hybrid and running Orpheus Aurora 3.3 speakers, which I am enjoying as I have had previous incarnations of this speaker, MkI and II. Folks advise me I could do a lot better speaker wise with this amp so am looking around for ideas. I really like the sound of the soft dome tweeters with the Orpheus and have heard good things about Dynaudio and proac. I play a variety of music from bebop and vocal jazz to electric blues to hard rock so am guessing it's hard to find an all rounder that will fit the bill. My budget is $2k to $3k. Any ideas welcome. I know I should probably go out and audition but my work sees me flitting from state to state every week so gives me little time to do this at the moment unfortunately. I am located in Brisbane and am often in Sydney.
