  1. Hi All, I was wondering whether it might be worth starting up an Antipodes Thread where all comments/questions/comparisons can be logged in one place? EDIT Update...will start off by listing all the reviews I have read: Current Models http://www.digitalaudioreview.net/2015/05/antipodes-audio-dx-music-server-review/ http://www.digitalaudioreview.net/2015/08/antipodes-audio-update-entry-level-ds-music-server/ http://www.stereophile.com/content/antipodes-dx-reference-music-server#sOHd6roMyrOroWAT.97 http://positive-feedback.com/audio-discourse/audio-ramblings-the-antipodes-dx-music-
  2. Further information: (Price is firm) Purchased this on SNA a couple of years ago for use when I was working away from home. I no longer require the Piccolo as I have a Lumin streamer and no longer work away. This is the version without the inbuilt DAC. The Aria app works fine, I would not say it is the best app in the world but it does render the album art quicking and as far as I can see, is a lot better than the Lumin app (I use the Linn app for the Lumin) There are Android and iOS versions. The Piccolo comes with an Asus CD drive for ripping your
  3. There is a few members moving across to MoOde as the software choice for Pi serve control. It has an excellent GUI, similar in some ways to Volumio but far better and much even better sounding. It is a mature produce with version 3.X.X up for download ($10) and 4.X.X up for release around Xmas. I felt it needed its own thread and hope it gets good support. Pi music servers are the next step from any type of computer server either desktop or laptop and really make them quite redundant. Pi servers being dedicated and quiet and a fraction the price of any other music server with ver
  4. I have played around with computer audio for a few years now and like many others, spent $$$ trying to perfect it. However I was always drawn back to the Accuphase DP-950 SACD spinner as a superior source . Recently I did some digging to see what was available from established, full range high-end audio companies to see if any had produced a top quality USB server. I came across the Esoteric N-03T , the only server that fit my criteria. It was launched in 2018 but for some reason hasn't been promoted ( or even stocked) in Australia so it slipped under the radar. Firs
  5. Further information: I bought this kit 2 months ago. It consists of: Intel NUC5CPYH NUC barebone Kit Kingston 4GB (1x 4GB) DDR3 1600MHz and Kingston A400 240GB 2.5" SATA III SSD All you need is an operating system, a monitor and a player to make it a music server in conjunction with your USB/optical DAC and your speakers. Due to its small footprint it is ideal for bedroom or study room. Please refer to manufacturer site for product details. Photos: PLEASE READ If you are advertising multiple items
