  1. Sydney Audio Club and Grover Notting – in partnership for a great event On August 21st the Sydney Audio Club will partner with Grover Notting for an afternoon of educational talks and music demonstrations. Frank Hinton is the CEO of Grover Notting, a major designer and manufacturer of studio speakers and equipment and also the Australasia distributor for Merging Technologies of Switzerland. Frank will bring the Grover Notting Code 1.5s, Code 4s and Code 5s along with a system from their extended bandwidth ‘Mastering Series’ complete with companion ‘Power Plants’. The overall theme of the Grover Notting presentation will be ‘optimum linearity’. (NADAC website at http://nadac.merging.com/) Frank is also organizing 10-15 of Australasia’s leading audio engineers and producers who will participate at some level to give us some insight into entertainment production and where it’s heading. Guests welcome, of course! When: Sunday August 21st, from 1:00 PM through to 5:00 PM Venue: The Johnson Hall in the Crows Nest Centre (CNC) at 2 Ernest Place, Crows Nest.
