  1. Further Information: Original owner of both the speaker and stands, purchased from Australian dealer 07/06/2022 - and still remains under warranty. Offloading due to downsizing and change in direction. Both the speaker and stands comes with the factory packaging, manuals, power/ Lan cables and remote. Comes from a pet and smoke free home. Each speaker stand is also filled with 1 x 7.5kg of ATABITES (RRP 110 each) - this is included in the sale at the asking price only. I am looking to sell this as a set and not looking to split the sale unless I have separate buys confirmed for both. The regenerator, tv stand, UEF acoustic dots and Herbie Audio gliders are not included in the sale, however if interested in the UEF acoustic dots or Herbie Audio Gliders let me know. Local pickup in WA is preferred, however, have all the factory package in excellent condition for shipping. Shipping is at buyers risk and at agreed cost. Sellers fees is included at asking price. This is also advertised elsewhere.
  2. Used very lightly since I’ve had them. excellent condition and No issues whatsoever. Great sounding speakers with top streaming capabilities. Comes with box and all original cables. Only selling as I have moved to a Sonos based setup and they are now surplus to my needs. Note: sale is for the speakers only. Desktop stands not included.
  3. Selling for a friend. Owned from new; treasured and used accordingly. Legendary sound quality. Teak cabinets, a couple of very minor marks but outstanding condition for age. All drivers in excellent condition. These have never been overdriven and have been in storage for a number of years. Front grills recently renewed by Aranmar Acoustic. Kef 104’s are superb for a dedicated audiophile. Unfortunately having to sell as doing some serious down-sizing. Also see ad for Quad 33 and 303. Pickup from Highett 3190. Cash on pickup only.
  4. Further information: Kef R3 Speakers Purchased these speakers 18 months ago and I will be really sad to part with them, they are exceptional speakers for the price. Purchased from Melbourne Hifi, they have been well looked after, there is a very small dint on one (refer blown up image) but hardly noticeable. I have the Front Grills, Original Manuals however the original box I don't have - Preference is to sell them locally (happy to audition). Stands are not included, a donation to SNA will be made upon sale. Only selling due to having 3 sets of speakers and wanting to upgrade, current RRP$ is $3695 R3 redefines standmount performance. That's no surprise, as it shares the same drivers as the range-topping R11. A true three-way speaker, the 165mm (6 in.) bass driver pushes bass performance to new extremes. The 125mm (5 in.) midrange driver and 25mm (1 in.) aluminium dome tweeter create a Uni-Q array that defies the expectations from the most compact main speaker in the range. Uni-Q Driver Array Developed by KEF in 1988, the Uni-Q driver array acts as a single point source, providing pristine sound across a wider area. The R Series benefits from a new incarnation of this driver array, with advantages over its predecessors that include a new midrange motor system that drastically reduces distortion. Air moving across the minute gaps between Uni-Q’s separate elements creates tiny resonances, but KEF engineers have reduced the impact of these necessary gaps by opening a cavity behind the drivers and adding resonance-absorbing damping material for more precise, purer treble.
  5. Further information: Up for consideration are a pair of Kef 4 way Transmission Line speakers, in the IMF TLS80 style feat B139, B110, T27 Coles 4001G. As the cliche goes, I never thought I’d sell these, and as their new owner leaves with them I shall wipe a moist tear from my eye with a handkerchief… These have been featuring in my main systems for the last couple of years after I fell in love with the bass drivers Kef B139 which lead me to concertos, which lead me to Baileys enclosures which lead me to these. My next step in my transmission line journey is to have a pair of custom TLS80mkii speakers built using the all original parts I’ve collected. In my other system I’ve started playing with low watt amps and full range speakers so I can’t justify keeping these guys. In order to get close to these speakers up for sale, you’d need to spend well over 2K plus wait for speakers like the IMF TLS80s which NEVER come up for sale in Aus (which is why I’ve had to cobble together parts over the years and have custom enclosures made). These speakers will reveal just about any frequency you could possibly wish for. The drivers are all in incredible condition. The B139 has some basic surface blemishes which are just some surface characteristics that sometimes happen as these are manufactured. The mids, tweeters and super tweeters are near mint. I had considered harvesting the parts from these but it would be a waste of an incredible pair of speakers. They seem to have been built in 1976, at least that is when their builder wrote some instructions on the bottom. More recently, they have been seriously upgraded with incredible custom crossovers built, upgraded from 3 to 4 way by an SNA member, a professional electronics person, based on the Cambridge R50 featuring the same drivers, the Kef B139, B110, T27 and Coles 4001G super tweeter added. New wiring was also installed at the time. The enclosures have some age appropriate blemishes and I’m some areas have what looks like an inconsistent coat of varnish. The enclosures are 890 H x 460 W x 390 D and feature banana plug inputs. They must be quite efficient as they sound great and loud using low watt to high watt speakers. They are large and heavy, so pick up is recommended although if you wish to have pack and send collect you can arrange that with them.
  6. EOI for Monitor Audio GS 60 floorstanders. Santos Rosewood real wood veneer Original rrp I believe was close to $6k * Location- Melbourne Inner North * Item condition description- In excellent condition BUT a bass driver has several almost indiscernible dimples from a wayward small finger. It does not affect performance and is visible when close. In fact a friend pointed it out to me after I had bought them. I'll post photos when I get to it but do not be put off by this if you are looking for high quality speakers like these. They present beautifully, both sonically and visually. I bought these from Johns Hi Fi exchange late 2012 and they were sold with out the grilles so the listing is for the speakers only. They look stunning without the grilles and the quality and workmanship is highly evident. I partnered these with a Musical fidelity A5 but they are actually very easy to drive. * Price and price conditions- $2200 * Reason for selling- Restlessness and money for upgrade * Payment Methods: Cash - Pickup, Paypal or Australia Post COD * Extra Info: I prefer pick up only but can take to the nearest pack and send if delivery is required. Happy to audition them if convenient. The blurb from Monitor Audio http://www.monitoraudio.com.au/support/past-products/gold-gs/gs60/#/overview Developing the discrete cavity technology of the GS20, the four-driver GS60 recreates the deep bass and authentic scale of a performance, bringing lifelike power, dynamics and realism to music and film. Yet its tall, slender appearance is anything but overpowering. Like all models in the Gold Signature range, the flagship is a monument to the cabinet-maker's art: immaculate real wood or piano gloss finishes are blended with modern industrial design and superb attention to detail. Even if you think you've heard it all before, the GS60 will take your breath away. Anti-resonance build: driver held by innovative zinc alloy clamp system; traditional tongue and groove construction; extensive vertical and radial internal bracing. 6 1/2 inch die-cast aluminium chassis bass and bass-mid drivers featuring a new Rigid Surface Technology RST®II, C-CAM® alloy cone profile. A new 1" C-CAM gold dome tweeter extends high frequency performance to beyond 40KHz. HiVe®II port design: the new port technology uses a straight rifled construction to aid air flow and reduce turbulence. - See more at: http://www.monitoraudio.com.au/support/past-products/gold-gs/gs60/#/overview * Pictures Photos of actual speakers to follow soon sorry
