  2. Item: Integrated Amp with onboard DAC Price Range: <$3000 Item Condition: Used Extra Info: Must Haves: DAC Min 70w/Channel HT Bypass Universal remote compatibility (this is lowest priority and could be worked around) I was originally searching for an amp that could also stream but have decided to use the existing Sonos connect to handle those duties and upgrade it separately in future.
  3. Further information: Purchased from rossb a little while ago. An opportunity to purchase a new item has come up and this needs to be moved on. There is a serial number on the back of the unit. I have deliberately photoshopped it out of the picture. Offers Welcome Australia wide shipping is included in the price. Also includes 2 Remote controls Details/Specs here https://www.audiomagic.com.au/product/detail/887/ax-5-integrated-amplifier Power Output 125 watts per channel continuous into 8 ohms 250 w
  4. Im in between integrateds at the moment and have $2.5k to spend on a replacement. I've been looking at used versions of: Musical Fidelity m6i Roksan K3 Denon pma 2500, (probably won't meet budget) Anything similar that as sufficient grunt so as to not limit future speaker options. Have only heard the roksan k2 (in a store in a room of different dimensions) and loved it. However, I've tried a multitude of amps at home - ME 75, 550, creek evolution, naksa 80, redgum something and none of them have approached the same sound or a soudstage with any depth or heigh
  5. Hello guys and girls, it's my first post so I hope its in the right place. My brain is fried due to so much research in regards to purchasing a new amplifier, please help 🤯 My grandfather gave me a 1976 pioneer integrated amp (sa7500) 40wpc, I've had it fully restored and love it! I purchased a tx7500 and a very nice pair of used transmission line speakers, custom built in the early 90s utilising 4 Audax drivers, 10" bass, 8" mid, 3" super tweeter 1 1/4" tweeter, 50kg each, I don't have any other specs on them unfortunately. I'm using 2 bic f12 powered subs, and had dedic

Other equipment in the photos are for illustration purposes only and are not part of the asking price for the Luxman integrated amplifier. Happy to discuss a combined price for the Integrated, TT snd Tuner if a buyer is interested in putting together a matching vint
  9. Further information: I bought this amp from another SNA member 5 years ago, had it serviced and it has been perfect ever since. It is rated at 175 W per channel at 8 Ohms and produces 500 W per channel at 2 Ohms. There is no speaker this amp will not drive. The sound is (wanting to avoid cliche) fantastic. You will not regret scoring this bargain. RRP was $4k, but they don't make them anymore. (They stopped the Chinese manufacturing during Trump's trade war) Honestly if had not found a compelling bargain here, I would not be selling. In fact if I could afford to ha

  12. Further information: For sale is my beloved Oldchen K3 push/pull tube integrated. This is a very sweet though also powerful sounding amp for its 45WPC power rating. Very powerful, punchy bass and sweet sparkling highs. Very even handed right across the entire audio spectrum. It has recently been recapped with Jantzen Superier tube coupling caps, volume pot upgraded to a genuine Alps Blue and received new tubes. 3x sought after Melz 6H8C hole plate preamp tubes and a matched quad of Reflektor 6P3S-E coin base power tubes. 14. I've inherited a pair of Jamo 707i floor standing speakers (in black). I'm looking for a second hand amplifier that will handle them, from what I understand they're a little power hungry! Details below from Hifi Review: "Parameters specifications module of input impedance are quite loyal load for the amplifier: average is 8.6 Ohm, nominal impedance is 3.5 Ohm, standard deviation is +/-3,2 Ohm, maximum is (2 kHz) 16 Om. The setting's frequency of the resonator is 55 Hz. Rated power is 200 W, a valid short-term exposure is to 280 watts. The average sensitivity in the range of 100

  16. So, here we are again with the third thread (representing the third listening room) since this obsession began back in mid 2010 (or possibly early 2011, I'd need a good psychologist to be sure). Pics of the new listening room will arrive in good time, a new camera is on the way, as will pics of the first amp to grace the new room, until then I'm afraid I'll just have to copy and paste from the good old internet. This is Darren69's Peachtree Nova, the older model with the mosfet modules (prior to the class D modules and the power increase). It is listed in the manual as 80wpc in
  17. Price dropped for a quick sale , these amp has an RRP of $2699AUD back in the USD parity days , so decent drop for a quality integrated amp The "facelift" equivalent model goes for USD$2400 https://simaudio.com/en/product/250i-integrated-amplifier/ Further information: I’m the original owner of this amazing little yet capable intergrated amp , purchased new from stereophonic docklands back in 2015. it has been used mainly in my study setup driving a pair of dynaudio focus 260 and seen really little used the whole ownership , probably max 1 ho

Paid 2100AUD in April and arrived on my doorstep on May 5th 2020, so less than a month old. Save $550 and a significant wait as these things seem to be in high demand - price is fi
  21. Further information: Purchased brand new in 2010. Was used as my main amplifier for 3 years before upgrading to a more powerful amplifier (for new speakers). Kept in storage in original box ever since, I intended to use it for a second system but with first child on the way I have decided to part ways with it. Brilliant 40Wpc (into 8 ohms or 55Wpc into 4 ohms) amplifier. This got some great reviews when they were released: https://www.stereophile.com/integratedamps/marantz_pm5003_integrated_amplifier/index.html Postage can be arranged. 22. Selling my beautiful New Audio Frontiers Supreme 300b Special Edition integrated amp. Has been lovingly cared for by an obsessive audiophile. Dead silent operation and has been 100% reliable since owning. Sweet sounding integrated with a gorgeous mid-range that the 300B tubes are known for with great dynamics and harmonic richness. Auto-bias and has been completely trouble free to own, and no preamp required. Currently the cheapest price I can find globally for a new model is 15,800 USD https://www.usatubeaudio.com/brand/new-audio-frontiers
  23. Extra Info: The Devialet was purchased last year and I’m the second owner. It was originally purchased in June 2015 so basically you still have 1 more month factory warranty until June 2020. This is a superb all in one amplifier. There are reasons this get many great reviews from audiophile around the world. I didn't believe how good it is in such a small package until blown away by its sound. Works perfectly since I bought it last year, not a single fault. My dream is to add another Devialet to make it dual mono but due to downsizing and financial purpose this
  24. Further information: I bought this IOTAVX SA3 about 12 months ago with an intention to do a write up on it but I haven't managed to find the time yet and it looks like I'm not likely to in the near future so I'm putting it up for sale. It's a nice amp to listen to, reminds me of the 800 series Rotel amps which were warmer and easier on the ears than their newer 1000 series models. The DAC is quite decent too and well matched sonically to the amps abilities. I also bought a pair of PAIYON P4 speakers around the same time and I've found that they match well with the IOTA. I've taken the pic
  25. Further information: Photos: Purchased 2nd hand last year, this amp has seen very little use. I have the original box, and am happy to post Aust-wide.
