Howdy folks. I currenlty have a Denon AVR 1912 and while it sounds ok, it doesn't do justice to my Oppo 93 or Legend Acoustics Kanga 6's (of which I use three, one each for centre, right and left mains). I purchased the Denon for it's HD and HDMI capabilities and as I was happy with the older Denon, I thought it logical to try the same brand.
In short, I'm not thrilled by the Denon AVR 1912 as it doesn't match the quality of the other components in my home theatre - not by a very long shot.
So, my question is, what's the Anthem MRX 300 like? It seems extremely well built with a decent GUI and reviews well. The Legend Acoustics are arguably one of the best Australian made speakers available, Rod Crawford knows his speakers, and the Oppo 93 is astonishing. I need an AVR to do this system justice. All speakers are cabled with Chord Carnival Silver Screen bi-wire and terminated with Atlas banana plugs. The screen is a full HD plasma by Panasonic.
Cheers
