  3. Hello Guys I am looking for a replacement woofer for a Dynaudio DM 2, 7 book shelf speakers- i found a link for them in the USA but the shipping and woofer was more then the speakers are worth, does anyone have a unit i could buy or know if i could use a replacement woofer from a 3rd party or another brand , i think they used the same unit in the bigger floor standers just more of them and also in the centre speaker, am tempted to buy the centre speaker for sale in the home theatre classifieds but the size of the centre console to ship to Perth will again blow out the cost. Also i think an Air a6 woofer could be used but i am not sure., Any help appreciated, thanks Adam

  11. Hi guys / gals I am acquiring the above speakers and my research thus far causes me to feel pretty confident that neither of my integrated family entertainment focused amps (Yamaha RX V773 and Onkyo TX NR737) will be up to snuff. It will live in an apartment living space approx 4 m x 8 m (or less likely a 4 x 3 - but my Elacs 243.3 seem pretty happy for bedroom duties, and are driven comfortably by the same Yamaha - to my ears anyway). Any suggestions for suitable amp budgeted at $1500 second hand (max.)?
  12. Item: Dynaudio Contour S3.4 Location: Point Cook VIC 3030 Price: $2500 Item Condition: EC Reason for selling: Not suiting my room / amp sold / returning to tubes Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: I purchased these a few weeks ago from another SNA member (see attached ad). I was using my Music Fidelity M6i to run them as they are Imped-4 ohm and Senstvty-86db which was no problem for the amp to run. They sounded very musical and detailed to me, but my room is just too small and I have moved on the amp and staying with my tubes. There are a few minor scuffs and blemishes. A couple are from the magnetic grills on/off at some stage by a previous owner. Many of the other blemishes looks to be able to be cleaned with an appropriate solution if it bothered you. Prices has been reflected and accounted for this. The MF M6i amp now looks to be sold to another member which places my back into my tube monoblocks and Spendors which is more suited to my listening, room and musicality. My monoblocks just doesn't have the grunt to drive the Dynaudio's. Don't need any reviews as most people will know of the quality of Dynaudio products. Happy to freight for interstate buyers but there were no original boxes so it'd be best to get your quotes from PacknSend and request appropriate packaging to be completed (at purchases expense). You'd be hard pressed to find a set of speakers for this mony. Happy to demo locally and would prefer local pick up, but you might need to bring an amp to make them sing and shine as they should. Taken from Dynaudio website: Natural, life-like sound and precise imaging due to its incredible balance and time alignment. The Contour Cabinet is strengthened by cross braces in specific areas to achieve a solid, vibration-free construction. Internally, the MDF walls are damped with an extremely dense material that absorbs even the most microscopic resonance. In conjunction with the advanced metal baffle construction, an extremely stiff and rigid unit is created, further ennobled by the finely polished surface of a beautifully finished real wood veneer. The innovative base plinth, derived from the Dynaudio Confidence range, serves as a stylish yet solid stand for the speakers. The crossover is mounted on a smaller block, between the plinth and the cabinet, away from unwanted vibrations and resonance, while using the shortest possible path-lengths to the gold plated WBT terminals. The sensitive components are thus isolated from any potential performance compromising factors. In the S 3.4, the new Esotec tweeter is used; it features a double magnet system that ensures extremely high power handling and precise control of movement of the dome. The Contour S 3.4 is available in a choice of real-wood veneer finishes: Maple, Cherry, Rosewood and Black Ash. Several other real-wood veneers and Piano Clear Lacquer, White Piano Lacquer and Black Piano Lacquer are available upon request per special order. 13. Item: Dynaudio X16 Speakers Location: 2213 Price: $720 Item Condition: Very Good Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Change in setup configuration the X16 bookshelf speakers are for sale. Overall speakers are in excellent conditions. Cosmetically there are 2 minor scratch on top back corner on a speaker, which is not very visible. Now boxed in original box and ready for shipping. 15. Item: Dynaudio Contour SCX Centre Speaker with Matching Stand Location: Brisbane, Qld Price: $2000 with stand. ($1700 without stand) Item Condition: 9/10, Excellent Reason for selling: No Longer used Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Bank Deposit Extra Info: I am the second owner of this speaker and bought it off the original owner about 2 years ago. It is in perfect unmarked condition and comes with the optional (adjustable) Dynaudio "Centre Base2" Stand. The stand alone sold for $900 I believe. The CSX Centre speaker (rrp $4199) is significantly better than the standard Contour SC Centre (rep $2799). The next step up the Dynaudio range in the way of a centre is the $10k Confidence centre, so in my mind the CSX is the pick of the bunch (bang for buck wise) if you are looking for a centre speaker to match Dynaudio Foucs, Contour or Confidence front speakers. The SCX uses the Esotar tweeter which I believe is the same one used in the Dynaudio Confidence range. This centre speaker sounds superb. Voices are articulate and natural sounding through this centre and it really brought my home theatre experience to the next level. I apologise if I have any of the above RRPs wrong. I got them all from google - http://www.rio.com.a...nds/5/dynaudio/ I just wanted to give you an idea of where this speaker sits in the Dynaudio range. There are no marks, dings or dents on the speaker, and it is in perfect working order. There is a small mark on the back corner of the "Centre BAse2" stand which I have tried to show in the last pic. You can't see this mark unless you bend down behind the speaker and look carefully. I have the original box and manual and can post anywhere in australia at buyers cost and risk. Willing to sell the speaker separately to the "Centre Base2" Stand - see pricing above.
  16. Hi Guys Moved house so looking to downsize my HT speakers. Selling a pair of Rosewood X32 towers in rosewood and matching X22 centre channel. Really want to keep these but new room is really small so rear porting is causing room modes and puting the foam plugs doesn't do these speakers justice. My loss is your gain and you definitly wont be disapointed! As new condition and lovingly cared for. Run with quality Parasound Halo amp and seldom driven loud. Purchased new and under a year old, X32 are only just breaking and X22 has only had about 30 Hrs use as I mainly listen to 2ch Awsome sound stage these speakers simply disapear, detailed with great bottom end can listen to them all day, I have all the original packaging and reciets. Located in Melbourne South East If interested X32 -$2300 X22 -$600
  17. Item: Dynaudio Confidence C2 Mk II Floorstanding Speakers in Piano Black Location: Melbourne Price: $7800 (Reduced by $1,000 from original listing) Item Condition: Excellent including crates for safe transport Reason for selling: Funds needed to pay debts. Withdrew these from sale, as I was getting fed up with low ballers and put my Magico S3s on the market. I need to sell one or the other pair. Please bear in mind that I've already rejected an offer of $7500. Confidence C1 standmounts sell around $6K so these have to be worth the asking price, being around twice the price at RRP. Payment Method: Cash, bank transfer or Paypal Extra Info: Stunningly tall and luxurious in premium piano black finish, demonstrating Dynaudio's game-changing "DDC" dispersion technology trickling down from their top models. Reviewers universally acknowledge their relaxed yet detailed presentation, wide and deep soundstage, coherent imaging and dynamics. As result of their unique driver placement and crossover technology, these large speakers are designed to work well in small or large rooms, with minimal interference from ceilings or floors. At less than half their new price and near faultless condition, they represent a bargain-priced entry into the best that Dynaudio has to offer. An end-game speaker for most music lovers. Pictures: Just added a couple more photos
  18. Item: OCOS speaker cable Location: Mosman Price: 90 Item Condition: used Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal as friend, COD Only Extra Info: This is a pair of OCOS speaker cable, now marketed by Dynaudio. I made up a parallel pair (2 strands) and terminated them with crimp on copper lugs. This equates to what Dynaudio offer as their Dynaudio Ocos Pro at many multiples of my asking price. As these are only 1.2m pair, it will only suit a select lucky few and especially if you’re running Dyns or Sonus Faber bookshelfs. Pictures:

  25. In a quandary folks. My main system is a pair of single driver Audiospheres powered by a PP EL84 amp. Main source is a Garrard 401 with alloy bodied DL 103r feeding a MF VLPS and VPSU. In moving house, we want music on the verandah, out the back, when cooking, as background when dining... I was contemplating ceiling speakers in zones, but even a basic multi zone setup will be mega dollars. Out of the blue, my wife suggested a mobile system on a trolley. So, I contemplate the following: PS Audio Sprout 100 (100w into 4 ohms) with a macbook pro as source (where all our iTunes is) and a good pair of bookshelf speakers in the 1-2k range. Early shortlist options are Dynaudio Emit 10 or 20, or Sonus Faber Venere 1.5. We listen to everything. 80s and 90s dance, jazz, female vocal, blues, rock, metal, pop etc Any thoughts?
