This is the original Wand Tonearm, a beautifully designed and made tonearm that put NZ firmly on the audio map along with its Amps. Thats almost up there with NZs musos, but they started earlier :). It comes with the set up gear which on its own is worth over $100, it a great tool this includes the arm lowering lever and all up cost about $1500 I think, it was used for a couple of years until I got my FR7 going ( it is built in to its own headshell.)

Further Information: RRP TT - ~$5000 with rega arm RRP TA- ~$2000 It was a serendipitous moment when I was able to find the Acoustic Solid with no tonearm and concurrently the Zephyr was available. The pairing has been an absolute wonder, to the point I would like to move to a better level of arm and possibly turntable. Hence my EOI. If someone is interested in the tonearm, I am happy to separate them and then upgrade using the Acoustic solid as the platform, though I think it will be better for everyone to keep these units together. The 10x5 isn’t included, though can be by negotiation. I have the original boxes, so shipping is fine (though the zephyr’s box got wet ( without the Tonearm in it) so looks a bit rough. the Zephyr was upgraded with silver wire prior to my ownership. I had a Delrin sleeve machined to help hold the arm on the metal arm board of the Acoustic Solid whilst reducing resonance. It works really well, though VTA adjustment is a little tricky initially. Happy to discuss or demo. the price includes the original Perspex Matt and an upgraded one.

Further information: Rega RB330 Tonearm (Melbourne) Designed using the latest 3D CAD & CAM technology, the new RB330 is the culmination of more than 35 years of tonearm design experience. Featuring a brand new bearing housing and our latest tonearm tube designed using intelligent redistribution of mass, ensure this arm will exhibit fewer points of possible resonance. Extreme stability with almost friction free movement from the new high precision bearing assemblies guarantees to gather more information from your vinyl than ever before. Featuring a new bias assembly, re-designed stiffer vertical bearing housing, integrated arm clip and an improved spring housing with easier to read numbers.Rega made, new low capacitance phono cable with Neutrik plugs.Improved lower friction, precision horizontal and vertical bearings. Rega is famed for its tonearm designs. One unique characteristic of these designs is the achievement of near frictionless movement horizontally and vertically whilst having no measurable free play in the bearing assemblies (and in reality one or two microns of pre load). So, why has Rega spent over thirty years and invested so heavily in this area of tonearm design where the removal of even microns of movement has been pursued? Further information: Here is medium effective mass arm used a good deal to enter into the mono for me. Excellent build quality and ease of set-up. Cleaning up the vault. thanks escription To make reliable tracing possible at a low stylus pressure under 1g the inside force cancel is needed. This new system used in the GST-1 stabilised the cancel by making use of the magnetic repulsion skilfully without giving any mechanic friction resistance over all and also without injuring the rotating function of the tonearm, having relation either with the temperature change nor the alternation by years. To make an accurate tracing whenever you change the cartridge, you have to change the arm height. Our GST-1 is equipped, with the height adjustment lever of the arm base, which can easily adjust accurately within 10mm height (1mm step measure). Specifications Effective length: 237mm Overhang: 15mm Height adjustment: 10mm will pay the donation Photos: PLEASE READ If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you are advertising multiple items, you must post one bulk price only, or post seperate ads for each item If you don't include photographs of the actual item being sold, your ad will not be approved You understand that upon successful sale of your item it is expected you pay Seller's Fees. - if you have previously sold items and not made a contribution, your advertisement may not be approved.

Further Information: Rega RB3000 Tonearm The RB3000 tonearm is packed with new features pushing the boundaries of tonearm design. As with all Rega tonearms, each one is meticulously hand built by a team of highly skilled technicians. The RB3000 uses improved bearings with each one being hand selected to be an interference fit with the paired spindle matching both the inside and outside diameters. This is a Rega developed method of increasing the amount of detail retrieved from the record surface, designed specifically to maximise performance of the tonearm and cartridge. The entire tonearm structure is designed to have the minimum of mechanical joints whilst using the stiffest materials in all critical areas. The tolerance of the RB3000 tonearm is so tight that no adhesive is used at any point throughout the construction. A brand new, low mass, precision engineered, vertical bearing assembly has been manufactured to further complement the inherent design philosophy of the RP10 turntable. The RB3000 uses the latest award winning Rega arm tube. Each one which is meticulously hand polished (keeping mass to an absolute minimum) and has been completely redesigned to redistribute mass and further reduce stresses and resonances. This advanced design tube increases the stiffness and rigidity of the overall assembly whilst reducing stress on the bearings even further. Note selling Tonearm only (VDH Cartridge is NOT included) Amazing Tonearm for the price! A donation will be made to SNA upon sale, Invoice available upon request.

Further Information: There are two versions of the MA-202 tonearm. This was the one included on the MR-622 turntable. From a description here: Effective Length: 237mm Bought to build own turntable, never used. Headshell is generic (not sure of manufacturer) rather than stock. Would prefer pick-up so that I do not need to safely package it.

Item: Origin Live Conqueror Mk3C Tonearm Location: Napier, New Zealand Price: $2,000.00 Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: Not Compatible Payment Method: Paypal Extra Info: I bought this a few months ago on another forum. It was used so I am the second owner. I have put it on a Technics SL1210 Mk5g. In terms of looks it is quite impressive, imposing even. The fixed headshell looks good but on close inspection it would benefit from a polish - actually I have some Autosol, so will probably do that myself. I am selling it as it is not compatible with my system. Sonically it was solid but I was hoping for something that would be better than my Jelco. I was warned that the Vintage Technics tables work best with arms of that era. Jelcos are a good match. Others I was advised to get were the SME M2-9 or a Fidelity Research. This arm should go on a more modern table to do it justice. It is also difficult to adjust the VTA. But that is only because of the Technics low deck. The grub screw to turn (with an allen key) is located below the adjusting wheel. It is doable, and I have got the right height, but it is a bit fiddly. Again this will not be a problem on deck that does not have such a low platter. The wiring is a continuous run and again is not ideal for a Technics where the wiring has to come out of the bottom of the deck. Shipping: I have the Origin Live custom wooden box for it, but would double box that within another (that was how I received it). I will pick up the shipping and paypal fees. Tracked and Signed for. Buyer to take care of insurance. https://www.originlive.com/tonearms-all-origin-live-arms/tonearm-conqueror.html Pictures: The second picture is one of a series I took to send to Magna Audio in England who needed the measurements for the armboard.

I have aquired a Grace g-707 that has been trashed and I'm restoring it. The metal parts of the arm are in good condition, part of the anti-skating assembly was cracked, but repairable, but the headshell is completely missing. So what I want to do is 3D print a replacement headshell. Using images on the internet I can get a pretty good idea of the geometry, but for accuracy I need actual measurements. Is there a g-707 owner out there who can get a ruler, or better yet some calipers and give me the dimensions? Only need the headshell, not the arm. Here are the measurements I need (in rough order of priority): width length max depth (at the back) min depth (at the front) outside diameter of the arm mounting tube length of the arm mounting tube distance from front to start of screw holes length of screw holes width of screw holes spacing of screw holes (should be 1/2", yes?) thickness of the plastic lastly, if you can measure the angle between the arm and the headshell that would be great. You can refer to the image to see what I'm talking about. If you can't be bothered doing them all then just the length, width and depth would be a great help.

Howdy all, not sure if this should be here or in the "Beginners & Purchasing Advice" section, please feel free to move if it is more suitable there. Roughly four and a half months ago I purchased Betty the SL120 : Betty and I have shared some amazing moments together in our short time, as such I feel she deserves a special treat. All silliness aside, I have just purchased an Ortofon 2M Blue to replace the cart that came with the TT and I am now considering upgrading the tonearm. I am wondering if this is a worthwhile investment and if so where a good starting point would be, and I suppose as a secondary question would I be better off spending the money somewhere else in the system? I am not sure how relevant all the other info is but here is the system as it stands: - SL120 Fitted with an SL1200 MK II arm - Ortofon OM ProS (About to be replaced with the OM2 Blue) - Yamaha AX-497 Amplifier (Using the amps built in phono stage) - Dali Concept 6 and B&W DM602 S3s (Currently having a shoot out between the speakers to decide which stays) I understand that with the new cart, a tonearm would see me spending well over what the TT cost me to begin with however there is something about the old Technics TTs that appeals to me. Any suggestions and/or advice appreciated. Cheers, Terry

I have for sale a one-owner Michell Technoarm Series 1. As can be seen from the pictures it is the black version, not the silver and it is in mint condition. Any scratches or marks in the pictures below are artefacts of the pictures - the only actual marks are the tiny scratches on the headshell where the installation bolts have left slight marks. It comes with alI the original accessories including the two counterweights, the original allen key and the polystyrene case. It has the earlier VTA adjuster - not the latest. But the VTA works very well and I have never had any issue adjusting the height of the arm without needing to remove it. The arm has the internal silver litz wiring from the cartridge pins through to the phono plugs. This was standard issue with these arms. I have owned this from new - I bought it at the same time as a Michell Gyro SE and the two worked wonderfully together for a number of years. Eventually I upgraded the Gyro to an Orbe and the arm then did a couple of years of service on that before I finally got the upgrade bug and spent a lot more on a different tonearm. I have now decided that I will move this on as I'm unlikely to ever change back. I am asking about half of the current retail price of the series 2 arm. As far as I can tell the only difference between the Series 1 and Series 2 is the new VTA adjustment mechanism. So I think my price is fair given the condition and history of the arm. I will consider offers, but I don't have to sell this and I'm not going to let it go for less than it's worth. I'm sure my son in law would appreciate it if I can't sell it for a reasonable price! If a prospective buyer wishes to buy this to fit onto a Michell Gyro or Orbe, I have an armboard that can be part of the sale at an additional cost, including the original bolts. Anyone who has ever tried to source a Michell armboard in recent times will be well aware of the extortionate cost! But I'm a reasonable bloke and we can negotiate! Here's a review of the Orbe/Technoarm Series 1 combination : https://www.whathifi.com/au/michell/orbe-setecnoarm/review Any questions please feel free to contact me via a PM. Andrew.

A magnificent low compliance 16g tonearm designed by Ikeda. suits heavier cartridges like the Denon 103. I’ve even used it with the FR7 which weighs a couple of tonnes ( well it’s one of the heavier cartridges around) I needed to add a 5 cm strip of lead tape to the counterweight, and it works beautifully . it comes with Van Damme interconnect, an improvement on the standard FR. mechanical excellent, cosmeticly very good with just a little bit of pitting on counterweight and comes with antiskate. I could consider reasonable offers, but not lowballing priced below ebay sellers who go up to $1000+e
