  2. Lumin T2 streamer, DAC Preamplifier. Amazing bit of kit. I purchased this from the original owner. Comes double boxed in cloth bag with original purchase receipt. Selling as I decided to stick with the BluOS system in my home as I have 3 sound systems throughout the house. This unit presents as new and still has 12 months manufacturer warranty remaining. This is a reference quality streamer with a lot of features. The LUMIN T2 heralds the first redesign of the classic A1/T1 main boards and chassis. This new approach combines solid CNC panel construction with X1 technology to hit the performance sweet spot. LUMIN T2 is available in Black or Silver finish. New generation processor provides DSD512 and 384kHz playback Dual ES9028PRO SABRE DACS USB digital audio output Precision 32-bit internal digital volume Discreet clock system for precision timing Low-noise switching power supply with dual stage regulator Resampling to every supported format up to DSD128 and PCM384kHz MQA full decoding Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, MQA, TIDAL, Qobuz, TuneIn and AirPlay-compatible All the usual LUMIN refinements From MQA to DSD, FLAC to WAV, LUMIN can play all the high-resolution formats you could ever want Native support for TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify and AirPlay-compatible, giving you access to tens of millions of songs The unique and intuitive LUMIN App described as “the most convenient interface in existence” by Tinman. 3. Further Information: 2 months old, barely used with all original packaging. Simple all-in-one headphone amplifier, speaker pre-amplifier and streamer solution.
  4. Get yourself a gift right in time for Christmas break - Final Price Drop - 40% of original RRP. Pickup locations possible this week: Gosford, Haymarket or Alexandria. Lumin T2 Streamer DAC Preamplifier is up for sale. It's less than a year old and still under warranty. I am the original owner, having purchased it from the authorized dealer, Krispy Audio. I acquired it as an interim solution while searching for an all-in-one amplifier. This exceptional product delivers crystal-clear sound from streaming platforms and seamlessly integrates with all major streaming services, including Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify, and Airplay 2. The Lumin T2 boasts a high-quality DAC that, in my experience, rivals even the Chord Qutest DAC in A/B testing. Its onboard DAC offers remarkable transparency, an airy soundstage, and impressive resolution when paired with a resolving downstream system. Regarding the T2 vs. T3 model comparison, I auditioned both and found that the sound quality improvement in the T3's DAC was negligible, making the T2 a more cost-effective choice. A standout feature of the Lumin T2 is its capability to upsample to DSD, which significantly enhanced sound quality in my system, particularly with my Pass Labs components. The digital volume control is truly transparent, and in my main Pass Labs setup, I couldn't discern any drop in quality when switching between the analog preamp and the Lumin's volume control. I have all the original packaging available, allowing me to ship anywhere in Australia. Reviews of Lumin T2: Upscale Audio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_E0UUA0mSog OCD Guy: Review and sound demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caoNkgL6ckw If you're looking for a top-tier streaming DAC preamplifier that delivers outstanding sound quality and versatility, don't miss the opportunity to own this Lumin T2. Please feel free to reach out for further details or to arrange a purchase.
  5. Further Information: Auralic aries femto streamer with original linear psu in mint condition. Comes with all accessories and original packaging double box. Can post if buyer pays postage. I throw in brand new wifi card and original bottom cover pad for if you ever need to change wifi card in the future.
  6. Further Information: Perfect Condition AudioEngine B-Fi audio streamer. Comes with box and power supply. Worked flawlessly in my set up, but have now changed audio systems and it's no longer required. RCA, optical outs. Happy to post with AusPost in Australia at postage cost. Just give me a few days to get to the post office needed. More info: https://www.audioengine.com.au/products/p/b-fi
  7. Further Information: Purchased earlier this year from a member here, but in a private sale. Scaling down collection and it isn't seeing much use. Near new condition. This is an excellent unit and I have thoroughly enjoyed not only the quality of the sound, but it's ridiculous functionality. In terms of DAC quality, I found it to be indistinguishable in extensive A/B listening with the Chord Qutest. So it's at least as good as that to my ears. The server functions and app worked very well and navigating is fairly straight forward. CD ripping/playing seemed good, although I mainly used it via Roon for streaming duties. Comes with original box, remote control and power cord. Also comes with USB wi-fi antenna (can obviously be wired though too), and radio antenna (unused). https://www.cocktailaudio.com/home/sub01_02.php
  8. Further Information: Previously bought from another user on this forum. Planning to "upgrade" to a device with more native AirPlay capabilities. This is a very old but still a very well regarded and featured DAC with streaming capabilities when used with Logitech Media Server. Condition is good for a device this age, all functions work as expected. Just a few things that should be noted: Previous user appears to have placed seperates ontop of the Transporter. Its difficult to see but there are feet marks ontop of the unit - I have tried to show one of the two marks I could find. This is the newest model - it does not have the knob. All controls are done through the remote. You cannot have a digital input AND digital output operating simultaneously. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
  9. Further information: A killer combination (DAC/streamer/pre and power) that gives alot of digital music enjoyment without sounding digital. They are practically in brand new condition from my second system. Purchased less than a year ago, and used around a 100 hours at the most. For those who are looking for simplicity and quality musical enjoyment, you definitely need to check these bad boys out. This particular combination has been getting alot of raves from hifi reviewers from around the world. Here is an in-depth review from the one and only Srajan Ebaen of 6moons: https://6moons.com/audioreview_articles/goldnote13/ Please DM and I can share a couple videos showing how good this combination sounds. 14. Further Information: Original owner. Less than 2 years old. Superb sounding streamer with loads of features all configurable via the excellent Lightning DS app. Output can be either fixed or variable so it can be used as a preamp. A hard drive can be added internally (kit extra) or an external HDD can be connected to the rear USB port which is how I have been using it. The Altair also works as a server so your music collection can be easily made available to other devices on your home network. Current RRP $3995. Would also be interested in swapping for a Luxman DA-250 DAC. Here is a review: https://stereo-magazine.com/review/auralic-altair-g1-review
  15. Further Information: My unit arrived yesterday. This streamer should easily be in the $3k price bracket in my opinion. The features, sound quality and craftsmanship are outstanding as well as the Eversolo app experience. The reason I am selling is because my modded Pd creative node 2i with linear power supply sounds slightly better. Slightly better separation and darker, background. It's about a 10% difference. This sale includes a 2TB nvme internal drive. Alternatively if you are just after the streamer with no hard drive happy to sell as is at agreed cost. Australian stock and comes with all original packaging and receipt. Has less than 1 hour listening time.

  17. Further Information: Perfect condition Arcam streamer comes with all original packaging https://www.arcam.co.uk/product,hda,streamers,st60.htm
  18. Further Information: : I bought this on 8 Oct 2014 from an authorised dealer. All original packaging and manual held. I think the BDP-3 is the current model. RRP for that is $6200. The BDP-1 plays music files as good as any streamer I've heard. It has native software called Manic Moose which can be used to play music files, but you will need Roon if you want to stream from the internet. It has a Roon endpoint. Which means you can easily connect to Qobuz or Tidal via this component. Not all streamers have a Roon endpoint. As shown in the pics, the outputs are XLR, BNC and USB. You will need a Coax adapter if you don't have a BNC cable. The USB output would not work with my DAC. This is an issue some streamers have with USB.

  20. Item: ARIES MINI Wireless Streaming Nodes - white ..( black now sold) Location: Sydney Price: $400 Item Condition: Perfect Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: with the original psu and the shipping box Connect it to your network via wifi or ethernet to link your music library OR install a 2.5 inch drive in it OR plug in a USB HDD then you can output to an amp using its internal DAC or can output to a DAC via AES/EBU, Coaxial, TOSLINK or USB connection. Can be a Roon endpoint if you use Roon as your player/library manager. Various remote apps work though the Auralic Lightning DS app is only available for iOS - I prefer to use Bubble uPnP to control playback though you need the Lightning DS app to set it up. You can also change settings from a web browser on a PC or Mac - the latest firmware has a large range of available options to suit different DAC eg different filters for its internal DAC or whether to convert different resolutions to suit your own DACc etc etc. From Auralic website: Compact and lightweight, the ARIES MINI packs all the functionality of our award-winning ARIES Streaming Bridge into a space-saving and affordable package, with the addition of a High-End internal DAC for analog output to your system. 21. Hi, Not very experienced with audio and want to add streaming to a second hand hi-fi system: Rega Elex-R + Elac 244.3 I’d like to do it as cheaply as possible without completely killing the audio quality of the system I have. I’ll use Tidal or Deezer as advised (or Spotify) for my music source. Ive been told the HEOS 2 ($599) is a good enough system. Next step up I think is blue sound (?) and then Cambridge CXN (v1 is on sale) but the Cambridge is double the price ($1100 + $150 for blueetooth). Has anyone got experience with the quality of using HEOS Link as a DAC? (Or or should I sell the Rega and get something all in one? I’m told this is not a good path generally.) Many many thanks in advance!
  22. Hi folks ? I've had the Chromecast Audio for some time and am looking for another higher quality solution (won't be upgrading my integrated amplifier to get that functionality). I would like something that will allow me to stream music using my Deezer subscription and FLAC files from my Synology NAS. Are there similar boxes you're using? If so, which ones, and what are the pros and cons? Would love to hear your extended thoughts Thanks, Dan.
  23. Item: Bluesound Node 2 Black Location: Melbourne Price: $419 PRICE DROP! (New price dropped to $719) Item Condition: As new Reason for selling: No longer needed Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: This Node 2 is about 18 months old but was only in use for 6 months. 2 reasons. I bought it mainly to hear how MQA files played but ended up cancelling my Tidal account as I preferred my long held Qobuz streaming app and they hadn't embraced MQA. There are many online reviews available but Johnnie Darko seems to be most comprehensive. "This single box and an accompanying app does it all: Tidal, Spotify, Qobuz, Deezer, Slacker and Napster with support for up to 24bit/192kHz for anyone enjoying a Qobuz Sublime+ account or streaming hi-res audio from a NAS device." https://darko.audio/2018/01/further-travels-with-the-bluesound-node-2/ Pictures:
