I don't know the exact year they were made, but I do have the following info: - 1 inch soft domed tweeter ("ferrofluid filled parabolic soft dome") - 5 inch woofer, sealer box (acoustic suspension), Don't let the 5 inch woofer fool you - Google "SEALED SPEAKER RESPONSE" and you'll discover that sealed speaker design have a much lower (and accurate) bass response than ported designs. - Beautiful mids, airy treble, tight, detailed bass (surprisingly deep and tight if you feed them enough power). - 'Plasti-crete' (some form of very inert resin housing), quite heavy for their size (approx. 20lb/9kg each) - 33cm H, 19cm W, 24cm D - the back of the speakers say "4 ohm, 80W/120W RMS" - Made in Germany Thanks for looking!
