Further Information: One Roksan Caspian M1 integrated amp. The Caspian is the "more refined" sounding amp in the Roksan range. The Kandy, or "K" series is the base model and more of a rock and roll amp (or at least that's how it appears from what I've read on the topic) while the Caspian, or M series, has a smoother mid range and less of a bass kick to its presentation. I wouldn't go as far as calling it an old gents amp but that is one way of looking at it. 70wpc of smooth, mid-range focused power. Price covers postage to eastern states and donation to SNA on sale. I do not have a remote for this amp. Actually that isn't quite true, I do have a remote but I don't have one that works, and that is what counts. Edit: I have been informed that this is not an M series amp, my mistake, I was not aware but have now done my googling homework. The Caspian has been available in 4 different series (that I am currently aware of). The original Mark 1, which this component is an example of, the Mark 2 which is labeled as such on the bottom right of the front plate (underneath the volume control), the M1, which is labeled in the same place but in red, and the M2 (not labeled in the same place but has a different faceplate with lights underneath the channels rather than around them). So in a way this amp is one of the grandfathers of the current Caspian models. Sorry for any confusion, I have renamed the thread accordingly. The volume and selector knobs have a rough-ish rubberized/plastisised finish to them so they don't look so good in pictures. The finish isn't actually coming off them, they just look that way.

Who knows how to activate the power amp input? I ask this question is because i have 2 Roksan M2 integrate amplifiers, wondering to use as bi-amp. As long as the power amp input can be activated. Some messages have been sent to the dealer and distributor for help, but nothing comes back. See if anyone have any suggestion for that. Thanks, Beier

Like new Best for ATC, Spendor, etc. You can hear the improvement in a second when it turns on. The most Important, this one is just like new. Further information: Great integrated amplifier which gets very good reviews. It is a lot more powerful and punchy than specs suggest, have used them with 86 db speakers and never need to push the volume more than halfway, and has plenty of grip on the bass. Further information: For sale is a complete Roksan Caspian Stereo System Extremely rare in this good condition. These units have never been sold to anyone and come from one of the directors of a company which made them and have seen very little use. When received, the only item that needed service was CD player which had its belts replaced, limit switches cleaned and PLL frequency adjusted. All the other items were fully serviceable and only performance checks were carried out. A video showing the Tuner and Integrated Amp inside is available from my hear-net-au channel HERE, and the CD Player's video is available HERE This system comes with original Roksan remote which is virtually brand new for it has never been used (I unpacked it and fitted batteries for the first time). Preferences and constraints: Maximum dimensions of 440 mm wide x 380 deep. Height no problem. Digital output not required. Digital input a bonus but not required. Something not hyper sensitive to less than perfect CDs preferred. Aesthetics are a consideration and ideally something Roksan would be great but will consider anything. Could potentially stretch budget on the right player. Have considered the typical Yamaha, Marantz, NAD suspects - still interested in other options. Further information: For sale is the first love of my life, my Rokasn Kandy K2. I bought it from its original owner about two years ago and had it sent via courier all the way from WA to VIC where I live. Still with all its original packaging and it even had the plastic film over the front panel (until i peeled it off) This is the best example that I have seen for sale, no marks on the front chrome panel and is dusted weekly. Everything works perfectly including the lovely original Roksan remote complete with period correct green back lighting and touch display. a very reluctant sell but unfortunately my "new" ATC SCM 11's needed a little more kick, and when I came across the matching ATC SIA2-150 amp I couldn't pass it up. Further information: have been using this as my B amp as I’ve been cycling through a few much higher priced intergrateds. It actually won out on a few of them due to its thoroughly entertaining sound and I regularly came back to it it has tube like qualities and and a well rounded sound with plenty of drive and rhythm . I paired it with a pair of PMC 23s as per what hifi’s recommendation and it offers excellent synergy and plenty of current to drive them to house party levels. Item: Tonearm Cable Item Condition: New or Used Extra Info: Hi All, I'm after a quality tonearm cable to replace the stock item that came with my new Roksan Nima arm. The arm is now mounted on my Linn LP12, so I'm after something that will work well with a suspended sub chassis (i.e. not too stiff). It'll also need to have a 90 degree din connector at the tonearm end, to 2 x RCA. I've just started shopping around, so if anyone has any recommendations in this regard, feel free to get in touch.
