  1. Item: Rega RS3 floorstanders in gloss piano black Location: Clayton, Melbourne Price: $1200 $1000 $950 pickup or buyer pays postage Item Condition: Mint Reason for selling: Funding other purchases Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, Direct Deposit Extra Info: I brought these over from the UK recently as an ex-demo set. They're in fantastic condition (as new); the gloss black finish is impeccable. They sound very similar to the RS1 standmounters, but with more bass (duh). They do the Rega "musical" thing even better than the RS1's. The midrange is typical Rega smooth, and the treble is amazing - the new ZRR tweeter is the fastest, most detailed tweeter I've heard to date. I've been running these with my Rega DAC and Brio-R and they make a fantastic combination. These retail for $2K in Australia. I haven't ever seen any on the local used market, so here's your chance to grab a mint pair at a significant discount (and already run in). They'll come in the original boxes with the manual and floor spikes/pads. Pics:
  2. I'm buying a TT this week and would like to get some advice. I've got it down to: an ex demo Rega P3-24 with external PSU for $799 or a new Rega RP3 for $995 I presume the RP3 will have the best longer term upgrade potential but I plan to live with whatever I buy for a while before making any changes. Getting the PSU in the P3 24 package seems like a good deal. Do the improvements on the RP3 outweigh the advantage of the external PSU? Any thoughts appreciated.
  3. Item: Rega P3-24 Turntable + RB301 + TT PSU + Groovetracer Reference Subplatter + other nice mods... Location: Sydney Price: $1200. Item Condition: 9 Perfect working conditions, like new. Minor marks on tonearm screw slots, tonearm (where the tonearm rest) & turntable cover. Reason for selling: Upgrade Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only This is an Enquiry of Interest ONLY at this stage. The turntable is available for sale early December. ***The tonearm included in this package is the stock RB301. The RB700 tonearm in the pictures is only for photoshoot and not included in this package. The RB700 is for sale separately. The Q-Up tonearm lifter and cartridge in the pictures are also NOT included. Extra Info: There is no need for introduction for P3-24, it is one of the best entry level turntables and sounds wonderful as it is. I bought the P3-24 from an Australian dealer in Melbourne, in standard matte black, in February 2011. I found this tread from Vinyl engine and decided to go on the journey with these wonderful guys to start learning about turntable. The journey has been so wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you have only heard a stock P3-24, you would never guessed it could produce music so good... The mods I have done to the P3-24 are all non-destructive. A suggestion: If you are new to turntable, and wants to learn about how each component make the sound better in your turntable, the P3-24 can be reversed to the original standard easily. You can then change one component at a time, or you can add a different mod to the turntable, there are a lot of mods available for P3-24. Good thing here is, you don't have to wait in agony for all these mods to be shipped to you. So the turntable will include all the mods and all the original bits. The P3-24 with mods listed below: 1. Rega P3-24 in matte black + RB301 tonearm - $1100 2. Rega original TT PSU (bought second hand from a SNA member) - $150 3. Rega Tungsten Counterweight (113 Grams) - $152 4. ISOKINETIK ISOPLATTER Rega 25mm Acrylic Platter - $170 5. Groovetracer Reference Subplatter with Zirconia ball - $237 6. Michael Lim's Double Pulley for Rega P3-24 - $42 7. Rega Turntable White Belt Upgrade x 2 GBP 21 each - $65 8. SRM Silent Base for Rega P3-24 - $197 Total $2113.00 The prices listed above have been converted into AUD from GBP or USD and NOT including shipping fee. So the total including shipping fee is around $2400. I have the original box for the TT and ISOPLATTER, unfortunately all the receipts were destroyed when my basement was flooded in Jan this year. Will ship at buyer's cost and risks. Pictures:

  6. Item: Rega RS3 floorstanders in gloss piano black Location: Clayton, Melbourne Price: $1400 $1200 pickup or buyer pays postage Item Condition: Mint Reason for selling: Got bigger plans... Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, Direct Deposit Extra Info: I brought these over from the UK recently as an ex-demo set. They're in fantastic condition (as new); the gloss black finish is impeccable. They sound very similar to the RS1 standmounters, but with more bass (duh). 7. Item: Rega RS1 in cherry Location: Clayton, Melbourne Price:$550 $500 pickup or buyer pays postage Item Condition: Great except for one chip on a corner (see lower right in the first pic) and some fading/coloration around the grills Reason for selling: Replaced by Dynaudio Focus 110 Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, Direct Deposit Extra Info: These speakers are Rega to the core - they have a warmth and smoothness through the midrange that is unmistakably British, but they're also surprisingly super fast and can sniff a rhythm a mile off (just like the Rega DAC). They have really good bass control for a small speaker. The real party trick here however is the new ZRR tweeter - they're fast and crisp without being fatiguing in the least. I was extremely impressed that they managed to pull this off in my nightmare room of reflections! They will come in the original packaging, postage to Australia should be ~$30. Pics:
  8. Item: Rega RS1 in cherry Location: Clayton, Melbourne Price: $650 $600 $550 pickup or buyer pays postage Item Condition: Great except for one chip on a corner (see lower right in the first pic) and some fading/coloration around the grills Reason for selling: Dynaudio Focus 110 incoming Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, Direct Deposit Extra Info: **These are now definitely for sale These speakers are Rega to the core - they have a warmth and smoothness through the midrange that is unmistakably British, but they're also surprisingly super fast and can sniff a rhythm a mile off (just like the Rega DAC). I initially thought they didn't have much bass, but I have since moved them into another room and they're bopping along with the Brio-R nicely. I think it might be a room placement thing. In any case, I found they integrate well with a sub. The real party trick here however is the new ZRR tweeter - these speakers have probably the best high-frequency reproduction I've heard in any standmount speaker. They're fast and crisp without being fatiguing in the least. I was extremely impressed that they managed to pull this off in my nightmare room of reflections! Pics:

  11. Item: Rega P1 Turntable with Ortofon OM 30 Location: Melbourne, South East Item condition: The dust cover top is a bit scuffed, but other then that, the turntable itself is an very good working order. The OM 30 Stylus has about 400 hours on it. I average about 1 record every 10 days. Price: $300, prefer pickup in Melbourne even though I have the packaging. Reason for selling: 1 too many turnables Pictures:
  12. Item: Rega DAC (black) - SOLD Location: Clayton, Melbourne Item Condition: Excellent - 9/10 Reason for selling: Upgraded Price: $600 posted in Australia Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, Direct Deposit Extra Info: It really pains me to do this, but I'm selling my Rega DAC that I bought off John Darko a few months back. It's a fantastic unit that is built like a tank, looks great (especially when paired with its partner-in-crime, the Brio-R) and sounds wonderful. It's just like the reviews describe it; well grounded with plenty of detail and fast - boy is this DAC speedy! It sniffs a rythm a mile off, gets the feet tapping and pulls you through a song like no DAC I've heard before. This last month I've been testing it against an Audio-gd DAC19DSP that I got my hands on to see which one I would keep. I prefer the Rega in almost every way - the Audio-gd unit is ugly, not built to as high a standard and is far less flexible (in terms of connection options). It's a close call, but I think I've eventually come around to the sound of Kingwa's PCM1704UK-based unit, and unfortunately I can't justify keeping two DACs. So the Rega has to go to another lucky owner. The unit will come in the original box with manual and power cord. It would pair very nicely with this: http://www.stereo.ne...ated-amplifier/ Review: http://www.digitalau...-wolfson-wm8742 Pics:
