Item: Ayre MX-R 240 Volt Monoblock Power Amps (Pair) Location: NE Victoria (An hour south of Albury) Price: $9500 (No offers at this time thanks) Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: Reducing the power amp collection Payment Method: Pickup (Delivery to Melbourne) - Cash, Paypal, EFT Extra Info: I purchased these amps from a fellow SNA'er back in May 2012. He was the original owner and imported these from the UK when I came to work in Australia. It is quite rear to find the 240-volt versions for sale. A point of interest is that you can not purchase Ayre amps in the US (where they are cheaper) and have the voltage changed by the factory, they do not provide this service. Note these are XLR inputs only and the signal cable needs to be earthed at the source (or you will get hum) I don't know if they will work with a single ended source and an XLR adaptor. I haven’t been using these for the past year as I have another amp that seems to work fine so here is a chance to pick up a pair of MX-R’s (not the twenty series) which a rarely available on SNA. The only issues are one of the front labels has come off, if this worries you I would assume they would be available from Ayre direct. There is a scratch on the front of one of the amps (not normally noticeable) I am happy to deliver these to Melbourne, or I can drop these off if in Albury you want these shipped (at your cost) but they will be quite expensive as they are over 25kg each. Original boxes and packing included. No power cables included. Pictures:
