Further Information: Hi all, I got this Ifi Zen Phono after reading ElTel's loaner program (read below). I did think of becoming part of ElTel's fun exchange program, as reading it was a rip snorter, but in the end I decided to just to get my hands on one. I really enjoyed this phono stage, however, my end game was always to get some nice tube phono stages, and that has been achieved. I love Ifi's gear. I also had two Ifi Zen Blue's which are absolutely fantastic. I sold them only because I started streaming via roon. I've considered getting one again as I miss them, but my Eversolo also has Bluetooth so can't justify it. This Zen Phono has taken me from MM to MC and even after spending WAY more on tube phono stages I had to go back and listen really closely to find out if there was a great deal in between the Zen and the others. While there was a bit in it on very close listening but the Zen put up a heck of a fight. I'm sure, jut like the Zen Blue, there will be times I'll miss it's versatility and small footprint. Further information: Up for sale is the bundle for iUSB 3.0 and Gemini 0.7m usb cable, listing them together as they're just perfect match. It's a great USB solution that doesn't compress the dynamic for cleaner sound. Further information: For sale is my ifi itube (mk1). I bought this to use as a tube buffer amp for sound recording but never really used it much in the end. Unit would have under 100 hours of total use so it’s time for it to move on and start getting some use. Great for creating a warmer sound. iTube uses the General Electric 5670 tube. Can be used as: -An analog preamplifier with selectable gain. - A class A tube buffer amp. - A Digital Antidote Plus® which "provides the appropriate phase correction in the time domain to remove the harsh, 'ringing' digital sound which causes listener fatigue" based on the original Digital Antidote patented by Anthony Taddeo in the 80s - 3D HolographicSound® for Speakers circuit which "was developed to address the issue of how the human head 'hears' where lower frequencies are less well defined than upper frequencies." This was also purchased from Minidisc Chatswood, date of purchase 03 Sept 2019. It is still covered by warranty until September 2020 and I will provide the purchase receipt. The unit probably has less than < 100hrs of usage at most, similar to the Andros I've listed. I use studio monitors at home and WFH kicked in quite early for us when COVID came round. Haven't used it in some time now. Works fine, cosmetically perfect and has never had issues. The only negative is that I cannot seem to find the little mini-optical toslink to standard toslink adapter that came with it ... instead I have included an iFi USB to USB-C cable which you can use to connect to a USB-C device if so wished. Prefer cash on pick-up, but can post for additional costs (including insurance via registered post) at a guess maybe $20? Can provide a more exact quote if this is your preferred route of purchased.
