  1. Item: Beyerdynamic T1 600 Ohm headphones Location:Melbourne Price: $550 Item Condition: Exceptional Reason for selling: No longer using, I used these with an Accuphase set up I sold some time ago. I no longer have a headphone amp that does them justice so better to let them go. Ear-cups, leather headband, connector, etc all is in really good condition. Sound is really clear and detailed you hear exactly what the recording artist meant you to hear with no real inaccurate emphasis. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Pictures:
  2. Item: Sennheiser PXC450 Noise Cancelling headphones Location: Melbourne Price: 180 Item Condition: very good Reason for selling: no needs Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Sennheiser PXC450 Noise Cancelling headphones w/ Case, manual These Sennheiser PXC 450 headphones are great for blocking out noise whilst giving superior sound quality. One of the best noise cancelling headphones money can buy. It is very comfortable and sounds great. 3. Item: Woo Audio components - WA22 - headphone amp. Sennheiser HD800. ALO audio ref 8 balanced cable. Location: Dandenong South Price: $2950.00 ono Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only I really enjoy these units, but I don't have as much time to sit at my desk to use it, as I'd hoped, so I'm transitioning to portable units. I prefer to sell these as the whole package but will separate if I have a buyer for all. This is beautiful in both sound and looks and I know I'll miss it, I just don't want it to sit unused. Sonically it's in great shape and gives a nice warm, but powerful, tube sound. The headphone amp includes two sets of tubes factory box and manual. See photo. Include manuals and factory boxes, so shipping is no problem. More photos on request. Pictures:
  4. Item: Phonon 4000 Headphones Location: Byron Bay Price: $230 + shipping Item Condition: 8/10 (less then 20 hours) Reason for selling: Clear out Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: As new (8/10) compact but stellar sounding headphones. I purchased these to assume the position of an old faithful pair of Sennheiser HD-25’s for DJing. But promptly gave up playing records out so these Phonon’s have largely spent their time since purchase stored away. I won’t rabbit on about the build quality (Japanese attention to detail), the drivers etc, they are extremely comfortable and I found the sound quality of them to be terrific for listening on planes/trains and when worn in a sound booth. Total use wouldn’t exceed 20 hours… This Resident Advisor review is worth a read. Google Phonon 4000 for heaps more positive accolades. Pictures: Off Notify me of replies Cancel

Damn good headphones, had them for a very short time:( have receipt and box. RRP $999

  7. Item: Hifiman HE-4XX Location: Canberra, ACT Price: 220 posted Item Condition: 9/10 (One tiny mark on the left slider mechanism cover) Reason for selling: No longer being used Payment Method: Pickup or post - Cash, Paypal (buyer pays fee or as friend and family) Extra Info: I am selling only because it’s been mandated that all buying has been put on hold until I can clear all my excess audio stuff. I have a set of Massdrop made Sennheiser HD-58X and Hifiman HE-300 that are my daily drivers. Although I love these headphones, I find I am using my HD-58Xs exclusively atm. If I do buy another HP amplifier it will be a Project Ember tube amp so the Senns are the clear choice here and thus the HE-4XXs must go. Amazing headphones but unfortunately they are too hard to drive for all my devices (mobile and Shozi Alien DAP included). A dedicated amplifier, DAP or sound card areencouraged to use these. I could wax lyrical about how good they are but a quick search on google is your friend here. I will say that they are more detailed and have better bass and much better highs then the Senns. The focus pads these came with are being used on my HE-300s so I am selling these with a set of Brainwavz HM5 angle pads which cost a bit over $50 delivered to Oz and sound much better than the original pads anyway. Earphones, headband, earpads, original cable, carrying case/box all in pristine condition. The original leather earpads did show signs of wear so I have just replaced with new genuine Audeze ones. 13. Hi all, I'm looking for something to travel with that will give me the treble-forward-but-not-harsh sound signature of my ATH-A700s (which are far too big). Bluetooth is preferable (I broke my USB-C adaptor), as is NC (I have a few flights coming up) , but I'll go to cable in a heartbeat if the sound is right. I've already tried Audio-Technica ATH-AR5BTs (great build quality, treble that would frighten a dentist), and Sennheiser HD4.50BTNCs (uncomfortable, uninspiring). I realise this $200-500 bracket is a bit low rent for most here, but any tips would be appreciated. Cheers.
  14. Item: Audeze LCD-2C Location:Adelaide Price: $780 Item Condition:Good 9/10, one metal clip on the mini-xlr cable connector is broken, still functions fine, still sits in the headphone correctly and is not loose. it was like this from factory unfortunately. Reason for selling:Not for me Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal gift Extra Info: Comes with ZMF XLR cable and a Luxa2 E-One Aluminum Headset Holder. I had trouble finding a stand that wouldn't stretch the headband, this one does the job well. Purchased from Addicted to Audio March 31st this year Pictures:
  15. Item: Ayon HA-3 Location: Price: sorry been listening to it and thought I must be crazy to let this go Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info:
  16. Item: BEYERDYNAMIC T90 headphones (250 Ohm) Location: Canberra, ACT Price: 150 (+ 20 posted insured Oz wide) Item Condition: 7/10 (please see description) Reason for selling: No longer being used Payment Method: Pickup or post - Cash, Paypal (buyer pays fee or as friend and family) Extra Info: I am selling only because it’s been mandated that all buying has been put on hold until I can clear all my excess audio stuff. I have a set of Massdrop made Sennheiser HD-58X and Hifiman HE-300 that are my daily drivers. These will best most if not all headphones under $500 and are a cheap way to discover decent headphone audio. They are also really good for gaming due to the amount of detail available. They are not bright and quite balanced and are really efficient. Every device I’ve tried has been able to drive them really well so the impedance is not indicative of efficiency here. Now there are a few caveats. When I bought the headphones, the following issues were not made apparent to me: The headphone band movement works but is a bit dicky, the original headphone pads were shot as is the headphone band material and although the headphone cable was replaced with a better one the original connector was poor quality and had to be replaced. So I replaced the headphone pads with Hifiman pads from my HE-300 which are almost the same but maybe a little more firm. I had my wife create a headphone band cover so headphone material (velvet?) doesn't flake off (otherwise it's ok) . I replaced the connector with a quality Nuetriks type which is much more solid and looks 100% better. If these are issues for you, Beyer offers replacements on all most every part of the headphone, even the drivers. I’ve priced these to sell and you will struggle to find a better set of headphones for the money. Pictures:
  17. Item: BEYERDYNAMIC T90 headphones (250 Location: Canberra, ACT Price: 200 delivered and insured (cheaper for pickup) Item Condition: 7/10 (please see description) Reason for selling: Very little use Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal (buyer pays fee or as friend and family) Extra Info: I am selling these to raise funds for 2 channel audio gear. They are amazing sounding headphones and are very detailed but not analytical, they are also very efficient and sound fantastic from a mobile phone. They don't get used since I got my Hifiman HE-4XX as I just prefer the partnership of these with my AUNE X1s. I have my cheaper and indestructible HE-300 for travelling and although this sounds petty, I am a huge fan of the Hifiman look. Happy to audition in Canberra. Currently retails for $850 but can be had on Ebay for $400. I had my wife create a headphone band cover so headphone material (velvet?) doesn't come off onto your head or clothes (otherwise it's ok) . I replaced the connector with a quality Nuetriks type which is much more solid and looks 100% better. If these are issues for you, Beyer offers replacements on all most every part of the headphone, even the drivers; much like Sennheiser does. If these don't sell, I am happy to keep them but for $200 they will best most if not all headphones under $500 and are a cheap way to discover decent headphone audio. They are also really good for gaming due to the amount of detail available. Pictures:
  18. Hello ! I'm a complete newbie on this forum, but not a complete newbie in personal hi-fi. About 2 years ago I've started a work with one goal - make an affordable and good sounding planar magnetic headphones and in case of success produce them in series. Yep, nothing new. Finally project has left refinement stage and moved to "look what I've managed to produce". Name of this project is Verum 1 The main difference between my design and other planars that you can find on market are: 1. Huge driver with oversized magnetic system 2. Efficiency - Verum 1 can be powered by my old Iphone without any problems. Here is (also DIY ) promotional video: I understand that it can look like odd but factory made headphones, but it's 100% DIY. Before I was ready to go to crowdfunding and ask people for money to bring that project to mass production I've sent several samples all over the world and gathered reviews from audio blogs, forum's top posters, youtube reviewers etc. Complete story, promotional video, measurements, links to reviews and specs you can find here: Verum 1 Kickstarter campaign I hope that I don't violate forum rules and admins allow me to start that thread. If community will have any questions I'll try to answer them
  19. Item: Campfire Audio Cascade Headphones Location: Sydney city Price: $500 Item Condition: Used Reason for selling: Not using it much Payment Method: Cash on pickup preferred, or bank deposit Extra Info: Hi. I am selling my Campfire Audio Cascade headphones. I bought it from Minidisc Sydney when this was released in February, but I hardly use it and just sitting around. It is used but in reasonable condition. General wear and tear from use so it is not brand new. It comes with the original box, cable, hard case, tuning filters etc. I also have the original receipt. FYI The cable connector is compatible with HD800 so it may be interesting to experiment with. The new price is $1099 AUD. Please check the store site or the official Campfire website for more info: https://www.minidisc.com.au/campfire-audio-cascade-closed-back-headphone https://campfireaudio.com/shop/cascade/ I would prefer cash on pickup (my house is near Sydney Broadway or can meet anywhere in the city circle area if that works easier), but I can also box it up and ship it within Australia for around $15. Feel free to ask me any question but no trades or unreasonable negotiation. Thanks Pictures:
