  1. Hi, I'm selling an Abyss Diana V1 in excellent condition. No sign of pad wear and a few tiny blemishes on the metal body. Comes with all original packaging and accessories, with a 3.5mm cable and adapter. Selling as I have way too many expensive headphones and only one pair of ears! Fairly firm on price, asking $2600 (RRP $4000), but open to reasonable offers of course. Payment is via Paypal. I will ship Australia-wide at my expense if you pay asking price, otherwise $20 for shipping. Thanks for looking! Photos:
  2. Item: Fostex TH-900 SB, Final Audio D8000 Pro(maybe) Price Range: Negotiable Item Condition: New or Used Extra Info: Hi, If you are looking at selling a (preferably near-new condition) Fostex TH-900 Mk2 Sapphire Blue (blue preferred but other MK2 TH900 fine as well) then contact me now! Also might be interested in the Final Audio D8000 Pro as well. I will pay a fair price, not looking to low-ball anyone. Located in Brisbane. Cheers!
  3. Further information: Headphones are in excellent condition. Hardly used. Comes with all original accessories: • Manual • Cleaning cloth • 6.3mm cable • 4-pin XLR balanced cable • Cable pouch • USB stick that includes manual, sound signature as recorded from the factory and certificate of authenticity matched to the serial number on the headband These headphones have the most amazing, clean sound but I tend to mostly listen to music that doesn't take advantage of this style and I always end of using my Fostex headphones, so am selling these. If shipped, will be packaged securely with insurance and signature. Photos:
  4. Further information: Have had these for the past two years & they've been my every day headphones, haven't left my room but you can see on the leather pads there's a bit of wear on the outside but the inside of the pads is still in perfect condition. Sound wise they're as great as ever, haven't had a single issue with them. Happy for anyone to come & give them a listen, happy to post anywhere in australia also! Comes with a custom cable 6ft cable, the stock audeze cable & the travel case. Feel free to shoot me any questions! Photos: PLEASE READ If you are advertising multiple items, you must post one bulk price only, or post seperate ads for each item If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you don't include photographs of the actual item being sold, your ad will not be approved
  5. Further information: I've had many headphones over the years and these are one of my favourites. They are so smooth and easy to listen to but they have enough detail and energy to remain involving. I can listen to them for hours without fatigue. The wooden cups are absolutely beautiful and the build quality is excellent. For impressions see, eg, https://www.head-fi.org/threads/zmf-verite.890270/; https://www.superbestaudiofriends.org/index.php?threads/zmf-new-headphones-vérité-and-aeolus.6893/. I purchased from the NZ dealer Capisco (before there was an Australian dealer). Mine are in excellent condition with probably only a couple of hundred hours on them. I have the receipt and all packaging and accessories (including wooden box, XLR cable, 1/4 inch cable and ownership card). Current price to buy locally (or delivered from the US) is around $4,000 AUD. Photos:
  6. Further information: Planar Magnetic! Dekoni Audio and Fostex have teamed up to create a custom variant of the world renowned Fostex T50RP MKIII Headphone. Ear Pads make all the difference, comes with two ear pads for your customisation. Dekoni Hybrid Ear Pads, angled, internally perforated, and sealed on the outside (fitted). Dekoni Audio Elite Velour Ear Pads (brand new sealed). Removable cable terminated at 6.35mm, does come with 3.5mm adaptor but not recommended in practice (use a tail if required or aftermarket 3.5mm-3.5mm cable) Unfortunately these over ears aren't my thing. Contact me for any queries. Happy shopping. Will post anywhere in Australia included in price. Photos:
  7. Item: Focal Elear/Elex headphones Price Range: $3-600 Item Condition: New or Used Extra Info: Hi all, missed out on a pair new in box recently. If anyone looking to upgrade please drop me a pm as would be interested in taking them off your hands 😀
  8. Hey all, pretty new to the audiophile scene. Currently using a pair of $90 Mixcder E10s and I'm exploring upgrade options. The headphones will mainly be used to listen to music at home. If they're also good for gaming that's a plus, but it's less important. I think I would prefer a nice balanced sound with lots of detail and good separation between instruments. (My E10s sound a bit cramped and the bass is slightly overpowering.) I'm not particularly fussed about comfort or build quality and I'm okay with making sacrifices there if it gets me better audio. I have about $250-300 (very flexible) to spend on the headphones and I'm willing to also buy a budget DAC/Amp if it gives a significant improvement over my sound card (Sound Blaster Audigy FX). Some of the models I've seen and are considering include DT 990 Pro (250Ω), HE35X, HE400i, HE4XX, HD58X (although availability seems low) and AD700X. Does anyone have recommendations on what I should get? Thanks.
  9. Further information: Bought new from Duratone Hifi more than one year ago, so no more warranty. Just tried in few hours and then put it back in the box since then because I preferred open back headphones as Hifiman. Even not burn in yet. All accessories included as in pictures but not the headphone hanger. Price is included shipping in Oz. 10. Further information: I’d always been keen to hear these, NAD’s first headphones, especially as they were designed by Paul Barton from PSB Audio using the Roomfeel tecnology he developed and received many rave reviews on their release, particularly from Tyl at InnerFidelity who spoke of them as a successor to the HD600 [sadly nearly all his archives seem deleted from the web now, a great loss]. So finally purchased these new 1 month ago and I’d have to agree with the consensus that these are wonderful phones at their price point, to my ears very slightly on the warm engaging side of neutral with great tonal balance across the spectrum, fantastic soundstage for closed cans, with really good detail, separation and instrument placement. I’m only letting them go because they are too similar IMO to the Messe 99 Classic which I already own and I’m trying to keep my possessions to a minimum. They’ve had maybe 20hrs use absolute max, so are in immaculate condition, come with all original accessories and packaging and postage is included in price. Any questions please ask, here’s a selection of reviews. https://audiophilestyle.com/ca/reviews/nad-viso-hp50-with-roomfeel-headphone-review-r720/ https://www.headfonia.com/nad-viso-hp50-unique-headphone/2/ https://www.soundstagexperience.com/index.php/equipment-menu/572-nad-viso-hp50-headphones Photos:
  11. Further information: It's pre-2019 version (I call it Marble ver). Purchased in July 2019 from A2A (RRP $448), still in warranty for around 1 year. The condition is mint, no scratch or dent. Listened for around 100-150 hours. Also got Dekoni Elite earpads (RRP $115) from A2A in June this year, so it's still quite new. I throw in a 2m customised 4-pin XLR cable (RRP $50) with gotham cable and Neutrik connector. Hence, original price for this combo is about $610. Comes with original box and accessories. I prefer to sell them as a whole. IMO, HD600 is one of the most popular and classical model at this price range. The balanced cable is made of gotham high purity OFC wire and 4-pin Neutrik connector. 12. Further information: I've used this for about a year and a half. The leather on the headband is cracking a little (pictured below) but it's in good condition otherwise. The ear pads have been washed. I have a Zen DAC if you wish to audition it. Photos:
  13. Selling my Audio-Technica ATH-A900X's. Hi, I'm selling my Audio-Technica ATH-A900X's, they've seen some use over the years, and have a little wear and tear (as pictured), but otherwise sound great still. I've replaced the original pads recently with Dekoni Elite leather pads, and also replaced a broken 3D wing with a 3D printed model, and superglued it in place, as well as modified the headphones to have a tighter clamp-force, as they usually require constant adjustment to prevent from falling off one's head (unless you have a ginormous head). Available for pickup, or postage at buyers expense, feel free to message me for further details.
  14. Further information: All 3 items are in immaculate condition and are rarely used (this is my second headphone set up). Headphone amp comes with 2 set of tubes. Plenty of information and good reviews on the internet. Headphones and music player come with original boxes and accessories. Headphone amp doesn’t have box. Price includes postage (flat rate) Australia wide. 15. I picked up a Hifiman Arya yesterday from Minidisc, upgrading from a Sennheiser HD660S. In the lead up to buying the Arya, I brought my HD660S in and demoed it side by side with the Hifiman Ananda, Focal Clear and the Arya, and picked the Arya. The Ananda was pretty close to the Arya, but the Arya was ultimately a bit clearer and smoother. The Clear felt like an entirely different beast and I can see myself wanting to add a Focal one day in the far off future (perhaps a Utopia or a Stellia?), budget allowing. At the moment, I have it booked up to a Schiit Modi 3/Magni Heresy stack and it sounds excellent. I was thinking of upgrading the stack to a Drop THX 789 and a Schiit Modius, but after hearing the headphones on my own gear, I decided to hold on to the Schiit stack for the moment. I'm no audiophile so take my comments on sound with a massive grain of salt. To me, the Aryas are open, airy, detailed, fast and have surprisingly good bass extension (but not impact/punch) to my (untrained) ears. The treble is very sweet and just sparkles. That said, the mids are not as sweet as the Sennheiser and I can definitely now see why people have multiple headphones in their collection. While the Arya has many advantages over the HD660S, there are a certain things the Sennheiser does that the Arya (nor the Clear) don't do as well. The Arya in no way makes the HD660S redundant. I'm selling the Sennheisers, but maybe I'll try to replace them down the road with some ZMFs... It's such a dangerous road! Appearance wise, the Aryas look more stupid/outlandish than the HD660S which look like a model of an architectural concept. Also, it annoys me that the Arya's cables are about a third of the length compared to the HD660S and the unboxing experience is not as nice. I would be very interested in your thoughts on whether upgrading my amp to a 789 or 887 while still using single ended would make a noticeable difference to sound quality (noting that the Heresy has more power for single ended). Or alternatively, whether I would notice any difference upgrading my DAC.
  16. I am buying a set of STAX L700 headphones and energiser. My question is how do I incorporate these pieces into my current system which is MacBook Pro running Audirvana into Arcam irDACII via USB which is connected to Arcam A39 integrated amp by twin RCAs and to Arcam CDS27 streamer/CD by coaxial (ie to DAC). Will I connect the energiser to my DAC or one of the other pieces? I've searched but couldn't find an answer to this. And if it's blindingly obvious, sorry.... Thanks
  17. Further information: I've owned these headphones for a bit under 6 months and they are in excellent condition and work perfectly. I thought I wouldn't have GAS again for a while. Unfortunately, I walked into Minidisc and made the mistake of trying the Arya, and I can't get it out of my head. Hopefully I can resist trying amp and DACs the next time I'm there... Pick up in Chatswood, NSW. 18. Further information: Bought from Addicted to Audio. Still sealed in box. No longer needed. Had a change of circumstances so have no use for it. Photos:
  19. Further information: Hello all, I bought this Focal Clear from Minidisc only a couple of months ago (can provide receipt if needed) and would like to sell it as I'm not getting enough use out of it to justify the price. It is in like-new condition and I have bought headband protectors that I will include. These are a stunning set of headphones and are wonderful to listen to. They come with all original packaging, all 3 sets of cables (6.3 mm, 3.5 mm, and XLR) along with the hard carrying case. This is a fair price IMO as it is currently retailing for $2200. 20. Further information: only 3 months old. Still under warranty. I have the original box and the receipt for 2 year warranty. Purchased on 31/03/2020 at Addicted to Audio Newtown. Only 157 hours played. Still looks and feel brandnew. 22. Further information: I bought this unit in September 2015. I then purchased a much more substantial headphone amp and this was left in its packaging at the back of the cupboard. I have only taken it out once, which is to take these photos attached. It has decent reviews for a USD200 unit: https://www.cnet.com/news/upgrade-your-headphones-sound-with-musical-fidelitys-v-can-amplifier/ It is available for pick-up or else if you would like it posted to you, that can be arranged at extra cost (let's say $10 within Australia), it will come in its original packaging. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  23. Hi everyone, I'm am selling my new Master & Dynamic MW65 Wireless Headphones. These are in mint condition & they sound great, however there's another set of cans that I have fallen in love with, so I am putting these up for sale. Everything is in perfect working order. MODEL MW65 ACTIVE NOISE-CANCELLING Feed-forward and feed-back (hybrid) active noise-cancelling technology MATERIALS Leather, Anodized Aluminum DIMENSIONS 165mm x 190mm x 66mm CABLES 1.5m Standard 3.5mm Audio Cable, USB-C to USB-C Charging Cable (with USB-A Adapter) HEADPHONE CONNECTION Optional 3.5mm Passive Audio Input, Two-Prong Flight Adapter MICROPHONE TYPE Beamforming Noise Reduction Mic Array VOICE ASSISTANT Google Assistant built-in, voice assistant enabled DRIVERS 40mm Beryllium WEIGHT 245g EAR COUPLING Over-Ear IMPEDENCE 32 Ohms EAR PADS Replaceable Lambskin-Wrapped Memory Foam BLUETOOTH PROFILE Bluetooth 4.2 Supporting AptX, AptX HD and SBC.
  24. Further information: Bought just 2 months ago. Sticker on left side is torn off by me (in order to grab the right side to put it on without take a look) as photo shows, others are prefect. All accessories included(bag is unused), comes with receipt. BTW the impedance is 470ohms, sensitivity is 98db, so don't purchase it when you don't have an amp Can post but I can only cover $10 for postage, but this headphone is a light-weighted one tho.
