  1. Item: Emotiva XPA-3 Gen 2 Location: Perth WA Metro Price: $850 Item Condition: Very Good, top back of amp has a few small scratches (see pics) Reason for selling: Upgraded Payment Method: Pickup - Cash Extra Info: I am the second owner of this power amp, and purchased off DTV member Smundy in August 2015. He purchased it in late 2013. 200 wpc into 8 ohms, 330 wpc into 4 ohms, all channels driven. Have used it with a pair of Paradigm Studio 60s (rears) and CC690 (centre) alongside an XPA-2 (also for sale). Never used anywhere near reference levels, and am probably averaging twice weekly use for 1-3 hours as my main usage ends up to be on a PC, so I would say lightly use across my 2 years of ownership. The Gen2 line was released mid to late 2013 so would be under the 5 year warranty. I also have the original boxes. Pictures:
  2. Item: Emotiva XPA-2 Gen 2 Location: Perth WA Metro Price: $800 Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: Upgraded Payment Method: Pickup - Cash Extra Info: I am the second owner of this power amp, and purchased off fellow SNA member muznuts in December 2014. I believe he had it for 6-12 months prior, this may still be on warranty. 300 wpc into 8 ohms, 500 wpc into 4 ohms, all channels driven. Have used it with a pair of Paradigm Studio 100s alongside an XPA-3 (also for sale). Never used anywhere near reference levels, and am probably averaging twice weekly use for 1-3 hours as my main usage ends up to be on a PC, so I would say lightly use across my 2.5 years of ownership. The Gen2 line was released mid to late 2013 so would be under the 5 year warranty. I also have the original boxes. Pictures:
  3. Item: Emotiva XMC-1 GEN 2 AV Processor Location: Perth Price: $2,100 $1,850 inc registered shipping nationwide (Unit has an RRP of $3,999) Item Condition: Pristine Reason for selling: Decluttering as getting ready to move house Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal (buyer pays fees), Bank Deposit Extra Info: Emotiva dont need an introduction, but this HT processor is fantastic. This was purchased about two and a half years ago from Emotiva direct, before Final Link became official distributors in Australia. Unit has hardly been used, as it was supposed to be used in a new home build that never eventuated at the time. Supplied with all accessories (minus manual, link below) and packaging. Unit itself is immaculate. This unit can also be upgraded to support HDMI2.0 and HDCP2.2, as well as Dolby Atmos and DTS-X, however I believe its possible these add-on cards may need to be acquired via Emotiva direct from the US, rather than Final Link (they are currently not available in Australia yet anyways). Also, the Dirac license is not transferable, so a new license (purchasing the full Dirac software) would be required to run Dirac on this unit. 5. Item: Emotiva XMC-1 Gen 2 Home Theatre AV PREAMP/PROCESSOR (HT receiver but with no amps) Location: Glen Waverley, Victoria Item condition description: BRAND NEW SEALED BOX Price and price conditions: $2995 Usual Price: $3999 http://www.lifestylestore.com.au/emotiva-xmc-1-generation-2-7-2-a-v-preamplifier-processor.html Reason for selling: In between jobs. Need money for house repayments. Payment Methods: Paypal (add 3%), Cash - Pickup, Bank Transfer. Extra info: I have not opened it since I bought this direct from Emotiva. Between the time I bought it up to the time it arrived, I had an enforced change in jobs and I am tight on funds. Make no mistake, this is my dream AV PREAMP/PROCESSOR with an unequaled dirac le auto tune optimizer for it's price range and I will buy this again once I am not so tight financially. Keep in mind this unit is without any amplification (which will usually aid in sound quality) and will require you to have a power amp to pair it with. If you want I can also upload a picture of the shipping box. It's still sealed inside.

Very accurate sounding and I did not give it up when I had the chance to buy an ME 75B (which is a legend). Have a read of the reviews I have written on SNA and you will see how enthusiastic I am about this amp. I imported this from the USA in Dec 2014 and have had no trouble at all.Pictures:

  13. Very reluctant sale, amazing power amp. 5 x 200 watts at 8ohms with all channels running. AMP weighs 32kg AMP is in perfect condition and has been hardly used. Comes with original double boxing and packaging. Included cables are: 6 x QED Reference Audio-1 phono cables (5 for amp channels, the other for a sub) 1 x large gold plated heavy duty power cord. (see picture attached to get an idea) $1250 (plus postage would probably be another $25-$75 ontop) Pickup from Canberra otherwise I'm happy to arrange a courier. It is large and heavy so it would be costly, if you're interested, send me your address and I can get quotes. For now it is still in my equipment rack and the boxes are in storage. Please allow a couple of days after sale for me to disconnect everything and package it up as it's a pretty sizable job. thanks, Chris
  14. Hey guys, Emotive announced the new XPA Gen 3 power amps which are modular, looks pretty damn cool. This allows the buyer to upgrade the amp as their system grow over the years. What do you guys think? http://emotiva.com/products/amplifiers/xpa-gen3

  16. Hi guys, looking for some advice regarding my set up. Currently i am borrowing 2x NAD C272 amps, which are running in "bridged mono" mode, each driving one Dali Blue 6006. The sound is fantastic to my ears, and a quantum improvement over my Yamaha RX-V3800 receiver, which is now on quasi pre amp duty. I am considering a couple of options, specifically around adding a third external amplification source for my centre channel speaker, which is a Dali Suite. First option is to buy the two NADs i already have on hand (which i know have been well looked after and are in very good condition for their age), and find another for the centre channel. Depending on which model and whether second hand or new, i'm looking at anywhere between $600 - $1700 for the third amp. total cost on this basis for the three NADs will be between $1600 - $2700. Looking around, i have found a couple of interesting 3 channel amplification options, in the Anthem MC30, and the Emotiva XPA -3. I haven't heard these, nor investigated pricing as yet. I would however expect the Anthem to come in nicely under $3K (Eastwood HiFi possibly) - Emotiva - unknown, given their local pricing hasn't been released as yet. Has anyone got an opinion on the NADs vs the abovementioned, or potentially other options i'm not aware of? Appreciate any advice on this! Cheers, Scott
  17. I've serviced a few pieces of Emotiva gear over the last couple of years, an XDA-2, 4 x XPA-1L's, 3 x UMC-200's, a pair of Airmotive 6's and an XPA-2. Their tech support is first class and replacement parts are despatched promptly. If you get stuck let me know, I'm based in Sydney but I have access to reliable freight at reasonable rates. It's not my primary source of income so my rates are very reasonable. Cheers Gary
  18. Has anybody dealt with a defective Emotiva product under warranty? Looks like mine has bitten the dust after a few years. Will be emailing them but bloody hell it could be a potential pain in the a$$.
  19. Hi all. I'm looking for an amp to power my Neuphonix/epicentrix mains & center. Really hoping to find a bargain in here ( like everyone else ) At the moment, i'm looking at Emotiva or Elektra. Has there ever been a group buy on Emotiva gear? Would that be worth wile someone in the e-club organising one? atleast to save on shipping maybe? *Edit- I currently have a Denon X4000 which will still power 4x Acoustix/KDX surrounds and possibly 2 more acoustix front height or wides.

  24. Due to a possible relocation soon, I regrettably need to sell some of my beloved equipment. All pieces are in excellent condition and the XPR is still under 3.5 years of transferable warranty, for that added peace of mind. The combo was used to drive a set of Paradigm S8’s along with matching centre and surrounds. It has been a joy to listen to and when required, could really get the neighbourhood pumping! Up for sale are the following: 1 X Emotiva XPR5: http://shop.emotiva....s/products/xpr5 1 X Sherbourn PT- 7020A with the Latest Firmware installed. http://www.old.quali...&product=187299 2 Pairs (4 cables) of Cardas Hexlink Golden 5C 1.5 Meter XLR: All have matching remotes, manuals, calibration microphone etc. Unfortunately I cannot locate the Sherbourn’s original box, I don’t know where it has gone, but I do have a stand in. The XPR 5 is well over 3K to import with GST, Custom Duty, and Shipping etc added. The Sherbourn has a RRP of 3.6K. I was after 3.5K for the lot, Pre, Amp and cables. I would prefer to sell as one lot rather than splitting, but feel free to PM me with offers. (I’m not desperate, so please no 1 dollar offers.) Thanks for looking.
  25. Extra Info: Purchase late 2010. I don't have the original packaging, so I'd rather not post. Included is the Metal remote (not used - I use my universal for the whole system), Set up Microphone & Power cable Only blemish is what looks like a black texta mark on the volume control – not noticable from the listening chair.
