  13. Item: FS Canon EOS-M APS-C mirrorless compact and lenses Location: Melbourne Price: $900 for bundle or can split at 50% of new price Item Condition: Mint as new Reason for selling: Kicking into renovations and de cluttering... Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, bank deposit Extra Info: this is the amazingly compact canon EOS-M mirrorless camera that packs a APS-C sensor the same as the canon 7D DSLR ! included in this bundle is quite an array of lenses and gear, including Eos m body RRP $369 11-22mm(17.6-35.2mm equiv) Image stabiliser wide zoomRRP $405 SOLD 18-55mm(28.8-88mm equiv) image stabiliser standard zoom RRP $283 22mm (35mm equiv) prime lens RRP $202 55-200mm(88-320mm equiv) Image stabiliser telephoto zoom RRP $469 SOLD EF-EF-M mount adapter allowing the use of any canon EF lens on this body RRP $121 Totalling RRP of $1849 for this kit I originally bought the EOS M as a kit from digital camera warehouse locally, with the 18-55mm, 22mm for $1059, this did come with a little add on flash but am swapping that essentially for the mount adapter, plus also throwing in the rather amazingly compact and capable lenses in the 11-22mm and 55-220 that increases the versatility of the eos m as a body covering a huge zoom range from 11mm to 200mm or 17.6mm-320mm equivalent. if wondering how compact this camera and lenses are, well the eosm body is about the same size as your typical point and shoot compact and even with the 18-55mm lens is very pocketable ! comes with original boxes, manuals and accessories plus original receipt for camera, happy to demo if in melbourne or ship to anywhere in australia - please ask me for a quote. can check eos m body price here, https://www.jbhifi.com.au/cameras/compact-cameras/canon/canon-eos-m-18mp-digital-camera-body-only/90831/ can check lens prices here, http://www.digidirect.com.au/shopping/search?x=0&y=0&viewtype=list&searchBox=ef-m note the prices quoted are obviously for real genuine canon australia rather than grey imports, some pictures, Pictures:

  17. Hi all, I am in the market for a new camera. I have no idea about cameras and though maybe someone out there could offer me some advice? I want to replace my old point and shoot, it works fine but is soooo slow. By the time the picture is taken the kids have normal ran off and I have missed the moment, and yes it could be a user issue:) I am looking for an improvement in speed and picture quality. As I understand it a DSLR would address these issues however I am put of by the size and though mirrorless may be the way to go. Having said that I am considering the Canon EOS 100D as it is a small DSLR. I have read the reviews on the mirroless cameras and I am still a little confused. Will they address the speed issues I have? I would hate to buy something and it is not better than what I have. The ones I am considering are: Canon EOS 100D - A smaller DSLR and at $539 at Kogan looks like a good buy. Canon EOS M - I have seen mixed reviews on this, some like it others say the AF is slow? Sony NEX - Not sure which model. Samsung NX2000 - Don't know much about this but is in my price range. Panasonic Lumix - Once again not sure which model as there seems to be a lot? My other concern is I am not sure where I get my value. I mean being a simple user should I look for the base model, will I regret having not have spent a little more? Or will I spend more on features that I will never use. I am really looking for a camera with better picture quality, quicker and good video. If anyone has used any of these or has any advice I would love to hear it. Thanks Darren
  18. Gentlemen (and Ladies), I need your kind advice in relation to an easy to use allround camera that takes a better than average photo and has a good level of anti shake built in. Is there such a beast to be had in the under $400 category used or new? Thanks Tax
