Further Information: These speakers were used in my second system and had low hours, original packaging and in mint condition, Grill covers included. Emit 20 is a high-performance standmountspeaker derived from our Evoke, Contour i and Confidence series. It gives a stellar combination of detail and punch for small to medium-sized rooms. Mid/bass power and control Emit 20 uses an 18cm MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) woofer, based on the one we’ve used in the Evoke series. MSP is a material we developed in-house, and have used for many years on our most renowned models. The cone itself is a one-piece design; the dust-cap is moulded as part of the playing surface, which gives it a solid connection to the voice-coil that moves it back and forth. You’ll hear that connection as supreme control and detail in the low and midrange frequencies. The voice-coil itself is aluminium, wound onto a two-layer glass-fibre former. We’ve a long history of using aluminium wire in our voice-coils –and for good reason. It’s light, so doesn’t impede fine movement, and we can get more windings on the former for a given length of wire. That means more ‘BL’, or magnetic power. More power means more punch. We’ve boosted that further, too, by coating the aluminium wire in copper. Combined with the stacked ferrite magnet system and new surround, that gives Emit 20’s long-throw mid/bass driver all the bass power you could want, even at high volumes, combined with amazing control over midrange frequencies (where instruments such as guitars, vocals and violins reside). Low ballers will be ignored (sorry) I would rather keep them if that's the case. Solid Steel Stands are not included, however, these are for sale so make me an offer. Further information: Great condition and review very well, very surprised by how good, detailed and smooth these Polk's sound compared to their other harsh/bright models I've had (like their RTi range). Also surprised by the bass and large image these put out for the size, up there with floor standing speakers. Best of all they are so cheap too! No original boxes sorry so prefer pickup as first option (about 40-50mins from west from Brisbane). I can get a suitable box/packaging from my storage to post for keen buyer (allow a couple of days for me to arrange it), price to post likely AU wide is around $35-$40 using Sendle (PM for a quote). Any questions please ask. Thanks. Photos:

Further information: In excellent condition a pair of Australian Whatmough C11 bookshelf speakers - refer to photos. 2 - way speaker, silk dome tweeter with 6.5inch woofer - front reflex port. Finish is a beautiful real wood veneer - Burnt Cherry. Sensitivity: 87db. Grills in perfect condition, I've been running these in Bi-Wire but will require jumper cables if not bi-wiring. In general a very relaxing, smooth listen with a fairly neutral response, paired very well with a Marantz PM-17 amplifier. A great testament to the work of local Colin Whatmough. *Attached screen shot of measured frequency response in my own room for reference - measured with a Blue Snowball MIC and REW. Photos: Thanks for looking.

Advice: Replacing Bookshelf’s
GreatSouthernTime posted a topic in Speakers, Soundbars and Subwoofers
Hey Guys. sadly my cleaner just dropped and broke my bookshelf speakers, a trusty set of Jamo e610. I am wanting to replace them but before I do I wanted some advice on models to look at. I am running a modest set up made up of a REGA P1 into a vintage Technics SU-2500 Amp. I usually play fairly chilled music and don’t blow the volume so a natural sound would be preferred. Appreciate any help. Thanks -
