  1. Further information: Bel Canto CD3t CD Transport, DAC3 DAC/Digital Preamp & REF 500S Stereo Power Amp at 1/3 of RRP!! The power amp and transport are current models with RRP of $4080 and $2350 respectively, the DAC is an older model just under $4K. The power amp should not be confused with the earlier S500. The 3 components look and sound beautiful together, as you'd expect from a prestigious US brand like Bel Canto, and can be stacked for an ultra-compact footprint. Separating items might be possible if not sold as a system quickly. PM for separate prices. Despite its size the power amp is very powerful, rated up to 250W RMS @ 8 ohms/400W RMS @ 4 ohms, with balanced and RCA inputs. It's quality is demonstrated by outstanding specifications like S/N ratio of 125dB. A combination of the latest advanced components for the custom input stage such as Caddock resistors, ultra-low ESR decoupling capacitors, heavy gauge all-steel microphony reducing chassis, low noise regulated power supplies and highly efficient output stage reveal all the subtle nuances of music with extraordinary impact and resolution. The elegant switching output stage eliminates thermal distortion mechanisms caused by changes in operating temperature, while heavily regulated switch-mode power supplies generate little heat. These advances make such a compact and powerful device possible, saving space as well as shortening the signal path for greater information transfer. The DAC was an upmarket model with comprehensive features for its size, including inputs for AES, USB, Toslink and SPDIF with sockets for coax or BNC, plus balanced and RCA outputs. One of its most useful features is the ability to switch between fixed and variable output. When fed into a preamp fixed mode applies, but when purely digital sources are used it can drive a power amp directly, with volume controlled by the variable output setting. As well as transferring more information via a direct signal path, this configuration saves the cost of a separate preamp with associated cables, resulting in an incredibly compact and cost-effective stack. In listening tests I've found this DAC to be particularly smooth, making it an ideal partner for the detailed and dynamic presentation of the REF 500S. It comes with all original packaging, an easy-to-use remote and manual. The Transport is designed for optimal Redbook playback, but will also play CDR/W and the Redbook layer on SA CDs. One of the things I like about this player is the AES digital output, which provides the preferred transfer of information to a DAC with properly balanced AES digital input, like the DAC3. It is fully programmable via the supplied remote. This component is the most recent purchase and has had little use. It comes with original packaging and manual. Donation to SNA on sale. 2. Further information: Purchased app. 2 weeks ago from Conrad1970. Great amp, but something else came up (as always...). Happy to pass it to the next buyer at this great price. Can demo for local buyers. Local sale preferred. 3. Further information: This beautifully built combination is also available separately. PM for prices. The REF500S is a current model with RRP over $4K and therefore priced higher, but still cheaper than I've seen elsewhere. It should not be confused with the earlier S500 which is obviously worth less. Ultra compact but very powerful, rated up to 250W RMS @ 8 ohms/ 400W RMS @ 4 ohms, with balanced and RCA inputs. Bel Canto's quality is demonstrated by outstanding specifications like S/N ratio of 125dB. 7. Further information: This beautifully built combination is also available separately at $1150 for the DAC and $1750 for the power amp. The amp is the newer of the pair and therefore priced higher, but still under half its last RRP of $3795 and cheaper than I've seen elsewhere. Super compact but very powerful, rated at up to 250W RMS @ 8 ohms/400W RMS @ 4 ohms, with balanced and RCA inputs. The quality of Bel Canto is demonstrated by outstanding specifications such as S/N ratio of 125dB. The quality of Bel Canto speaks for itself with outstanding specifications such as S/N ratio of 125dB. Item: Bel Canto 3.7 Dac/Preamp Location: Perth Price: $2800.00 Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: In excellent condition, recently purchased from fellow SNA'er. I would happily keep this Bel Canto as it is an awesome Dac/Preamp and I have had a few quality dacs over the past 18 months to be able to comfortably say it even bests the highly regarded Luxman D-06. Unfortunately this has to go as I have just purchased a pair of Mola Mola Kaluga mono blocks at considerable expense and I need to claw back some funds. Happy to post Aus wide in original packaging at buyers cost. If using PayPal buyer to cover fees. Well below current RRP $7070.00 Pictures:

  14. Item: Bel Canto DAC2.7 & CD3t (DAC/preamp and CD transport Location: Forestville NSW Price: $1,200 for DAC2.7, $900 for CD3t, both for $2,000 Item Condition: Used, no visible scratches Reason for selling: No longer required - reducing systems Payment Method: Paypal (friend) preferred. Extra Info: These are both from the current e.ONE range from Bel Canto. I am the second user (I'm aware of) of these. Both purchased from SNA members. Both working well. Earlier in the year a fault with the DAC2.7 was rectified by Kimil Electronics (replaced power transformer and opamp) and worked perfectly fine afterwards. Link to site. http://www.belcantodesign.com/home/eone/dac-2-7/ http://www.belcantodesign.com/home/eone/cd3t/ A discount is offered for both sold together, which is my preference (I'll include a Gotham AES/EBU cable as well). I will separate if I get interest and no takers for both in the next few days. I have both original boxes and can ship interstate at buyer's expense. Pictures:
  15. Item: Bel Canto CD3t - CD Transport Location: Melbourne Eastern Suburbs Price: $800.00 Item Condition: Excellent, looks almost brand new, plays perfectly Reason for selling: Too Many CD Players Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, COD Only Extra Info: Bought this from another SNAer a year ago, played about 5 discs and then went into storage as my room was being renovated. The sound was beautiful and sweet even though it was plugged in to my humble Onkyo AVR. A good DAC will certainly do it more justice. For those unfamiliar with Bel Canto, they produce very good solid products that work flawlessly. This CD3t is solid as brick (8.2kg). Comes with remote control, BNC to RCA adaptor for digital out, and power cord. No original box. The current RRP of this unit is more than A$2,100. Trust me, if you are in the market for a good red book CD transport, you don't want to miss this! Please note this is a CD transport, and it requires connection to a digital input (AES/EBU, BNC, or coaxial) in an Amp or DAC to deliver music. This digital cable is not included. I can deliver for free to Kilsyth or Knox areas at mutually agreed and convenient time, if sold at my stated price, and provided payment is made up front via bank transfer. Otherwise, I need cash payment on pick up. For more information on the Bel Canto CD3t, please refer to this website: http://www.krispyaudio.com.au/products/Bel-Canto-e.One-CD3t-CD-Transport.html
