  1. Further Information: Amplifier was bought from Westcost Hifi in Perth and it's less than 5 month old, like new, best value for money amplifier on the market. Save yourself a good 1000$ off the price! This is proper stereo powerful amplifier that is Audiophile grade, not some cheap 7. a milion channnel crap. It has a good phono stage so you can run your vinyl record player. Pickup in Kingsley. Specs in the last photo.
  2. I mainly used it for great stereo sound and for watching a movie with a central channel. I auditioned some modern stereo DACs about a year ago and still thought this pre-amplifier sounded better and so kept it. All channels and inputs work with no faults. The front display is a little dim but remains readable. The front volume knob and Power Button have visible ware. The remote is probably the aspect with the most ware.
  3. Budget classic here. Even the geeks at ASR don’t hate it, concluding, “Nice to go back in time and test amplifiers which were simple to understand and simple to measure. The NAD C 320BEE seems to have been competently designed for modest power delivery at a budget price. In that regard, it completely succeeds in its mission.” It will happily power moderately sensitive speakers to ‘neighbour-annoying levels’ with ease. This amp even powered my hungry KEF 104.2’s until I spent $2,000 to give them the extra juice they require to really sing. It’s a very clean and tidy looking amp in the typical NAD dark grey. Sounds great. In perfect working order. Comes with the remote and manual and original jumpers. Some slight fading on the speaker terminals from time but otherwise in excellent condition.
  4. Further Information: My beloved NAD M51 DAC up for sale. Had it a few years now, bought from new. Now replaced by an admittedly better but far more expensive Gustard X26pro. NAD DAC is working perfectly, sounds great and is in excellent condition - Except the remote which isn't So I've included a generic one that works ok. Has loads of inputs and a very good digital attenuator - I ran it directly into my power amp which worked well and easily drove it to max power. Happy to Demo, or can post insured - very strong double boxes and foam packaging so should be fine. Low price to sell ! More info : https://nadelectronics.com/product/m51-direct-digital-dac/ Review : https://www.whathifi.com/nad/m51/review
  5. Further Information: HDMI add on card for various NAD products using the MDC expansion slots. Used for a few months in a C658 Pre/DAC that has just been sold. Will cover postage within Australia.
  6. Further Information: Unique pre with Dirac in excellent condition. All original packaging, remote, microphone and cabling. This one comes with the optional HDM-2 MDC card allowing for source switching/audio etc. Pickup or can work with buyers to arrange freight/insurance at their cost.
  7. Hey everyone, new to the board here and feeling very welcome. I've got an old 1990s NAD 310 integrated amp that I bought while living in Melbourne about 7-8 years ago. The fella who sold it to me stated it was tweaked by a one Richard McDonald, and when I auditioned this little unit I was blown away. At the time, I had dug up what I could find about Richard and his modifications to amps as well as the Quasimodo stuff he built. This little amp left a lasting impression on me, so much so that it was my only possession (along with some PSB Image B5 speakers) that I had shipped when I moved to the USA. My wife and kids had shipped heaps of stuff in comparison, but this was the only thing that mattered to me and I knew I wouldn't be able to replace it. To this day it is still my main (read: only) amp for listening, and it has been running off of a step-up transformer so I can power the 240v unit over here on 120v. What I'm trying to find out is what kind of impedance / wattage this thing is rated for after the mods. I know, I know, I can probably find out by using a multimeter and a specific resistor, but I'm not very savvy with electronics like that and I am afraid I might damage something. Not to mention I don't live anywhere that I can easily buy a decent multimeter or even a package of resistors. I live very deep in the middle of nowhere. The main reason I want to know is because my dear wife has done something unimaginable and bought me a pretty ridiculous set of speakers for Christmas (ridiculous in terms of the standards set forth by my wallet). She did this without asking specs or really anything, and picked them out herself. I'm impressed, gobsmacked, and incredibly grateful. So my question is this: These new speakers are rated at 200w @ 4ohms. Will this little modified NAD fry these new speakers my wife bought for me? I'm afraid to find out the hard way. I likely wouldn't be able to come up with $400 USD for a "reasonable" integrated amp for at least another few months, and I am hoping I'll be able to enjoy these with my family on Christmas. Thanks in advance for reading my rant and ramble, and for any insight or helpful input you can provide.
  8. Further Information: The beast is for sale. M25 7 Chanel power amplifier. Warning this is a power house class A/B. 160W all channels driven - dynamic power, well over 220w per channel. Weight - 43.7KG x probably require two people to lift it. THX Ultra 2 certification. The THX Ultra 2 certified M25 is rated at 160-watts per channel with a rated distortion of 0.03 - All Channels Driven (ACD) simultaneously, from 20Hz to 20kHz.) NAD claims the M25 can deliver its full-rated power, free from distortion for hours on end. Runs cool. The M25 is actually made up of seven individual mono block amplifiers with each channel using a balanced junction FET input stage to eliminate cross-talk, resulting in exceptionally low levels of noise and distortion. Additionally, NAD employs a unique electronic ground isolation circuit to prevent ground loop noise in the system-a common problem with many complex multi-channel systems. https://nadelectronics.com/product/m25-7-channel-amplifier/ scroll to bottom of page to download manual. 9. Further Information: This MDC card enables you to run an HDMI cable from your TV or DVD/Set top b to compatible NAD amplifiers and listen to TV/Movies through your system. 2nd owner but not used by me. I bought this from a fellow SNA member to install in a NAD C368 I had purchased but that fell through. I now have a NAD C3050LE so not required. Very little use from previous owner. In original box with ESD bag. Some paint missing around the two screw holes as seen in photos. Postage Australia wide and Sellers fees included in price.
  10. Further Information: Full working condition . Some scratches on case
  11. Further Information: I'm offering a pristine NAD T778 AV Receiver that is still under warranty for another 2 months. Purchased locally from Videopro Carindale, Brisbane. This unit is NAD's flagship AV receiver. It's essentially like getting a brand new device, ensuring you'll enjoy its outstanding capabilities worry-free. Perfect for fellow audiophiles and home theatre enthusiasts. Musical performance is outstanding with high-res multi-room streaming via BluOs. This class D amplifier is very efficient and does bring a major benefit in how cool and quiet the unit runs. The T778 is a modular design that allows for future upgrades. For Brisbane locals, this NAD T778 is available for auditioning so you can experience this exceptional audio powerhouse before making your decision. This package comes complete with a full paid upgrade of Dirac Live, allowing you to fine-tune your sound to perfection. The box, remote control, NAD calibration mic, and all accessories are included, ensuring you have everything you need to create your ultimate audio haven.
  12. Further information: I am the second owner of this amp, it was originally purchased March 2021. Receipt, box, remote and all accessories are included. Unit is in mint condition and hasn't even had the plastic protection removed from the LCD etc. Great unit for the money but the hardware is a bit overkill for my setup so I have downgraded to smaller amp for now and just looking to recoup the $$$. 13. Further information: NAD C160 Preamp I bought this from an SNA stalwart to tide me over whilst my Sansui was being repaired. Great sounding preamp it does have a remote. I never used and am not sure it works. It is in pretty decent condition (see pics) and works perfectly. It doesn't have original box but it will be well packed if shipped. Comes with manual. Thanks for looking and feel free to PM with any questions cheers chris Photos: PLEASE READ If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you are advertising multiple items, you must post one bulk price only, or post seperate ads for each item If you don't include photographs of the actual item being sold, your ad will not be approved You understand that a reasonable donation for selling fees is expected upon successful sale of your item - if you have previously sold items and not made a donation, your advertisement may not be approved.
  14. Further information: Hi, I am selling my brand new nad d3020 v2. It still has the protective film. I bought this thinking I could connect it to my pc, but the nad has deleted the usb input in the v2. 15. Further information: Very versatile and great sounding NAD D3020 (1st Gen) which comes with USB connection too. This D3020 is based on Hypex Power amp & switch power supply Module inside and sounds smooth and tight deep bottom end without digital harshness. I think that NAD spent all their money inside components and put minimum amount on chassis because the chassis is made of thin glossy black plastic and it is finger print magnet and easy to get scratched. I have not tried 2nd Gen but if it is similar then 2nd Gen should be also very good sounding amp (lose USB connection but added MM Phono). Mechanical Condition: All functions works as it should for both speaker and headphone out. DAC section (USB, Optical and Coaxial) all works, too. Note: The LED indicator for Optical 1 is dimmer than others (refer attached second last photo). I believe that it is common issue and It never bothered me but if new owner wants the Optical 1 indicator to be bright then may need to replace LED on the section. Cosmetic Condition: Overall okay but bottom plate has scratches (see attached 2nd photo). Good thing is that it is black so a bit hard to see scratches and once it is laid down then not be able to see. Comes with unit, power cable and original remote. No original box but can pack carefully for safe delivery. Shipping should only costs $12 local and $20 to most of metro cities in AU. Rural area may cost a bit more. Photos:
  16. Further information: NAD MODEL 200 Beautiful rare Vintage NAD amplifier, 100 watts per channel Made in Japan Musical, flexible and rich. Powerful yet also able to power smaller rooms and speakers. Incredible flexibility with how you configure your speakers. You can select main speakers, remote (second pair), both pairs at once, quadraphonic, send just left or right signal to all speakers, stereo or reverse stereo or mono. There are also a wide range of eq settings available to tune your system. You hear the term ‘built like a tank’ thrown around but this system absolutely warrants the title at 24KG. You can run just the preamp into an external power amp, run as an integrated pre-power, or loop the preamp out and into the power amp section separately. There is phono, tuner, tape in and out via rca and an extra phono, aux and tape in via din. I have rca to din converter cables that I can throw in. There are also tape level and Dolby settings and VU meters with variable settings. I had this as my main system and it powered two sets of powerful 4way speakers. I finally got the Radford valve amp I’ve wanted my whole life so this became my bedroom system where it powered one pair of smaller 3 way speakers. I’ve also run lower power 2 way speakers successfully. I love it but it is way under utilised as a second system so it’s time to send it to a new enthusiast. The amplifier is in perfect listening order and sounds just fantastic, with nothing needing doing. Due to being 46 years old you may wish to have it serviced or recapped, although it’s not necessary. Only other points are that one globe is not working in one VU window however the meter works perfectly. Also a speaker select nob is missing. Similar ones can be found with some research. The face plate presents very well, there are some signs of age on the casing. Please look at pics carefully as there are some marks but nothing unusual for its age. There is an engraved security number on the black casing which is not too obvious: see pic. Because of weight pick up is preferred but will drop at a local pack and send if buyer organises. Specifications Power output: 100 watts per channel into 8Ω (stereo) Frequency response: 20Hz to 20kHz Total harmonic distortion: 0.1% Input sensitivity: 2.2mV (mic), 3mV (MM), 200mV (DIN), 200mV (line) Signal to noise ratio: 65dB (MM), 85dB (DIN), 85dB (line) Dimensions: 440 x 360 x 165mm Weight: 24kg Year: 1975 Photos:
  17. Further Information: I love the NAD products, but it's time to continue to downsize the collection and just have a C3050LE. These two amps combined are fantastic and output 160 wpc. Amps is in excellent condition, looks as new, the C368 even still has the plastic over the screen. Comes boxed with cables, manual and remote. May consider separating the amps. Price is negotiable.
  18. Further information: NAD C558 for sale in mint condition. Ordered in July 2021 and delivered only in December 2021 due to covid 19 deliver delays. Probably used less than 50 hours. As can been seen from photos feet have been upgraded to adjustable feet as the original feet are not adjustable. The original feet are also included. Comes with the factory fitted Ortofon OM10 MM Cartridge, heavy glass platter, RCA cables and power supply. 19. Good morning learned people, I've been contemplating an AVR upgrade for some time & finally decided on the NAD T778. I had reviewed many & short listed those down to the NAD, an Arcam or Marantz. For many reasons my ticklist repeatedly brought me back to the NAD. However, i have 3 questions for you learmed aficionados out there if i may:- 1. Has anyone also been down this similar path & what was your outcome? 2. Does anyone own a T778? I would very much apppreciate your feedback. 3. Does anyone know when NAD are likely to update their models, more explicitly the T778? For the record, whilst i really love a good movie experience, more than most to be fair, my heart is and always will be >100% drawn to quality music. And yes, as my SNA handle may less than subtly attempt to convey, whilst i appreciate low levels of volume, normally with others in attendance, i am by far my true self when being at one with quality music at high volume. This might sound strange to others, albeit i suppose I physically & emotionally feel the music more at >ambient levels whereby I feel euphorically immersed during such occasions. Hope that makes some sort of sense & there are other such strange bipedal mammals out there?! Also, I recently travelled to Melb for the SNA show, thanks for an awesome experience by the way SNA crew, and used the trip to critique my next (1 year) planned purchase following the AVR. Being either a set of Sonus Faber Sonetto III's or B&W 702S's. By the way, you Melbourne folk are literally spoilt for quality audio shops, you lucky things you. Unashamedly, I have been a B&W fan for many decades however read & speaker drooled over the Sonus Fabers more and more over recent years. Unfortunately, or fortunately as the case may be, even though i really believed & wholeheartedly wanted the SF's to blow me away, they didn't. The B&W's were unfreakingbelievable, especially at relatively low volumes. I'm sure that paints my picture well enough & as a result that's certainly enough waffle from me. Many thanks in advance for the time taken to read this possibly longer than average post & also for any subsequent feedback offered! Cheers, Al...

  21. NAD M33 Master series smart amplifier. Used but in excellent condition with its protective plastic cover still on the front screen. All accessories included and in excellent condition. Comes in well designed & robust double boxed original packaging.
  22. Item: NAD 3020B Stereo Integrated Amplifier Price Range: FREE Item Condition: Used. Purchased June 1985 Extra Info: I would rather it did not go into landfill. Pick up Brisbane.
  23. Further Information: I have a T758 V3 amplifier for sale that is practically brand new. It was meant to be for a surround sound system but that plan didn't happen and will never happen as the house I have just bought has no room for such a system. I have a full range license of Dirac, I am willing to transfer the license to you along with the AV receiver but I'll have to find out if that is even possible.
  24. Music Meant to be Heard not Seen The NAD M10 represents a new kind of high-end audio system. Luxurious, smart, but very discreet. Performing the same functions that once required a rack full of components, it is in many ways superior even in performance. The elegant form factor takes up very little space and can even be hidden away, but the beautiful design and colourful display will encourage you to place the M10 front and center. 25. Further Information: I'm selling 1x NAD c298 amplifier. The amplifier is about 2 years old, and was only used for 6 months of that time. Purchased originally as part of a 3 way active system (I purchased 3x c298's, the amplifier powered a pair of Dome midrange drivers), I now run a full range 2 way setup, and no longer have a requirement for this 3rd amplifier. My system will retain two of these fantastic amplifiers. The amplifier is unmarked and looks great. The amp comes with original NAD papers and box. Widely considered one of the best performing and measured amplifier @ its price range. These amplifiers sell new, anywhere from $3000 - 3600aud. https://nadelectronics.com/product/c298-stereo-power-amplifier/ Stereophile measurements: https://www.stereophile.com/content/nad-c-298-power-amplifier-measurements Stereophile review: https://www.stereophile.com/content/nad-c-298-power-amplifier Soundstage review: https://www.soundstagehifi.com/index.php/equipment-reviews/1528-nad-c298-stereo-amplifier Soundstage measurements: https://www.soundstagenetwork.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=2493:nad-c298-stereo-amplifier-measurements&catid=97:amplifier-measurements&Itemid=154 Alpha audio, NAD C298 power amp VS Bryston 4B SST3, Jay talking about the unit Interestingly the amplifier offers variable module gain, allowing easy matching with preamps, and Dacs with low to high voltage outputs. Max output can be achieved from 1.43Vrms to >7v rms depending on gain setting, allowing listeners to maximise SNR. I ran the unit direct from a multichannel high voltage output DAC, with the amplifier set in low gain. Please feel free to touch base with any questions.
