  5. Further information: Classic 1970s Marantz 140 power amplifier in good working condition. I bought this about 18 years ago with one channel was dead. I had it repaired (I think output devices were changed on one channel as well as all the fuse lamps for the vu meters) and used it briefly in second system but it has sat in a cupboard unused since then. I recently checked and it works fine and still sounds great .... surprisingly rich and grunty actually. VU meters work fine and illumination all ok. Cosmetically quite good ... the top panel has a couple of minor dings and has been repainted. The front panel is pretty clean ... there are marks around the mounting holes where it looks like it had been fitted into a rack, hence the short power cable. As should be standard practice for any electronic component of this age (remember this is mid 70's Marantz), if I were to put it into regular service I would look into having electrolytics changed. Prefer local pick up but will post at buyer’s expense. 8. Further information: Selling my Vinyl system, this does not mean I don't like vinyl but I need funds for something else and my record collection is countable by a 3-years-old kid note: selling Cyrus Signature Phono and PSX-R2 external power supply as well (Ping me if you want whole system for a better price) I run to rabbit hole of Vinyl although just as an interim solution while waiting for my MSB DAC and wanted to see what a good Vinyl system can do on sound quality. Now I have a pretty decent digital system and vinyl system, I could directly compare a 12k rrp analog system with a 20k rrp digital. Guess what? In a few same albums I owned with in certain music genres (vocal+slow balad), P9+Ortofon Cadenza Blue+Cyrus Phono win its music sounds right, more enjoyable and relax then MSB discrete DAC of course with trade off of all the hassle of Vinyl including 1-2$/hours for cartridge lifespan and expensive record. As “Classified” policy, I cannot put real price on the description, if you need a breakdown, please PM me [ SOLD] Rega P9 Turntable: bought from SNA member, great condition for its legendary and classic design, in my eyes, P9 designs better than latest P10 and will blend to your living room in a super charming way Box: Orgininal box for turnable, no box for power supply but I have plenty of suitable box for it. The Rega Tonearm is RB1000 and has been fitted 3mm spacer for the Vertical is now a great fit for Ortofon cartridges. This tonearm come with high-quality shielded phono cable, so there is no need or worrying in any extra purchase to make it works. rrp: $7500 back in the released date http://pymblehifi.com.au/docs/Rega_Turntables.htm, used to be top of the line and be pushed down by the latest P10 In my eyes, the P9 design is as an art and collectable item which can live with time forever. Ortofon Cadenza Blue: Brand new, just received as a replacement unit from Interdyn/Distributor of Ortofon in Australia, what happened? Not really anything wrong, I complained to Ortofon some comestic/fitment issues which does not affect the sound but just OCD on me on perfection, surprise they come back to me and say we can replace it, kudos very extremely high bar in customer service, unit is still under Australian consumer warranty until 06/2021 (purchassed from lifestylestore.com.au) rrp: $2749 https://www.decibelhifi.com.au/ortofon-cadenza-blue/ You will find two of them in my photos, but the one is on the tonearm will be sent back to distributor Please note the asking price for this BRAND NEW cartridge is cheaper than "used" price from recent sale on SNA, please make your own evaluation on this rare chance. 11. Incredible speakers for the money. rave reviews and great looks. Mint condition, complete with original packaging. Pick up please. 16. Further information For sale is my like new Fiio Ek10 Olympus II Selling due to recently upgrading to a Schiit Jotunheim. The Fiio EK10 Olympus II was a great entry level DAC/headphone amp that made my terrible Logitech headphones actually sound great. Postage at buyers expensive
  17. Further information: World class high end Esoteric P-03 transport and D-03 DAC in excellent condition (no scuffs, scratches, or performance issues) with original manuals and remote. Was about A$50,000 on release in Australia and £25000 in the UK: https://www.choicehifi.com/product/esoteric-p03-d03-g-orb-rubidium-clock/ Manufactured in 2007 but well cared for. The DAC display is less bright than the transport but this was from new - each has three brightness settings and an off option. The units weigh about 30kg each and exude quality. I use them for playing CDs and SACDs as well as a separate input into the DAC for my Aria II NAS. Various options are available for upsampling - I prefer the musical warmth and body using none. Purchased in February 2020 from the Perth member formerly known as Eagleeyes and now wheelsofsteel. Paid extra for Oyaide silver 110 ohm XLR connectors between the units (Oyaide BNC interconnect cable for the Word clock connection was included) and all up I paid just under $11k so discounting 10% as an allowance for my enjoyment. Price is firm as simplifying to a single box would be nice but not necessary. If you are in Adelaide, demonstration for serious bidders is welcome and encouraged as delivery would be much easier, so preference given to locals. Interstate buyers are of course welcome and the original triple boxing for each unit should enable secure insured courier transport at a buyer’s expense and risk but I am not interested in disputes resulting from couriers hence the trusted PayPal only option. 19. These were built by Scan Audio, the Australian Dyn distributor circa 1980/1990's. From what I can tell they are similar to the Profile 4 with an upgraded network and vertically aligned drivers. The network inside is quite complex particularly around the large mid range dome. All crossover components are Solen poly caps and air core inductors. Driver compliment: D21AF Super Tweeter D28AF Tweeter D76AF Mid-Dome 30W54 12" Woofer Cabinets are very well built with substantial cross bracing and double thickness baffle. One baffle is slightly darker than the other but this is only noticeable when they are pushed together. Cabinets are 8.5/10, they present very well with a nice satin finish. A few minor marks but nothing of consequence. The drivers are in excellent condition. No crushed or dented domes. I have grilles for these which are not pictured. These speakers simply sound awesome, some seriously deep bass and a massive, lively sound. I could see them pairing well with valve amplification. They don't play well with a forward sounding amp/preamp. Paired with my Krell FBI, which is on the warmer side neutral, sounds fantastic. If I roll in a BHK pre the sound gets a little over-bearing. Serious good value here and out of all the speakers I have sold recently in this price range, these are my pick. Come have a listen.

Lee 0.6 soft edge ND filter 100x150mm - one corner slightly chipped - see photos 11. MindShift Filter Hive - filter case Top quality filters. I bought them over the last few years. The kit and the oldest filters are about 5-6 years old, the latest addition was Super Stopper that I bought about a year ago. The circular polariser is relatively new too. The filters were lightly used, no scratches and always kept clean. I have all the original boxes, cases, and packaging. Decided to downsize and switched to a different filter system. So the sale. At this stage I would prefer to sell them together. But if you're interested in a subset or individual filters please send me a message, I may consider splitting the set. Pickup available from Lindfield (2070) but I'll be happy to post them (fully insured AustPost) for an extra fee. Photos: 1. Lee Foundation Kit (up to 3 square filters) 2. 23. Just one year old only and in immaculate condition, but I have the audiophile bug bad and a new journey starts today with a Gryphon Diablo 300 integrated - just delivered as I type! 😉. Out goes the Anthem stack. Plenty of good reviews around to espouse their qualities far better than I, but coming from a PrimaLuna background can attest these are truly high class products worthy of the praise they receive. Purchased for its 600w of power to drive my Sopra 2's and twin Martin Logan 210 subs, which they did beautifully, and for the pre-amp's transparency and its strong inbuilt digital section incorporating Anthem's highly regarded Room Correction. A great combination with heaps of versatility for modern systems. Prefer not to split up the stack. Can audition here in Perth if desired provided you repack in the boxes (the originals), and happy to freight nationally at buyer's cost. RRP $14.5k. Happy buying. 24. For sale my 4 months old Epicon 2 Ruby and their stands (~10k RRP). See my feedback from DrMikeOz about the Rubicon 2 I sold to him after 2 years, so I will let you imagine the condition of these...:) I have everything, including boxes, manual, etc. Pet free, smoke free, child free environment, and even my wife has been training her social distancing skills with the speakers (she's not allowed to be closer than 1.5 meters). The ruby varnish is amazing, among the most beautiful I've seen, but really hard to take in photos... I did my best but you might have to check online if you want better pictures of the varnish. Sound wise it's fabulous. It does require more power than the Rubicon 2 (I had to go from the Elekit 8200 to the 8340 (On sale too)), but does everything better. I used to have sub-woofers with the Rubicon, I never felt the need with these Epicon. First time in a while I just sit down and enjoy without thinking about changing anything (the Focal Utopia headphones have the same effect on me). Amazing imaging, all the details, forward but not harsh, deep bass... Read the reviews below, they are describing them better than I can. I think they are brilliant with tubes, but I've been told they pair very well with SS too (Electrocompaniet, Roskan, Musical Fidelity and Hegel). They are pretty big for bookshelves speakers (see the pictures with the banana for scale). My plan would be to sell them here and buy another 2nd hand pair when I'll be back in Europe (my dad, who's also into HiFi is looking for them on my behalf, lucky me). If I get no luck selling them here, I'll ship them over by the end of the month so they'll arrive before Xmas. I bought a cheap system to keep me waiting until then. However I've read a lot of bad reviews about shipping speakers, and even if I can insure them, I think I'll have a heart attack if they damage them.... So I'd still prefer selling them here. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions! Reviews from internet: From the What Hi Fi review: Once properly bolted onto the supports and run-in – which takes around 100 hours – these standmounters sing. Play a piece of music like Queen of Hearts by the Unthanks and these Dalis will repay you with a wonderfully articulate and fluid midrange performance that reveals the nuances in the haunting vocals brilliantly. There’s just the right degree of natural warmth in place, which isn’t always the case with rivals that chase resolution over musical satisfaction. These Dalis never make that mistake. Yes, they dig up masses of detail, but the presentation always chooses the path of entertainment over outright information retrieval. This lovely midrange performance is flanked by frequency extremes that are almost as impressive. The enclosures might be relatively small, but all the work Dali has done with those mid/bass drivers and the cabinets’ construction has paid off with the kind of weighty, agile but rich bass that will satisfy in all but the largest of rooms. Full review: https://www.whathifi.com/dali/epicon-2/review From Trusted Reviews: What this all adds up to is a fabulous sound, rich in detail and oozing warmth. With music, there’s passion and dynamism in spades, but everything is delivered with the level of poise and refinement you’d expect from speakers costing upwards of £3k. They’re capable of a big, muscular sound, and when it comes to forceful parts of a song they really put their back into it. The roomy cabinets allow for excellent bass depth compared with regularly sized standmounts, so the sound feels like that of a larger floorstanding pair. With a price tag like this you might expect nothing less, but even so there’s no denying that the Dali Epicon 2 deliver heavenly sound quality. Music playback is blessed with lucid detail, which brings an openness and insight missing from cheaper speakers, while their bass reproduction is some of the deepest and most agile we’ve heard from a pair of standmounts. Full review: http://www.trustedreviews.com/reviews/dali-epicon-2 From Pocket-Lint: To some, it might not come as a surprise that speakers which cost nearly £4k are "very good indeed". But with hi-fi, it's never clear if you're buying something worthwhile, or something that's just designed to appeal to people with a lot of money. And here's the deal. Speakers cost more because most people will buy one or two pairs in their whole life. Buy these Epicons now, and there's a pretty reasonable chance they'll still be serving you well when you're retired and have to have everything turned up to 11 to hear it. So what seems expensive now will more than likely see several different hi-fi components being connected to them over their life. These may very well be the cheapest thing you invest in for your hi-fi over the whole of your life. The sound is delicious too. As we said, we're not used to speakers that have such a comprehensive range of frequencies in one box. And usually, if we're honest, audiophile speakers can be a bit negligent in the bass department. That's not the case here, there's plenty of everything and a great balance. From i-fidelity.net: For here the Epicon 2 indeed knows only one direction. It shows the typical and perfectly spatial imaging qualities of a compact loudspeaker, combined with a low-end fundament that sets a new benchmark not only in its price range or speaker size class. It absolutely requires stands of suitable height, but those don’t necessarily have to come from Dali. In any case this flawless high-end speaker definitively resents being placed on a shelf or a sideboard. And the Epicon doesn’t make ultra-high demands on the electronics, thereby lowering its purchase price and catapulting the speaker even higher in its attractivity. So high that i-fidelity.net makes the Dali Epicon 2 a reference and justifiably so!
