Paradigm Signature S8 v3: ($15,595.00 AUD RRP) After making a substantial upgrade (in terms of both size and cost), it is time to put my beloved Paradigm Signature S8 v3 speakers up for sale. They are the Cherry finish and are in excellent condition with no visible flaws or marks and drivers in A1 condition. These are fantastic speakers that just drip detail, have great bass response and perform amazingly in a home theatre or 2 channel setup (or in a combined version of both as I was previously using them). Further information: This rare Dynavector 30C MC cart came with a vintage turntable I bought around a year ago, but I do not use MC. It is the best of the 30 series first introduced in 1978 and features a boron cantilever. It belonged to a retired hi-fi rep who really looks after his gear. A pair of frame grid TESLA ecc 83 12 ax7 input tubes, I used these in my leak stereo 20 for a short while! Very Transparent sounding and warm signature from this Amplifier without compromising any details. True dual mono design with separate power supplies and 2x 22000uf premium sound capacitors. Recordings sound as close to the original rendering. Extremely fast and articulate with beautiful stereo separation! Further information: These PMC Twenty5.24's were purchased brand new in June 2019. They are the Amarone colour variant. I had paired these with my Devialet Expert 200 (also for sale) which provided a fantastic combination, especially with the SAM profile enabled. With SAM enabled these speakers dig even deeper than they already do, to around 21hz. See here. These are quite easily the best speakers I have owned to date and I'm having to give actives a try to beat them, especially at their very competitive price point. Further information: This Devialet Expert 200 was purchased in December 2017. I paired this with my PMC Twenty5.24 (also for sale) which was a tremendous combo. The SAM profile on the Devialet enhances the already impressive bottom end on the PMC's and gives them even more slam and authority. I have owned a variety of amplifiers in my time including Plinius, Parasound and Rotel. This Devialet unit has been the best amp I have owned to date. This is not only from a sound/performance perspective but also in terms of user experience. The flexibility with the Devialet configurator is second to none and the unit is compact and a real show piece. I used this unit for both 2 channel listening as well as HT duties by utilising the pre-out function. The built-in phono stage is also brilliant and worked well with my Rega P7. The unit also worked nicely with Roon. It's a notoriously difficult product to photograph due to the mirror like finish but I have tried my best. The unit is in excellent shape as you can hopefully tell from the photos. I was very careful handling this unit and cleaned it regularly with utmost care. Tannoy Definition DC10T These are one of my favourite speakers and I have been on the fence about parting with them for a long time now, but they are just sitting as I have too much other gear and they wont have a permanent place any time soon. They were $12k RRP and I have designed a replacement crossover that goes into the original place in the cabinet and takes up the same space by double stacking the boards. Keeping the original coils and upgrading all the caps and resistors to higher grade mundorf of same values. They also have upgraded isolation feet for hardwood floors and come with the original spikes for carpet aswell. I have original boxes and magnetic grills for shipping and they are in excellent condition overall, bar a minor blemish on one cone that has been repaired (there is a close up that shows it well, but you cannot see it from a couple of meters back) - hence the price. Obviously these are never going to be made again with Fyne taking over this line after the company sale/restructure - the Fyne F703 is the replacement for these and with an RRP of 19k, makes these look like a relative bargain.
