Further information: For sale is the highly sought after but hard to find Kevin Gray mastered vinyl version of Joni Mitchell - Blue. This is the 180 gm RTI pressing, reissued in 2020. Same master as the raved about 2007 reissue ("KPG@CA" in the deadwax). The jacket is made from heavy stock and is tip-on construction. Beautiful really, but this cover was quite badly damaged in transit. I considered returning it after I had secured another copy. But why waste a perfectly good LP? I opened the seal and played the LP. It is flawless. Could do with a clean but only because it came in a paper inner. I put it in a MoFi inner sleeve. Further information: I bought this highly regarded vintage Sansui 555A a couple of years ago for my partner's system (along with a Primare D20 CD player and a pair of Celef Domestic Two speakers), but discovered when we moved in together a few weeks ago that she had never used it. No room for three+ systems, so various bits and pieces are now going up for sale. It works perfectly and has that sweet Sansui sound. It also has the ability to function as either a stand alone power amp or a separate preamp. Although rated at about 28W at 8 Ohms, it is actually quite powerful and has run a number of my speakers very adequately during testing.
