  1. It's a great amp, purchased from Life Style Store. Still not sure what direction I want to go in, but am considering the LS50 Wireless II (due to its simplicity and ability to replace my home theatre set up with its high pass capabilities). There's still a year warranty, plus I believe Rega has a lifetime warranty for manufacturer defects. Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic amp for the price and anyone who has owned one will attest to that
  2. Not at this stage - they're Atacama Nexus 6000i's. Not sure whether I'd replace these with standmounts or floorstanders yet, so I'd like to keep my options open
  3. Further information: Less than a month old, in perfect condition. Come with a 5 year warranty. Brilliant speakers, but I'm thinking of another solution for my enormous open plan living room (90m). 4. Further information: Brilliant Rega Brio, in perfect condition. All original boxes and documents included, still under warranty. 5. Great to hear. Did you compare to Wireless II? I hear that the Hegel H190 + LS50 Meta combo is superior, as it should be for the price.
  6. For what it's worth, I called KEF Australia (Audio Connect) and they recommend a Hegel H120, H190 or Arcam SA30. Notably all more expensive than the LS50 Wireless II, but I understand the hesitation around actives.
  7. Further information: 24 inch (ex spikes) speaker stands. These things are rock solid, even without filler at around 15kgs each. Purchased new last week but look a little big with my new speakers. 8. Thanks Warweary! I guess my main concern is around the effect (if any) of floor reinforcement on bass having them lower down. Purchased based on reviews and in store demo, but I'm still concerned about how they'll perform in my open plan living room (9m x 4.4m) despite the assurances of the salesperson...
  9. Hi there In the user manual for the LS50 Metas, Kef recommends stands at a height of 25 to 30 inches. I recall that for the LS50s, Kef recommend a height of 18 to 24 inches. Does anyone know the reason behind this change. Perhaps the Metas are designed to be listened to on axis and the LS50s off axis? I'm tossing up between 24 and 29 inch stands. 24 is more in line when reclined, 29 when sitting up straight. Any help would be great, thanks!
  10. Aspiring audiophile here, looking to upgrade. Current set-up is Rega Brio, Q Acoustics 3050, Technics 1200 Mk3D and Nagaoka MP200.
