  2. Increases the risk unnecessarily of introducing dirt/lint/debris into the crankcase during the oil change process. This debris could then cause scoring in the oil pump before being caught by the oil filter. BTW, do you know there is no standard tabled in any of the API/ACEA oil classifications for the cleanliness of new engine oil? (Not that I would lose sleep over this!) If you believe a 1500km oil change interval is beneficial, surely by the same logic a 750km change would be twice as good? If frequent oil changes makes you happy, keep at it and do

  4. Hi, I'm new here and thought I better say "hello"! Like many I guess I've had a stereo for decades and had just replaced components as they failed but hadn't realised how terrible it sounded until a few months ago when I heard a Miles Davis CD that I was very familiar with being played through a classic set of KEF Reference Model Series 3's.
