  1. Hi guys, I’m after a Vintage 70’s Marantz or Sansui receiver for my personal use. Marantz 22 Series or Sansui 771, 881 or others considered as well as others like Pioneer SX and Luxman etc. Feel free to get in touch if you have something that may be of interest that you’re looking at selling. Can negotiate price based on model and condition. Please note, must be visually good without face plate scratches or damage. Happy to pay for delivery interstate or can pick up Brisbane area and surrounding. Cheers! Photos: PLEASE R
  2. This sold for $401. Not bad, but the SME did look like she’d seen better days. Still a bit of a bargain as they’ll only go up in value.
  3. Hi mate, Yeh had a read and it does get a good rap. Not many come up for sale so parts may be harder to source than the SME arms? Not sure. I’m happy enough with the sound I get from my other deck with a Series 2 and V15III on it and as always with HiFi, so many parts to make up a whole and the never ending persuit for better sound! Especially from Vintage gear.
  4. SME as above Purchased from Bernard. Thanks all for your input. It’s been fun! Still looking for a Series 2 for another deck. Cheers, Jason.
  5. Hi RankStranger, Its a Series 1 on that deck and yeh, it looks like it’s seen better days. I’ll keep an eye on it. I’d say all bids are for the arm.
  6. Cheers. PM Sent re the Series 3. Hi Honreekia, I’ll let you know re the Series 2.
  7. Now that’s just plain cruel! Next you’ll tell me the deck alone was worth $950! Hehehe. I’ll happily take a deck with one of the price is right. There is an S model but i’d prefer the full Monty version. Cheers.
  8. Further information: Hi all, I’m interested in buying an SME S3 Tonearm. Feel free to get in touch if you have or know someone looking at selling. Its going on a Thorens however, will consider another brand that also works well on a suspended deck. With or without Cart is fine. Price listed is a guide. Will negotiate upon application. Cheers! Photos: PLEASE READ If you are advertising multiple items, you must post one bulk price only, or post seperate ads for each item If you include any reference to pricing w
  9. Ok great, thanks for the info. I’ll add him to my little list as I get replies from everyone. Cheers!
  10. Hi guys, Thanks for that. I’ll get in touch with them and go from there. I’ve been wanting to get my Amp done for a while but good techs are getting harder to come by. The challenge that comes with the passion for vintage hi-fi.
  11. Hi all, Originally from Sydney, now I’m up north. I’m looking for a good technician in the Brisbane area that knows how to get my Sansui solid state amp singing again with some high quality caps and a good overhaul. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!
  12. Thanks so much. Looking forward to getting involved. My first question is around Tech’s in Brisbane which I’ll post now. Cheers.
