  1. It has been a while since I’ve listened to this album.
  2. Yes, Binge is annoying. I can’t figure out how to pause something I’m watching on Binge through Apple TV. Also finding shoes/movies through genre search is not great. Other than that I’m happy with the content.
  3. Have you received your Meizu HiFi Pro? If so how are you finding it? I ended up buying a preloved Schiit Modi 3. I’m looking forward to testing it out.
  4. Thanks @KRSDarwin. I like your cabinet. It definitely gives me something to think about. Thanks for the suggestion @dlr. I've not thought about checking out built in robe companies. Will see what's about in WA. I'm hoping to have the TT on top but my partner would prefer it to be stored inside the cabinet.
  5. Hi all, I’m hoping this is the right place to post this thread. My partner and I are looking for a new entertainment unit to hold a turntable, integrated amp and CD Transport, Blu-Ray player and a PS4. We’d like all of the devices to be inside the cabinet so they can be hidden away when not in use. Is there anyone in Perth who knows of any cabinet makers that make custom made furniture. I know of living edge and rough furniture but I’m not sure if there are others out there worth contacting. We’d like to have at least three separate spaces to store the audio/video equipment. For the middle section we’d like to store a turntable and would like this section to have a lid so we can open when using the turntable. In the other two sections, one would contain an integrated amplifier and a CD transport unit, and the other one would house the Blu-Ray player and PS4. Here’s a sketch of what we’re looking for. I’ll be trawling this thread for inspiration, but feel free to share your setup if you have something similar to what we’re looking for. Many thanks .
  6. Hey @Hi-Fi Whipped. I haven't actually tried. I have the 4K version of Apple TV. I can change the audio settings in the main menu of the ATV box (my options are stereo and DD5.1). I only run a 2 channel system, so I'm not sure if I can run a test to check for you. I'm useless when it comes to tech too.
  7. Are you sure @Hi-Fi Whipped? I'm watching Binge on my Apple TV and I have the following audio options: Stereo, Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus.
  8. A Clockwork Orange -- Fruit -- Pineapple Express
  9. I don't have the players you've asked about, but according to the specs on the Sony website the Sony BDP-S790 only plays the following audio files: WAV, MP3, WMA and M4A. https://www.sony.com.au/electronics/support/home-video-blu-ray-disc-players-recorders/bdp-s790/specifications I couldn't find anything on the CA player.
  10. Hey Ollie. I recommend that you go to Frank Prowse and check out the Wharfedale D320 speakers. They are small, within your price range and pretty good for their size and price. Alternatively, you could check out the classifieds on here (you may need to post a few more times to get access to them) as you can regularly find a good deal.
  11. I've only just moved to Tidal and haven't started (or even considered) curating any playlists yet. Here's some of my saved songs from Spotify. It won't be everyone's cup of tea but I hope there are some songs that people will like. https://tidal.com/browse/playlist/f4804a4e-b326-4865-acad-56c1e658a616
  12. Item: Schiit Modi 3 Price Range: $175 or less Item Condition: Used Extra Info: I'm looking for a DAC to connect my laptop or phone to my amp. I do have a network streamer but my poor internet makes streaming via Chromecast or UPnP pretty unstable. Streaming on the laptop or phone alone doesn't cause me any problems. I don't want to spend too much on a DAC and am looking for something quite small and I've heard good things about the Schiit Modi 3. Item has been found.
