  1. The Invisible Man. A harrowing film about domestic abuse with a great performance from Elizabeth Moss. It can be rented for $2.99 on the Apple TV store this week.
  2. Further information: I'm selling the Primare NP5 Prisma streamer as I no longer use it. I bought this device on 5 June 2020 for $1099 from Frank Prowse and only used it for a few weeks. It's a great little device but my internet struggles when streaming via computer or tablet using UPnP, so I've purchased a USB DAC to stream directly from my devices. The NP5 has Chromecast built-in and includes Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, and will be Roon Ready following a future update. You can also play audio files from a USB flash drive, external USB hard disk, or a network drive. I'll throw in a coaxial cable that the store gave me when I purchased the device. I can provide a copy of the tax invoice on purchase. Price includes PayPal fee and a donation to SNA. From Primare's website: NP5 Prisma is the network player for everyone, incorporating all the functionality found in our award winning Prisma enabled models, in addition to control of network connected hard drives, Prisma includes AirPlay 2, Bluetooth®, Roon Ready*, and Spotify Connect®, Prisma features Chromecast built-in, a unique streaming portal allowing effortless direct connection to hundreds of streaming applications and services, including voice control, for the best possible performance and user experience. *with future update. https://www.primare.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/NP5-Prisma-User-Guide.pdf Photos:
  3. Yes, you may be waiting a couple of weeks. I’m sure it will be worth the wait.
  4. I can’t believe this album is 20 years old. I fell in love with it instantly and have been a fan of Coldplay since
  5. Broken bells. I’m not sure if they are still going but only released 2 studio albums to date and good ones too. Yazoo By no means a favourite, or even a band I particularly like, but they only released 2 studio albums.
  6. I was going to buy this for my partner but he no longer needs one. I should have checked before responding but didn’t want to miss out. GLWTS
  7. The Fugees It’s also a shame Lauryn Hill only released one studio album.
  8. Friends let us borrow their high quality binoculars when we went to Africa last year. I’m not sure if they were Bushnell but they looked very similar and cost about the same. The image quality was amazing! Everyone we went with ended up fighting over those binoculars.
  9. @leon0001 I'm liking my combination. It works well for both music and films. I'm sure there are better combinations out there, but this is a good setup for me based on the amount I was willing to spend. It definitely helps to think of what you will be plugging into your amp now and what you may want to add in the future. I could have bought a better integrated amp, but the ones I liked didn't have a phono input so I would then need to buy extra equipment to connect a turntable.
  10. Thanks Mark. I really don't understand why companies develop poor apps to support their products. Did you try the web interface for the N15D too? I do like the look of the Matrix Audio products, so I may end up waiting until one of those come around at the right price. Joe
  11. The Cocktail Audio N15D is available on Hi-Fi Disposals for $799. I currently have a Primare NP5, which is a great player but the major streaming services (except for Spotify) are integrated. So I have to use UPnP for Tidal and this can be impacted by my Wi-Fi (I don't have a way to connect via ethernet in my lounge room). This player looks like it may be better for me as I can connect my PC / tablet to the N15D using a USB connection and can also buy a Wi-Fi dongle and use the Cocktail Audio app to stream directly from Tidal without having to use UPnP. My internet is fine when streaming on one device but struggles when streaming on a computer and connecting to my NP5 over UPnP. I can also have a HDD of music added to the device without having to buy a NAS. Are there many people on here with the N15D? If so, how do you find the product? Is the app any good? The review on the Google Play store aren't that positive. Or do you use the web interface control on your computer? Is it easy to save music on the HDD when it is in the N15D, or do you have to remove and connect to a PC to do this? I'm not sure whether to get the N15D and sell my NP5 and Schiit Modi 3, or wait until I can get a good deal on a Matrix Audio streamer.
