  1. Jimmy Giuffre (with Bob Brookmeyer and Jim Hall) - Western Suite
  2. Several sources report that the great Peter Brötzmann has passed away. A sad day for jazz. RIP I will be playing "Peter Brötzmann - Münster Bern" as soon as I get home.
  3. Mal Waldron - Searching in Grenoble: The 1978 Solo Piano Concert
  4. The "non-identified" wine, which was clearly identified as 2018 Moorooduc Pinot Noir, arrives today. Hooray.
  5. That was my first thought as well. But is does not apply here because the wine was picked up in Doncaster East according to the tracking info. Also, I have ordered many times from this shop before (including the wine in question just two weeks ago), and his has never happened before. It is a shop, not the winery itself. Someone must have made a mistake. Can happen.
  6. I ordered 12 bottles of 2018 Moorooduc Pinot Noir from Doncaster East (Melbourne). I live in Williamstown (Melbourne). This is how Australia Post decided to ship the parcel: I can't believe this. How does this make sense? Seems I need to wait a bit longer to enjoy this wine...
  7. With the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in Paul Grabowsky's Immortal Diamond. Looking forward to see one of my favourite singers of the 80s/90s (Dead Can Dance, This Mortal Coil).
  8. One of the last boatbuilders in Williamstown, Melbourne
  9. Glad to hear this as I am about to do the same (vinyl + DSP speakers).
  10. My first ever Tassie wine after living for 13 years down under. Not bad!
  11. I guess I am lucky. No problems with iPhone 11 (iOS 15.6).
  12. I even would say best value whiskey or whisky.
  13. Prefer the old bottle design with the big printed turkey, less pretentious. But the content is still great.
  14. Same here. Switch located on the back of the monitors (Quested V2108), but easy to reach at about 1m height (monitor on stands).
  15. Dwight Trible Leon Thomas Paul Robeson Harry Belafonte Louis Armstrong Jack Teagarden
  16. One not widely known jazz piano recording that I like a lot is is Randy Weston - Marrakech in the Cool of the Evening. Recorded solo in a large ballroom, you can hear the space and feel the cool of the evening. Also brings back memories of Marrakech.
  17. Father’s Day Special: Horace Silver Quintet - Song for my Father
